From the sleek metallic kitchen (stocked with an entire drawer dedicated to tea and coffee) to the living room’s chic desk space and the luminous bedroom, there’s a feeling of both comfort and extraordinary style in equal, stunning measure. Our favourite feature, without a doubt, is the private leafy terrace. As it’s heated, you can spend peaceful mornings here with a good book and a cup of coffee or evening drinks as the sun sets, at any time of year. While we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to stay holed up in your arty haven, go out and explore the nearby sights – of which there are many. If you manage to drag yourself away from the windowsill, the rest of the apartment is another delightful sight. This one-of-a-kind home pays homage to both an ethnic heritage and the bohemian style of the surrounding area with its vibrant artwork, sculptures, and intricate adornments curated across the home. Return from a day of sightseeing, sink into the wood and wicker furnishings and unwind with a glass of wine in the warming living room. Then, head back through the French doors and whip up some ratatouille with goat's cheese in the modern kitchen if you don't fancy eating out. Walk inside this Haussmannian building and you'll find a bright home with period features – large windows and parquet flooring. The living area is comfortable for unwinding and the dining table is lovely for group dinners (and ideal for enjoying the provided breakfast). While the kitchen has a more retro feel, the rest of the home lands somewhere between classic and modern, with lots of green jungle-like plants contributing to a joyful atmosphere. Two of the bedrooms are decorated with children in mind, making this home ideal for families who want to stay close to the offerings of Le Marais and the Bastille metro stop, a minute from your front door.

While The Guitar Tuner is unquestionably a home with a compact footprint, it manages to pack a punch with its fresh decor, light-filled living room and the amenities of a modern home. There's air conditioning throughout, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a sumptuous rainfall shower. Its location in the Bastille quarter is also another of its selling points as it's a hip part of town that is close to the centre and not yet overrun by tourists. We love the bright open-plan living space where you can unwind after a day perusing Le Marais and Musée National Picasso. The kitchen is small but well-equipped for when you feel like eating in, though with Paris’ roster of restaurants on your doorstep, you’ll likely want to dine out. Paris is a great walking city, though should you wish to hop on the metro, you’ll find Bastille and Richard Lenoir just a few steps away.

A word of warning - the apartment is located on the fourth floor with no elevator so be prepared for some lugging of suitcases.

Paris is one of those walkable cities, but should you wish to hop on the metro, Ledru-Rollin is a few steps away. The interiors are exactly what you’d hope from a Parisian pad, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. There’s a desk for remote workers and a large dining table for sharing morning pastries. Though this third-floor apartment sits higher up (there’s a lift here, don’t worry), you may still hear some street noise.
