Step inside, and you'll notice the welcoming ambiance, thanks to the soft furnishings and warm colour scheme. The open-plan layout makes it easy to chat with your fellow guests while you prepare raclette in the kitchen, before serving up your culinary creation at the dining table. There's also a beautiful private balcony, where you can enjoy a glass of wine as you breathe in the fresh air – with awe-inspiring views across Mont Blanc, it's a very special spot. 

From here, you can drive to the slopes of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc ski resort in around fifteen minutes, for an exhilarating day on the mountain. The town of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains itself has plenty to keep you busy in the warmer months, including a skate park, a swimming pool, and tennis courts, all within a few minutes' walk away from your front door. And, with hiking, paragliding, and hot air ballooning nearby, you can get your adrenaline pumping as you explore the majestic landscapes on foot or by air. 

Wrap Up Warm

This cosy chalet blends the comfort of your own home with the high-end amenities of a five-star resort. Nestled in between the low-vaulted beams and light, wooden flooring, you'll find a plethora of facilities designed to soothe your mind and body. 

All the amenities lay downstairs in a secret bunker full of luxury. We'll start with the pool and the glorious views on show when you're going for a swim. You can set the water so you swim against the current – a fun way to get in a workout. A compact gym resides next to the pool for further chances to work the lungs and muscles. 

After working up a sweat, whether it's on the slopes or the pool and gym, you'll want a calm sanctuary to relax. Well, you're spoilt for choice. Choose between the hammam, capable of seating six people, or snuggle up in the cinema room with one of your favourite films.

Upstairs, you'll find a huge living space coated in floods of natural light. Of course, you can wander through the living space and onto the terrace to enjoy the sunshine blending into the crisp, cool air. We recommend starting your mornings here with a cup of coffee, slowly waking up with a view of the mountains you're going to master. 

The Soothing Bunker

The fresh air and pretty views of mountain tops mean that a visit to the Alpine village of Megève is usually pretty relaxing, but just in case you need a little bit of extra help in reaching a state of bliss, this chalet has its very own spa area complete with a jacuzzi, hammam, and massage bed.

That's just one of a number of impressive facets of this home. We should start off by mentioning the open-concept living area, which is blessed with copious amounts of natural light from the large windows and glass doors. The design is heavy on ultra-modern stark white walls and sleek surfaces, particularly the minimalist kitchen. It's not hard to imagine putting your feet up and relaxing in this space, perhaps by the contemporarily styled glass fireplace.

If you're here during the warmer months, there's both a balcony and a terrace on which you can sit out and admire the beautiful scenery. On the other hand, a visit during the snowy season can only mean one thing – skiing. The home has a ski room complete with a boot dryer and there are lifts up to the slopes starting as nearby as three minutes' walk away. This cosy chalet awaits you at the bottom of the La Princesse slopes. Offerings you a gorgeous view from every angle outdoors, as well as a sneak peek at the surrounding scenery from inside the home. You'll be greeted with wooden beamed ceilings and walls as well as wooden furniture to provide you with comfort and charm no matter the time of year. Pop the fireplace on as you put your feet up on the sofa next to the stone feature wall. 

Sip on a toasty cup of hot chocolate while you open up a brand new book, or turn on the TV to watch a movie with your loved ones. Whip up a freshly baked cake or a savoury meal in the contemporary kitchen, before tucking into a delicious homemade meal at the dining table – accompanied by the wonderful view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Alpine Valley Residence

With stunning mountain views, this is one of the prettiest places to stay in Saint Gervais. There’s also a private heated pool for blissful swims and a terrace for sunset drinks. Head inside and you’ll find a snug living room for cosy evenings and plenty of dining space with more incredible views. We recommend hiring a car to get around here, but it’s just a short drive to the nearest gondola lift for the ski season. It’s also just a short drive to the nearest restaurants and shops.

Located near the village of Megeve, this chalet – which has been built with dark wood for a cosy cabin-like feel – is situated in a quiet area making it the ideal home for peaceful family breaks. Enjoy leisurely breakfast at the kitchen’s breakfast bar before you head out and explore the beautiful landscape of Megeve or visit the centre which is just a few minutes away. This area is also a popular ski resort with downhill runs, snow parks and cross-country trails, that are perfect for adventurous travellers who want to hit the slopes. 

After a busy day, we would love to unwind in the home’s private sauna before enjoying a nightcap on the balcony. Then, snuggle up for the night on the sofa together in front of the roaring fire. 

Written in the Wood

Megève has long had a reputation as a destination for the glamourous echelons of society to ski and be seen. With chalets like this awaiting for visitors today, it's fair to say that this prestigious standing is unlikely to be diminished anytime soon.

While there are aspects you'd expect to see in mountainside accommodation – plenty of wood, faux fur and roaring fires – there are a few others that will come as a pleasant surprise. Take the ground floor, for instance. Here you'll find a large swimming pool with a wave system, plus an adjoining fitness room. If that sounds a little too taxing, guests have the option of taking a seat in the two-person sauna or reclining in the outdoor Jacuzzi instead.

Even aside from all these fancy extras, the home itself is the epitome of luxury, with vast open spaces, chic furnishings and a pleasingly sleek kitchen. Oh, and there are also boot heaters and a ski room to get you ready for the slopes – the nearest lift to take you up there is only a four-minute walk away, too. Elsewhere in the surrounding town, you'll find plenty of high-end restaurants and boutiques, plus a jazz festival held once a year in the spring.


Dazzling Diamond

This beautiful Combloux chalet offers stunning views of Mont Blanc and is close to the ski slopes. The sun-drenched open kitchen is the perfect place to cook up delicious meals, while the spacious balcony is ideal for relaxing in the evening. The six ensuite bedrooms ensure both comfort and privacy, and the fireplace provides a cozy spot to gather after a long day on the slopes.

Mont Blanc Magic

It’s hard to imagine a more luxurious chalet than this spectacular home. It can be found in a small hamlet just 200 metres from the slopes of Rochebrune, and a ten-minute drive from the nearby shops and restaurants. When you’re not on the slopes though, you won’t want to travel far – this home has everything you might need for a trip that’s memorable for all the right reasons. 

Spend the morning on the slopes, and return to the chalet for a cosy afternoon in front of the fire. Sip cocoa in the dreamy open-plan living space, beneath attractive wooden beams. When you’re ready to stretch your legs again, you might take the lift down to the wellness centre on the lower level. Swim laps in the heated swimming pool, or work out in the gym. Soothe your aching muscles by soaking in the Jacuzzi, and then move into the sauna or steam room. You can even arrange for a massage to take your relaxation to the next level. When you’re all blissed out, head back upstairs for a sumptuous dinner prepared by a private chef. 

Your evenings can be spent sipping wine and catching up around the table, or stargazing from the terrace. Families will love the home cinema room, where you can screen movies for the ultimate laid-back night in.
