This is a stunning, modern villa located amidst picturesque vineyards on the outskirts of the medieval village of Caunes-Minervois. The villa boasts air conditioning, a heated pool, and panoramic views of the Pyrenees. The surroundings are ideal for cycling and walking, and guests can explore nearby attractions such as Carcassonne and Minerve. The villa features an elongated terrace with a sitting area, dining table, and plancha grill. The lounge is spacious and beautifully decorated with large glass windows, comfortable seating, and a flat-screen TV that can double as a virtual painting. The dining table is made from one piece of a tree and invites guests to enjoy long meals. There are four bedrooms, each with air conditioning, and two extra single beds can be added upon request for a fee. Two bedrooms have private bathrooms, while the other two share a bathroom. A sustainable heating system has been installed in the villa's floors to ensure guests' comfort during their stay.

Carignan

Only a five-minute stroll from the city centre of Toulouse, this modern apartment in the Saint Aubin district is a convenient base for those looking to soak up the city's attractions with ease. And while the shops, historic landmarks, bars and restaurants will keep you busy, the apartment's minimal designs offer a calming space to relax between excursions. The estate consists of a magnificent 19th-century château, an adjoining 16th-century farm, two separate cottages, and a magnificent 12th-century chapel, making it a historical treat.

Spend your days gazing out the balcony at the 360-degree views of stunning countryside and the Pyrénées beyond, and even get a cup of coffee to get your day started perfectly. This home has an abundance of options for keeping you entertained throughout your stay, from racing down the zip line for an adrenaline rush to boating along the little lake for a relaxing day drifting along, lured by your favourite book. Back at the house, enlist the assistance of a private chef to enjoy alfresco meals as glasses are raised and jokes abound.

It is absolutely tranquil to be placed in six hectares of private gardens, yet you get the best of all worlds since numerous places are only a short drive away. Pamiers is only a fifteen-minute drive away, and you must visit the vibrant Saturday market before stopping at a bakery for scrummy delicacies.

In the evenings, sit out on your outdoor lounge area with a sundowner, or cosy up with the TV and a movie.

Being located in the French countryside, you'll have many country rambles right on your doorstep, or venture further out with a drive to nearby Toulouse to explore museums, shops and restaurants.

This charming home is a five-minute drive from the centre of Molières, set on a 2.2-hectare estate surrounded by stunning valley views. Stroll through the truffle orchard and admire the fruit trees before diving into the heated private pool or starting a game of pétanque. Bring a car so you can explore the vineyards and charming villages of Tarn et Garonne.

Nestled in the countryside near the medieval bastide of Najac, this traditional farmhouse invites guests to experience an authentic taste of the Dordogne. While the classic interiors and historic stone façade offer old French charm, extras like a private swimming pool and elevated deck overlooking the surrounding landscape make this home stand out. The Rosemary

Renowned for its gastronomical contributions and the trademark pinkish colour of the buildings, Toulouse is a hub of food, architecture, arts and history, and only a short drive away from this beautiful home. 

When you’re not out eating foies gras or visiting the Canal du midi, you might be home enjoying a delicacy of another kind. Peace. Beautiful from one end to the other, this villa captures a bohemian spirit in wooden and woven elements, a neutral colour palette, and floral prints, but the crown jewel is undoubtedly the conservatory. 

Bookworms will especially love getting cosy on the sofa and reading in the light streaming in through the bi-fold doors – slide these open and enjoy the soft breeze as you devour romance novels with several cups of coffee. 

Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table that also calls the conservatory home, but we suggest at least one picnic on the grassy lawn. Enjoy drinks on the terrace at sunset and sneak down into the kitchen to help yourself to leftovers at midnight. 

Stargaze, play board games in the living room, and snack at the kitchen island as you socialise over a glass of good regional wine.

In Woven Dreams

Located in the Borderouge neighbourhood just outside Toulouse’s centre, this stylish apartment offers a comfortable base from which to explore the city away from the tourist crowds. 

Inside, tiled floors, an open-plan living area and cool, contemporary decor set an instantly inviting scene. Slide open the glass doors here to step out onto a private balcony – this is the perfect spot to indulge in some fresh coffee and croissants first thing each morning or a glass of French wine in the evenings as the sun sets over the surrounding rooftops. Back inside, the dining table beckons celebratory meals when you’re not out sampling the local restaurants, while the sofa invites relaxed lounging after a busy day of sightseeing. 

With a beautifully dressed bedroom that also has a desk space should you need to catch up on work, you’re all set whether you’re here for business or pleasure. 

When it comes to sightseeing, you’ve got a plethora of bakeries and restaurants, as well as a cinema within 50 metres of your home, while a quick drive or a trip by Metro – the nearest stop is 10 metres away – will take you into Toulouse’s buzzing centre. 


Chez Voltaire

This beautifully renovated sixteenth century farmhouse with sweeping grounds is perfectly suited to a large family or group. Children will love the play room and football goals in the garden, and a couple of the bedrooms are especially designed for kids. The heated salt-water swimming pool really makes this home stand out for us, as does the air-conditioned barn – available for an additional fee – complete with a range of fitness equipment and pool table. Be aware however, that four of the bedrooms and three of the bathrooms are in annexes separate from the main house.

Les Chevaliers

Secluded in the French countryside, this beautifully restored villa is the perfect getaway for large groups. The traditional Provencal interior brings no shortage of space and comfort and the villa stands on 650 acres of land, giving way to olive groves and fruit trees as far as the eye can see. Eight bedrooms are within the main house, and a further three are situated in the separate cottage, known as the 'Bergerie', where you'll also find a separate kitchen - great for inter-generational groups or those wanting more privacy from the main house. The kids will love the private pool, and grown-ups can take advantage of the poolhouse seating whilst supervising. Location-wise, you can venture to the coast on a day trip or visit the medieval Carcassonne, only a fifteen-minute drive away.
