In Bas Marais, just a two-minute walk from the Saint-Paul metro station, welcome to the neighbourhood of Notre Dame and Le Village Saint-Paul. From baroque churches and antique stores, to boutique shopping and hip restaurants, this is a delightfully diverse area of the 3rd arrondissement. Through a grand, art deco-style doorway on a quiet street, this flat has every typical Parisian element you might come to expect. The wrought-iron balcony of the French windows, the elegance of the original fireplace, and the writer’s desk in the bedroom. The huge open-plan living area is bright and breezy, with understated decor which has a certain old-world charm. But you can stroll nine minutes to the Centre Pompidou if you’re looking for a contrast to your historic surroundings. This inside-out design building is certainly different from the grandeur of Notre Dame, just twelve minutes away. Continue on with some non-traditional art at the Musée Picasso, only eight minutes from your front door. Take the long way home, through the winding streets of creative Le Marais, to stop in at a few cocktail bars en route. With its rich, cultural history, we reckon it's the best area for inspiration to get started on that novel at the writer’s desk when you get back.

Although the distribution with a bedroom in the basement may not be to everyone's taste, the conservatory-style kitchen is the jewel in this home's crown - large enough to both cook and entertain.

Given its buzzing locale and fresh looks, this pad would suit a couple with a youthful soul, looking to explore the thriving food scene and nightlife of this very happening quarter of central Paris.

The interiors are a mix of classic and country-house, with wooden exposed beams, rich textures, velvet finishes and terracotta floor tiles. Although the kitchen is on the small side, this cosy space is perfectly suited to a couple who seek to immerse themselves into the splendour of a former era.

If you’re after historic charm, this recently converted home offers the rare opportunity to stay in one of Paris’ oldest townhouses dating back to the early 15th century. Sprawling over 6 floors, this Marais pad is definitely one for a sprightly group of friends rather than those who have mobility issues. An added bonus, each room has been designed as an individual suite with its own kitchen, living room and bathroom. Although this may not suit those looking for large open communal spaces, it has the added bonus of giving each couple their own privacy.

It has everything you need for a relaxed stay – a laptop-friendly workspace ideal for business travellers, a sleek kitchen with all the essentials, and a cosy lounge perfect for unwinding. A curtain separates the living room and bedroom, but there's ample space for a couple to get comfortable – and since the windows overlook the building's courtyard, it's relatively quiet, too. Location-wise, you can't beat Le Marais. Restaurants and designer boutiques are just a few steps away, while the must-see Parisian landmarks are within easy reach via the metro.

Suited to a couple after a quiet home in a central location, Île Saint Louis is a village in the capital with quaint bistros and cafés, grocers and niche art galleries - and there are no buses or tube stations. Just below the apartment is a delicious bakery that could come in handy for fresh croissants - be sure to enjoy them on the rooftop terrace overlooking Parisian rooftops and Notre Dame's bell tower.

This apartment is a short walk from the heart of Le Marais, one of Paris's most sought-after neighbourhoods. You’ll be able to stroll over to the Musée National Picasso-Paris, the National Archives Museum and the Centre Pompidou. If you prefer to explore by bike, there’s a convenient bicycle hire service available nearby, too. The bright living room, back at this apartment, sleeps guests five and six on a sofa bed. Crittall-style doors lead from this room to one of the bedrooms (there’s no window here, so it borrows light from the living space). The other bedroom has French doors opening to a Juliet balcony, and both have en-suites. This is the perfect place to experience a stylish Parisian getaway.

Musée Picasso is just a stone’s throw away, and you can reach pretty Île Saint Louis in no time. Saint Paul metro is close too, making seeing further-afield sights as easy as can be.

While it's certainly one of the more simplistic homes in our collection, you'll find everything you need here for a comfortable stay, whether you're travelling for work or leisure. You won't find much parking here, but subways and public transport are close by, granting access to many of Paris's iconic attractions. You'll find an array of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, so while the kitchen here is on the smaller side, you'll have plenty of fantastic local cuisine within reach.

Cosy and authentic through and through with (very) low ceilings and exposed beams, this one-bedroom apartment is a real haven for those looking to stay in Paris for a little longer than a short stay. In contrast with the more rustic charm of the living space, the kitchen and bathroom have been recently renovated and boast modern appliances and a rainfall shower respectively. For those who enjoy exploring, the Marais' eclectic boutiques, restaurants and cafés are just on your doorstep.

You’ll notice a restrained approach to the interior design; a stylish Scandi dining set provides a modern contrast to the intricate moulding details, a hint of the home’s grand past. Make like a local and idly sip your morning espresso by the enormous windows or recline on the couch with a dog-eared paperback. Munch on croissants with fresh fig jam, put together in your tidy kitchen or seek out a local café for a traditional Parisian breakfast. While it’s set in the central 4th arrondissement, there’s a tranquil, village-like feel to this small region – but with a huge personality. From baroque churches to hip restaurants, history and modernity combine to create a unique place, as does this striking duplex apartment.

In a 17th-century townhouse three minutes from the banks of the Seine, your life is about to become a Parisian movie (not just because this building has been used as a filming location). After ascending the grand staircase, your hand gliding up the wrought-iron railings, step into scenes of pure creativity and originality. 

Something between a cottage, apartment, and palace, this home really knows how to impress. We were immediately struck by the rustic timber beams, to match glossy wooden floors and a charmingly creaky spiral staircase. Shelves upon shelves of the host’s books line the walls, while vintage motorbikes sit alongside. And to add glamour to this eclectic mix, a glistening chandelier sparkles above. As you head to the second floor, the country-like feel of this village comes to life through distressed furniture, more huge beams, and cosy bedrooms in the eaves. Bohemian Paris at its finest.

Check out the small, but significant, art galleries and museums in your neighbourhood. You’re a five-minute walk from the Maison de Victor Hugo and ten from the Museum of the Art and History of Judaism. Shop in flash boutiques along the Rue des Francs-Bourgeois and refuel at the farmer’s market on Boulevard Richard Lenoir, held every Thursday and Sunday. When dusk falls, make a beeline for the craft-cocktail bars to try a carefully concocted beverage in a stylish setting.

Housed in a beautiful 19th-century stone building in Paris’ vibrant Marais district, this wonderfully bright apartment is brimming with style thanks to its charming retro look. Kitted out in vintage decor mainly from the 40s and 50s, there’s a cool sophisticated vibe here that feels perfectly Parisian. Kick back on the mid-century-modern armchair with one of the architectural books from the shelves or enjoy an espresso – made with the kitchen’s machine – and locally bought croissants at the chic dining table. We recommend enjoying a glass of French wine by the Juliet balcony, however, and basking in the glorious sixth-floor views over the city’s rooftops at sunset. The bedroom, meanwhile, is elegantly pared back with a comfortable bed (as well as a choice between two types of pillows) as well as stunning views over Saint-Paul Saint-Louis Church in the distance. Factor in the deliciously pink tiled bathroom with its sunken tub – ideal for finishing the night off with a glass of bubbly after an afternoon of walking – and you’re all set for a relaxing stay. Outside of your home, the Marais’ colourful streets beckon with their trendy shops and cosy cafés, elegant ​​Place des Vosges is a three-minute walk and Notre Dame is twenty minutes away on foot.

Utterly romantic and endlessly charming, it's not uncommon to hear accordion music drifting down the streets lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and crêperies. You couldn't hope for a more authentic spot to experience the magic of Paris.
