This spacious home, situated on the ground floor, and accessed directly from the street, is ideal for a family, friends or business travellers. Bear in mind, though, that there's only one bathroom for six guests at full capacity.

After all, the Jardin du Luxembourg is just a stone’s throw away. Or drink in the atmosphere of this home’s location in Odéon from the balcony with views of the street below. The characterful accommodation is spread over two floors linked by a narrow spiral staircase. This is a lively area, so don't expect complete peace and quiet. But for couples and solo travellers who want to be near to arts and culture, it's more than ideal.

A Parisian Dream 

This slightly quirky home is a convenient base in Paris. It’s close to the Mabillon metro station and is within easy walking distance of the Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame. You’ll have your pick of restaurants, bars, and theatres nearby, too. There are two living rooms here, one of which houses a sofa bed for two guests – as well as a desk for remote working. A child can also be accommodated in a mezzanine-level single bed, but this won’t be suitable for everyone given the stairs.

Close to Saint-Germain-des-Près, this is home to some of the most exclusive shops in Paris. A fittingly sophisticated neighbourhood to match this apartment. Step out into the chic streets, and you're a fifteen-minute walk from the jaw-dropping collections in the Louvre and twenty minutes to the Pantheon. Meanwhile, the Paris Metro can have you strolling past the luxury boutiques of the Champs-Elysees or marvelling at the majesty of the Eiffel Tower in twenty and thirty minutes, respectively.

This tasteful home makes for a comfortable and practical base for two in Paris. The Latin Quarter location means that you’re in the thick of things, with Jardin du Luxembourg just 550 metres away and Notre Dame a fifteen-minute stroll. Mabillon metro station is also close by. The apartment itself is tucked down a small street, and has everything you might need. There’s a desk in the living room for remote working, and the projector in the bedroom means you can add cosy movie nights to your itinerary. The only downside to this charming apartment is that it’s on the fourth floor with no lift – it won’t be suitable for everyone.

It’s a three-minute stroll to the Latin Quarter, and just fifteen minutes on foot to the beguiling building of the Notre Dame cathedral. What’s more, the Odeon metro stop is two minutes away, ready to whisk you to every corner of Paris with ease.

This apartment is a bibliophile's dream, from the collection of classics in the wall-press to the striking bookshelf wallpaper adorning the entire kitchen. It feels a little like a cave of wonders in here. Parquet flooring throughout and rich oil paintings in the bedrooms add to the sense of intellectual refinement.

We love this home for its location within an authentic enclave that's a stone's throw from Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter. The home itself is more functional than sumptuous, although it does shine for its great cleanliness standards. A well presented terrace offers the option of enjoying a drink or meal al fresco, while there's also a cocktail bar just downstairs, and although it's more of a boozer, it's still a great spot for a classic cocktail. A couple looking for a base from which to explore the nightlife of the Latin Quarter need look no further.

Overlooking Luxembourg Gardens through large windows, this palatial Parisian apartment is a great find for friends travelling together. Luxembourg public transport is only a four-minute walk away and ready to zip you across Paris to see landmark sights like The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower and more. With antique furniture, parquet flooring and decorative fireplaces, the interior style might not be to everyone, but it is central and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The balcony is a nice touch, and we recommend enjoying your first cup of coffee on it every morning.

There's plenty of storage here for your belongings or any new purchases and if you need to work from home, one of the bedrooms has a desk. Granted, one guest will sleep on a sofa bed, but we don't think they'll have to compromise on space. Location-wise, this neighbourhood speaks for itself. There's a restaurant and bar next door, plus many more in the area. You're also within easy reach of Notre Dame and Jardin du Luxembourg, while the metro is nearby if you'd rather not explore on foot.

Positively brimming with vibrant colours, eclectic design and leafy houseplants, this uplifting apartment in the 5th arrondissement is a breath of fresh air inside and out. Take the family for a picnic in scenic Jardin du Luxembourg, only fourteen minutes away, before walking to the Notre Dame cathedral – fifteen minutes from your door. With the Latin Quarter's hip bars, indie bookshops and classy cafés nearby, there's plenty to see and do locally, without the intense crowds and flocks of tourists found elsewhere in the city. Back home, the apartment is decorated in a playfully Parisian style with quirky art objects adorning the walls, bold wallpaper prints and a palm-themed dining area. Sit down in the pink chairs for a convivial breakfast or host a games night in the fun-filled relaxation area – complete with large beanbags, Acapulco chairs, cushions, boards games and books. It's been designed in the spirit of a boutique hotel, with heaps of artsy and charming features throughout, and we think it's a pretty special place to call home.

The second bedroom has a small double bed and is accessed via the main bedroom, so this place is probably suited to families. If you are looking to immerse yourself in sophisticated Parisian life, then this apartment could be the one to choose.

Though you won’t find a TV here, you’re spoilt for choice for entertainment right outside your door, from shopping to museums and more cafes and restaurants than you can shake a baguette at.

There’s a desk space here too should you need to catch up on work, but with so many sights to see from your apartment’s prime position, we highly recommend less work and more play. 

Visit famous Notre Dame (a fifteen-minute walk), spend an afternoon admiring the Louvre’s masterpieces (a twelve-minute walk) and take a stroll through the beautifully manicured Luxembourg Gardens (a five-minute walk). In the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this chic apartment makes a fantastic retreat for couples. Your host has carefully considered every detail, from air conditioning and a laptop-friendly workspace to luxe L'Occitane products and fluffy bathrobes. The kitchen is well-stocked (albeit compact) if you plan to rustle up meals at home, though there are plenty of local eateries and Michelin restaurants nearby. There's also a sofa bed for two guests, but we think space will be a squeeze with it in use. Location-wise, Jardin du Luxembourg is an easy stroll away, as are markets, shops, and theatres.

Perched on the fifth floor of a honey-hued Haussmann-style building, just a stone's throw from the Luxembourg Gardens, this charming home exudes Parisian charm. Here, you're in the heart of the sixth arrondissement, one of Paris' most coveted neighbourhoods, best known for its historic architecture, upmarket boutiques and café culture. It was the latter that once enticed mid-20th-century creatives and intellectuals, including Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre, to this quintessential neck of the woods.

Inside, it's an elegant canvas of high ceilings, herringbone parquet floors, elaborately moulded white walls and tall windows ushering in floods of sunlight. Enjoy views of the peaceful shared courtyard from the beautifully-equipped kitchen while preparing delicious meals. We especially love the open-plan living area, adorned with plush upholstery, a stylish dining set-up, ample bookshelves and a majestic marble fireplace. Travel by lift to the fourth floor of this typical Parisian building and you’ll unlock the door to luxury and comfort that echoes the delicate beauty of the city itself. Between wall panels, chandeliers, wrought iron and gold, and carefully curated furnishings, this space is detailed and special, made even more so by the light streaming in through the windows. 

Come together for a light bite every morning by sitting down at the striking dining table – because the kitchen is fairly compact, this might be the only meal suited for it, but cheese boards can be easily put together for a light dinner. One of Paris' most famous landmarks is your neighbour at this central apartment. Notre Dame is only a short walk away, but next door is the Church of Saint-Séverin. It may not be as iconic as its neighbour but it’s just as beautiful – and you'll be treated to panoramas of the gothic architecture from the living room windows. View aside, we love the space on offer here, even if the second bedroom is a tad snug and two guests will sleep on a sofa bed. The contemporary finishes are a nice touch, too. There's a soaker bath, a sleek kitchen, and even air conditioning – no wonder it caught our eye.

Sitting in a central spot to the south of the Seine, we're sure that you'll be just as smitten with this bright apartment as we are. There's a simply huge amount of natural light from the windows and doors that line the living space and this shines rather nicely off the stark white walls, wooden floor and sleek kitchen surfaces.

While it may not have the Haussmanian period charm of other homes in the French capital, the furnishings and finishes are all contemporary – even a little minimalist so in places – and there are no parts that we can identify as needing some urgent love and attention. There's plenty of room to kick back and relax after some serious sightseeing, while the smartly designed kitchen is plenty big enough should you decide you need a night off the city's famous restaurants.

Whenever you choose to leave the home, you'll be immediately greeted by the building's plant-filled courtyard, which is a pleasing pocket of green in the heart of the metropolis. Beyond that, it's easy to stroll over to some well-known attractions, including the Luxembourg Gardens and Les Invalides.

Polished Perfection

This pretty-as-a-picture apartment will help you feel right at home in Paris. The building was completed in 1860 and there are plenty of reminders of its history, from the high ceilings and parquet floors to the ornately carved fireplace and tall windows. That's not to say it's without modern comforts though – you'll love the sleek kitchen, luxurious marble bathrooms and workspace where you can catch up on emails while working remotely. 

Our favourite spot is the balcony, where you can sit and enjoy croissants with coffee for breakfast while watching the city come to life below. Down on the street level, you'll find many of Paris' top attractions are right on your doorstep. The Louvre is just a five-minute stroll away, while a ten-minute walk will take you to the Notre Dame. There are plenty of brasseries and jazz bars to discover nearby and, thanks to the excellent public transport links, you can visit other parts of the city with ease.

The apartment is charming and eccentric, with wooden beams, vintage-style furniture, and a collection of worldly curios. It’s a cosy base for four, and the kitchen makes it a practical home-from-home in the City of Lights.

Although the location is great, we’ll start with the apartment itself – you can see why with views like this. The vistas from the balcony over the Eiffel Tower, River Seine and the Quai des Orfèvres are fantastic. The open-plan living room and main bedroom have a wonderful outlook too. It's easy to see why we love this apartment. First, the location is incredible. You're smack-dab in artsy Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of Paris' most emblematic neighbourhoods. Although we could spend all day discovering the boutiques and eateries here, it's extremely well-connected to the rest of the city if you'd like to venture further afield. Secondly, the apartment itself is a real gem. The design combines traditional features with all the modern conveniences you'll need. Space can be a little tight with the sofa bed in use, but there's plenty of room in the main suite and the second bathroom is a nice bonus. If you're after a quintessentially Parisian experience, this is it.
