Hop on the lift at Le Pré – a four-minute drive – and be whisked away to the many runs and passages in nearby Les Arcs, one of the largest linked ski resorts in the world. It's buzzing with restaurants, bars and nightlife if you're in the mood to switch things up, but if you're a seasoned skier, there are off-piste lines right outside your door that you can explore. This home is a great option for families craving a serene place to relax and regroup. After a day spent on the slopes, store your skis in the storage room, pop your boots in the ski boot dryer and unwind in the cosy living area. There's plenty of mountain chalet character inside – think hide rugs, antler chandeliers and heaps of wooden accents – but the kitchen and bathrooms are contemporary and stylish. During the summer, enjoy your coffee out onto the balcony before heading out for a hike or just soak up the panoramic views of the countryside and nearby mountains all year round.

With all of the outdoor activities this area promises (six glaciers and sixty-three summits in this little village alone), a hearty meal will be just what you need to refuel after a fun-filled day. 

After dinner, settle down on the sofa, wrap a blanket around you and enjoy a warming cup of hot chocolate – whipped cream and marshmallows are a must. This cosy, wooden home is located just 800 meters from the centre of Val Thorens and 10 km from the centre of Les Ménuires. It is situated on a sunny slope directly by the skiing area, with slopes just 50 meters away. The well-known ski regions of Les 3 Vallées are easily accessible. The upper floor contains one large room with a south-facing position. The second upper floor includes a spacious living room with an open-hearth fireplace, dining table, and TV, along with an open kitchen equipped with all necessary amenities. The top floor has two rooms with sloping ceilings. The property is non-smoking only and allows for one pet or dog.

Which is why we know you’re going to love this home in the centre of Tignes. In good snow conditions (this is one of the Alps' most snow-sure resorts, so that’s basically all the time) you can ski in and out of this stylish apartment. There’s plenty of storage for your skis here too, so that means you can go from pain au raisin to powder in no time at all. And that’s not all. Inside, the design of this home has been immaculately thought-out. Wooden walls and ceilings keep things nice and warm, and the faux-fur rugs, throws and cushions really ramp up the cosy factor. The bedrooms are playfully set out, with cuddly toy heads mounted on the wall in the children’s room, and luxuriously soft furry blankets in the master bedroom. And after a tough day on the piste, we can’t think of anything better than admiring the glorious mountain views at sunset before tucking into a huge pile of melted cheese (raclette and fondue sets come as standard) in the fresh and modern kitchen with a large wooden table, leather bench and pastel-coloured metal chairs underneath low-slung industrial-style lamps.
