This apartment combines Parisian-chic with a trendy New York loft vibe (despite being on the ground floor). It fits right in with the neighbourhood, a short walk from Le Marais where indie galleries and niche museums sit alongside romantic bistros in the narrow streets. Wandering the typically Parisian streets around you is a delight, but you can also reach the major sights of the city centre by hopping on the metro at Oberkampf, just down the street.

Inside, exposed stone walls are warming honey-brown and the low wooden sofa has that eclectic artist-in-the-city vibe. Wood panel sliding barn doors and distressed dressed make everything feel upcycled. There are two seating areas in the huge, open living and dining room, separated by the big group dining table. Then the kitchen is tucked away at the back. Both bedrooms are spacious, with exposed brick walls carry on the New York loft theme.

This bohemian home is ideal for a cat-loving family or group of friends who want to stay in a creative part of town with two feline companions. Just a five-minute walk to Le Marais with its cool bars and restaurants, this home is ideal for wandering through Paris on foot, or get around on the two bicycles provided. There's plenty to see under a ten-minute stroll away, such as the Pompidou Centre and the Musée National Picasso-Paris. The apartment itself face a quiet internal courtyard and has oodles of exotic artwork and sculptures, while the exposed wooden beams lend a warehouse vibe. The highlight, though, is the outdoor space with its shaded deck, a real bonus for this part of central Paris – it's perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine with lunch.  




Collector's Cove

This bolthole in the 11th arrondissement is the perfect base for a couple or solo traveller. As there isn’t heaps of space, we’d recommend this place for short breaks rather than longer trips. The kitchenette does just fine for light meals, but when you want something more substantial, you’re spoilt for choice with the range of restaurants on the doorstep. Location-wise, the Rue Saint-Maur metro station is a minute’s walk away, and you’re not far from the charming Marais neighbourhood.

This 11th arrondissement apartment is a superb base for exploring Paris. It’s just down the street from Place de la Bastille, perfectly placed for events at Bataclan. The bakeries, boutiques, and charms of Le Marais are a short walk away, and you’ll have easy transport links to the rest of Paris. This is a comfortable place to call home during a city break, with a well-equipped kitchen and an attractive open-plan living and dining area. Guests three and four will sleep on a sofa bed here, so if you’re hoping for more space and privacy, we’d stick to a guest count of two.

Comfortable, bright and surprisingly private, it's a real retreat away from the bustling city streets.

Step outside each morning and grab a coffee and croissant as you stroll along the Seine – it's just a six-minute walk to take in the impressive view of Notre Dame, currently being restored.
