In the heart of the vibrant Marais district, this apartment is perfectly located for a Parisian retreat. There are plenty of boutiques and restaurants nearby, and you’ll be within easy walking distance of attractions including Centre Pompidou and Île Saint-Louis. Rambuteau metro station is just a few minutes away, too, so seeing the rest of Paris is as easy as can be. The apartment is charming and rustic, with wooden beams and vintage-style furniture. It’s a cosy base for four, and the kitchen makes it a practical home-from-home in the City of Lights.

Take in the views over Paris’s Archives Museum from this apartment’s large windows. We love that a lot of thought has gone into the decor here, too. Just a couple of things to note – at full capacity, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room. Also, both bedrooms are street-facing, so you may hear a bit of noise here. Otherwise, this is a great choice for friends or a family looking to take advantage of this home’s great location. It’s in Le Marais, so you’ll have access to stylish shops, restaurants, and art galleries.

Nestled in the Marais district, you’re never far away from chic cafes, boutiques and trendy galleries with a stay here. Perfect for a family or group of friends, the cherry on the cake of this third-floor Parisian apartment is the private terrace. Just the spot for sundowners after a day of sightseeing, it’s a very welcome addition to this home. When you’re keen to explore, you can take a leisurely stroll through the local streets or hop on the metro to visit some of Paris’ most iconic landmarks.

Located in the heart of Paris between Le Marais and Les Halles, this home is a perfect pad for friends or family visiting the French capital. Sure, there’s no air conditioning here, but throw open the windows and you’ll soon feel a welcome breeze. It’s also worth noting that the third bedroom is just off the living room, so privacy may be somewhat lacking – although it can be closed off with a sliding door. Locally, you’re blessed with a plethora of French eateries, and a choice of nearby metro stations makes trips across the city a breeze.

This pretty-as-a-picture apartment will help you feel right at home in Paris. The building was completed in 1860 and there are plenty of reminders of its history, from the high ceilings and parquet floors to the ornately carved fireplace and tall windows. That's not to say it's without modern comforts though – you'll love the sleek kitchen, luxurious marble bathrooms and workspace where you can catch up on emails while working remotely. 

Our favourite spot is the balcony, where you can sit and enjoy croissants with coffee for breakfast while watching the city come to life below. Down on the street level, you'll find many of Paris' top attractions are right on your doorstep. The Louvre is just a five-minute stroll away, while a ten-minute walk will take you to the Notre Dame. There are plenty of brasseries and jazz bars to discover nearby and, thanks to the excellent public transport links, you can visit other parts of the city with ease.

What a treat this home is. Set in one of our favourite parts of the city, just on the banks of the river, it's tucked away in such a peaceful little courtyard you may find it hard to comprehend you're in the centre of Paris. This ground-floor apartment has been refurbished recently and mixes period features like high ceilings with modern minimalism, a sleek white kitchen and a touch of industrial styling. Comfortable, bright and surprisingly private, it's a real retreat away from the bustling city streets.

Step outside each morning and grab a coffee and croissant as you stroll along the Seine – it's just a six-minute walk to take in the impressive view of Notre Dame, currently being restored. Close to the buzzing Latin Quarter, there's no shortage of great places to eat, drink and shop, and most of the city's big attractions are within walking distance.

Experience Paris like a true Parisian in this authentic French apartment set on the beautiful island of Ile Saint-Louis in the tranquil eastern end of Paris. 
Filled with a mix of contemporary and antique pieces carefully selected chosen by the owner, this home strikes the right balance between classy but cosy interiors. The vibrant and eclectic furnishings are even further complemented by unique pieces of artwork in true Parisian style. We particularly love the grand table dining area, which hones in on the importance of eating well and eating together when embracing the French culture. Pick up a good bottle of French wine from the local wine cellar, alongside other necessities from the butchers, bakery and fromagerie – all located within five minutes walking distance on the island. Once the restaurants clear out at night, the streets of this little village in the heart of Paris, fall quiet and a late stroll down the main street gives the feeling of having stepped into an Impressionist painting. Cross over the river Seine in either direction and you'll find yourself, once again, in more picture-perfect scenes reflective of Paris' romantic reputation.

Style and space come in equal measure at this oh-so-Parisian period apartment set in the 15th arrondissement. Expect pared-back, sophisticated interiors and original Juliet balcony doors that flood the home with natural daylight. Perfect for a multi-generational family stay, alongside the two main bedrooms, there are two single bedrooms for children or a single adult. And when it's time to get together, that roomy kitchen for lazy breakfasts with croissants from the bakery downstairs should do nicely. Location-wise, you're just a ten-minute amble along the Seine to the iconic Eiffel Tower – or perhaps a little longer for pitstops at the countless streetside cafes and bistros along the way.

Immerse yourself in Parisian life at this chic apartment. You'll find it in Le Marais, home to an array of trendy eateries and shops. If sightseeing is on the agenda, many of the landmarks are reachable on foot, while a metro station nearby makes exploring all the easier. The living area is bright and contemporary, with a sleek kitchen where you can nibble on brie before heading out. There's also a workspace in the bedroom. The layout can be a tad snug with the sofa bed in use, though – fine for short stays, but might not suit everyone.

Sprawling across three floors with a quaint courtyard, there's something truly relaxing about this hidden-away home. Although the distribution with a bedroom in the basement may not be to everyone's taste, the conservatory-style kitchen is the jewel in this home's crown - large enough to both cook and entertain.

With local bakeries, artisan shops, and delicious restaurants nearby, you'll be feasting on French classics in no time – especially handy as this home's kitchen is compact. Even better, you'll have easy access to landmarks and museums, whether you plan to explore on foot or hop on the nearby metro. Located on the third floor, the apartment is only accessible by stairs. However, the split-level layout means you'll have plenty of space to spread out and the design is chic and simple. The bedroom upstairs is cosy and comfortable, while the living area has a sofa bed for guests three and four.
