We love this home for its location within an authentic enclave that's a stone's throw from Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter. The home itself is more functional than sumptuous, although it does shine for its great cleanliness standards. A well presented terrace offers the option of enjoying a drink or meal al fresco, while there's also a cocktail bar just downstairs, and although it's more of a boozer, it's still a great spot for a classic cocktail. A couple looking for a base from which to explore the nightlife of the Latin Quarter need look no further.

This tasteful home makes for a comfortable and practical base for two in Paris. The Latin Quarter location means that you’re in the thick of things, with Jardin du Luxembourg just 550 metres away and Notre Dame a fifteen-minute stroll. Mabillon metro station is also close by. The apartment itself is tucked down a small street, and has everything you might need. There’s a desk in the living room for remote working, and the projector in the bedroom means you can add cosy movie nights to your itinerary. The only downside to this charming apartment is that it’s on the fourth floor with no lift – it won’t be suitable for everyone.

A word of caution, this home is on the third floor without a lift. If you're able to compromise on this, then you'll enjoy a wonderful home in the Plum collection.

If you're on a short, action-packed trip to Paris - this is the perfect base to stay. Just a stroll away from Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens, you have some of Paris's tourist hot spots quite literally on your doorstep. The interiors here are sophisticated and classical, with well-curated artwork and antique pieces. Perhaps not for culinary connoisseurs, the kitchen is on the basic side, but suitable for whipping up a quick meal. With the second bedroom tucked away by the living space, and the master on a mezzanine level above this, it's the perfect space for a small family.

There isn't a TV here, but with well-stocked bookshelves and lots to see and do on your doorstep, we reckon you won't need one.

But we think the best way to see Paris is on foot. Lose yourself to the treasure trove of swish restaurants, bars, and expensive designer shops of this stylish quarter – it’s all on your doorstep.

This Paris apartment is perfectly placed for exploring the city and its iconic landmarks. High ceilings and panoramic windows in the living area create an airy space for relaxing or enjoying a meal. You’ll need to be comfortable climbing stairs, as it’s on the fourth floor with no elevator. It's easy to see why we love this apartment. First, the location is incredible. You're smack-dab in artsy Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of Paris' most emblematic neighbourhoods. Although we could spend all day discovering the boutiques and eateries here, it's extremely well-connected to the rest of the city if you'd like to venture further afield. Secondly, the apartment itself is a real gem. The design combines traditional features with all the modern conveniences you'll need. Space can be a little tight with the sofa bed in use, but there's plenty of room in the main suite and the second bathroom is a nice bonus. If you're after a quintessentially Parisian experience, this is it.
