Located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, ten minutes on foot to the Bastille and fifteen to Le Marais and Republique, this lively quarter offers a more authentic taste of everyday Parisian life. A couple looking for a neighbourhood with a soul and a quiet home to retreat to will find in Azurin a great contestant.

Azurin

Tucked away in the vibrant Bastille neighbourhood, this little apartment makes a great base for an exciting city break. Outside, you’ll find a great selection of cafes, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood, while Place de la Bastille is also within easy walking distance. It’s worth noting there is no living room in the apartment, but you will have a small kitchen and a dining table – which doubles up as a handy desk for remote workers. And while the building does have a lift, please note there are a few steps leading up to the front door of this home.

A Sweet Treat

Bright and cosy, this studio apartment is ideal for solo travellers. We love the bold pop of green and the artsy wallpaper. There's also a compact kitchen, though we think it's best for rustling up lighter bites. A few homely touches are lacking here, but it works well for quick trips and business travellers. Besides, you'll probably spend the majority of your time in Paris out and about. Bastille is home to restaurants aplenty, and the nearby metro makes exploring further afield a breeze.

Spirit of Freedom

Tucked away in a peaceful building amid the bustle of the Bastille district, this tranquil apartment offers peace in the heart of Paris. The home is close to lively Rue de Lappe and just a ten-minute walk from Place des Vosges and Le Marais, with easy public transport links – the Louvre is a six-minute metro ride and the Champs-Élysées is fifteen minutes away. Warm and welcoming, the apartment is filled with natural light thanks to huge windows through which you can enjoy views of the courtyard and a small garden. There’s a convenient workspace for those in town for business – this apartment is equipped with everything you might need. 

Bastille Bliss

This studio apartment offers a cosy sanctuary in a great location. From here, you can stroll to cafes, bars and restaurants, while the nearest public transport links are also within easy reach. It’s worth noting the apartment does not have a living room, but you will have a small kitchen and a dining table – which doubles up as a handy desk for remote workers. This bright and airy flat is located in the heart of the lively 11ᵉ arrondissement, just a stone's throw from the famous rue Saint-Maur. The flat is fully equipped and includes a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. It is the perfect place to stay for a couple or a small family.

French Classique

Situated in the hip 11th arrondissement, you'll find plenty of boutiques, eateries and bars near this home, as well as sights such as the glamorous Opéra Bastille, Place de la Bastille, Le Cirque d'Hiver, and the Edith Piaf Museum.

This apartment is nestled cosily into the eaves of an old building, so there are exposed beams aplenty here. We love the spiral staircase and antique fireplace in this refreshingly original home. Colourful, modern furnishings contrast nicely with the character features and vintage, dark-wood floors. Whip up a croque monsieur or duck confit in the snazzy red kitchen and enjoy the fruits of your labour at your dining table. This place is ideal for a couple, solo traveller or business professional looking for a fantastic address.


Beam Me Up Scotty

This charming studio apartment is located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. Cimitière Père Lachaise is a short walk away, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. There are also excellent public transport links, with Rue Saint-Maur just a few minutes away. The Hausmann-style studio is warm and welcoming, with large windows and high ceilings that make it feel more roomy. We love the balcony, which is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or a pre-dinner glass of red.

Sitting in Bastille, this beautiful apartment is a stylish gem – combining modern amenities, classic features and a central location, this is a rare find. We love the bright open-plan living space where you can unwind after a day perusing Le Marais and Musée National Picasso. The kitchen is small but well-equipped for when you feel like eating in, though with Paris’ roster of restaurants on your doorstep, you’ll likely want to dine out. Paris is a great walking city, though should you wish to hop on the metro, you’ll find Bastille and Richard Lenoir just a few steps away.

Parisian Delight

It's all about the finer detail in this beautiful loft-style apartment that's just ten minutes away on foot from the famous Place de la Bastille. You’ll be wowed by the gallery-style collection of art and photographs on display, especially the mosaic of the homeowner's photography that takes centre stage in the dining room. From the sleek metallic kitchen (stocked with an entire drawer dedicated to tea and coffee) to the living room’s chic desk space and the luminous bedroom, there’s a feeling of both comfort and extraordinary style in equal, stunning measure. Our favourite feature, without a doubt, is the private leafy terrace. As it’s heated, you can spend peaceful mornings here with a good book and a cup of coffee or evening drinks as the sun sets, at any time of year. While we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to stay holed up in your arty haven, go out and explore the nearby sights – of which there are many. Explore the trendy Marais district with its vintage shops and cute cafes (a twenty-minute walk), enjoy a picnic in elegant Place des Vosges (a thirteen-minute walk) or discover the quiet beauty of Père Lachaise Cemetery, a twenty-minute stroll from your door. 


Jigsaw

With unobstructed views of trees and greenery, natural light floods Booksmart. It’s also brimming with books (remember to ask Claire for her favourite), which speaks to the home’s intellectual feel – and inspires us to read more. Found in a lively part of the 11th Arrondissement, you’re within walking distance to plenty of wonderful restaurants – as well as both Bastille and Canal Saint-Martin. Typically Parisian, it’s also surprisingly quiet, which is always a plus for us.
