Situated just 20 metres from the sea and 350 metres from the beach, this apartment is the perfect base for your Côte d'Azur holiday. With its convenient location, you can easily explore the town's shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it an ideal choice for families or friends. And if you’re here with kids, you’ll be glad to know there’s a communal playground to keep them entertained. The home has a large, private terrace with stunning sea and marina views. The vistas are great from the living space too (this room also sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full occupancy). Even with fees for towels and linen, we think this apartment is a great find.

This beautiful village house is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday in the Luberon region of Provence. The property is located on a hillside on the edge of Gordes, one of France's classified 'Plus Beaux Villages'. The Provençal valley views from the terraced grounds are incredible.

The house has been decorated with refined style and there's an authentic ambience across its elegant lounge, dining room and perfectly equipped kitchen with doors sliding open to the al-fresco dining terrace. Modern additions include air-conditioning throughout, a Sonos music system and Smart TVs in its mezzanine lounge and two of the three bedrooms.

Sleeping up to six guests, the bedrooms are gorgeous, one with a king-size double bed, wood-beamed ceiling and romantic rolltop bath, another with a queen-size double, sofa and en suite shower room and the third en suite with twin beds and lovely views through its little windows.

This is a typical French hilltop chateau, but this doesn't mean it's ordinary. The casually welcoming atmosphere is a product of modern furniture and restored period features, the kitchen being the best example of this harmony. Still, we expect you to spend much more time around this home than in it. With the huge pool that's perfect for a morning splash and the futuristic loungers around it, a gorgeous dining spot under the pergola, and a breezy back garden, there are plenty of spots to socialise or reflect in peace. The host team that looks after this home is always available to help and organise those extra touches that will make your stay even more special. Two of the single beds are up on a mezzanine level and younger children may need supervision on some of the staircases. That said, the kitchen is well equipped for family meals, and pets are welcome to join you. Sun loungers surround the infinity pool, and the large garden has room for alfresco dining. There's plenty of peace and quiet here, so we think you'll want a car for trips to Saint-Tropez, Nice, and Cannes.

Well, those views over La Croissete and the stunning French Riviera speak for themselves, don't they? The spacious terrace is great for soaking up the sun, but it only has two loungers, so you may have to negotiate who gets them if you're a group of four. We love that the main bedroom opens onto the patio – perfect for a morning coffee. Inside, the decor is quite traditional, so it may not suit modernistas – having said that, it's been nicely done. We haven't talked about the location yet – it's excellent. La Croisette Beach and Promenade are just a short stroll away. Or discover all of the chic boutiques and restaurants in the heart of Cannes nearby.

Fancy a coastal retreat? This home in Le Pradet overlooks the shoreline and mountain. Better yet, it's big enough to host full family holidays. The interior retains its 18th-century heritage with a glass roof and original accents, but you'll have to make do with four fans rather than air conditioning here. Enjoy barbecue cookouts on the terrace, with a swimming pool to come. A 300-metre stroll from the sands of Pin de Galles, you'll find restaurants and golf courses nearby.
