Lavish bedrooms guarantee a good night’s sleep, and the living space, complete with a wood-burning stove, is the ideal spot to hunker down in the colder months. Outside, you’ll find a terrace for meals in the sunshine. When you want to stretch your legs, a network of footpaths leads from the village, but if you fancy exploring further afield, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are less than a twenty-minute drive away.

Windrush Valley Hideaway

You’ll find this charming cottage in Lower Slaughter, providing an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the Cotswolds. Inside, the home is packed full of old school charm, but it’s the outdoor space that caught our eye. Vast lawns give way to pretty flowerbeds, and there are cosy seating areas to dine or simply kick back with a good book. Locally, there are plenty of walks to enjoy through Lower Slaughter that run along the River Eye, along with a village pub serving delicious meals. Within easy reach, you’ll also find Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford – all much deserving of a visit. 

The Cotswold Idyll

Escape to the country in this charming cottage. It’s tucked away just a five-minute walk from the centre of Burford and its cafes and pubs, yet feels a million miles away. It’s in a quiet and secluded spot that offers views of the millstream, a leafy garden, and the neighbouring woodland. This cosy home is a studio apartment so the bed is in the living and dining area, but it doesn’t feel cramped – and there’s a balcony to spread out on. We think this is a perfect choice for a romantic weekend away.

The Burford Beauty

Nestled in the pretty Cotswolds, this charming home is an excellent base for a countryside escape. It’s tucked behind a cottage garden on land that was once home to a large barn – now, it’s been converted into a collection of holiday homes. It’s bright and welcoming, boasting wonderful countryside views from inside and out – there’s a great garden to sit out in. You’ll be just a ten-minute walk from beautiful Burford, with its medieval bridge and old Cotswold stone houses. 

Sunny Glade

Situated in Bourton-on-the-Water, affectionately known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, this charming cottage promises a serene stay. With beams and sloping ceilings, there’s no denying this home’s character, but the addition of the conservatory and the contemporary style give it a modern twist. We love the sunny garden, just the spot for morning coffee. Location-wise, the village is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. Visit tea rooms or country pubs, stroll along the River Windrush, or surround yourself with nature at Birdland Park and Gardens, mere steps away – there’s something for everyone here. 

Cotswold Escape

Tucked away in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, this romantic bolthole is an escape for two. Inside, exposed beams and Cotswold stone set the tone for cosy evenings beside the log burner, while the petite but well-equipped kitchen and dining space are just right for long suppers and local wine. Step outside and you’re moments from the River Windrush, artisan delis, and picture-perfect bridges that have earned the village its nickname, the Venice of the Cotswolds. Spend the day exploring nearby walks and charming local spots, then return to your hideaway to unwind.


The Honeystone Den

Nestled between the postcard-perfect towns of Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold, this cottage makes exploring the Cotswolds a breeze. Scenic walks are on your doorstep, while the sleepy village of Fifield offers a slower pace of life without shops or conveniences. It's the perfect spot to unwind and take in the surrounding nature. The large garden has a table for alfresco lunching. Head inside and you'll find a comfortable living space with a working fireplace to make things extra cosy. Ideal for families, or couples on a quaint double date, this home has all the amenities and design touches you'd hope for in a country retreat. From stone walls and exposed beams to a courtyard garden and woodburning stove, you'll always feel comfortable and ready for adventure. A former Iron Age fort, Stow-on-the-Wold is particularly beautiful even by the standards of the Cotswolds, and has centuries of history for you to explore – not to mention charming tea shops, gastropubs, and independent sellers.

Stow Cottage

Enjoy all the quintessential Cotswold delights with a stay in this Stow-on-the-Wold bolthole. Built from traditional honey-coloured stone, this cosy cottage dates back 150 years, yet inside you'll find all the modern upgrades you'll need. The crackling wood-burner and snug living room make for a super-cosy hideaway – after a long day, there's nothing better than cuddling up with a book and a cup of tea on the squishy sofas. When the weather is nice, throw open the French doors and revel in the fresh air. We love the walled courtyard – perfect for a Pimm's fuelled garden party as the sun goes down – and the country-style kitchen makes self-catering a dream. There are board games, a DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker for rainy days and chilled evenings at home, but with a location this good, you'll want to spend every minute exploring. Located in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, you're just a short stroll away from a wealth of quaint tearooms, traditional pubs and local boutiques. Just be sure to pack comfortable shoes – the picturesque walks around the Cotswolds can't be missed. Country Tranquility

With its warm stone exterior, there's no mistaking what area of England this lovely Edwardian villa is in – it’s nestled in the popular Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water. We adore the fragrant, lavender-filled south-facing garden – it's the perfect spot for a sunny afternoon barbecue followed by a lavender martini. The level lawn is ideal for garden games too. The grounds here are a real highlight – there's even a beautiful pear tree flourishing at the front.

Inside, you'll find an array of character features such as the original quarry floor tiles in the hall, exposed stone walls, beams, decorative fireplaces and stained glass windows. There's a cosy snug as well as an elegant living room, so this place is ideal for families or friends looking to spread out a little. To top it all, there's parking for three cars in a private bay behind the house – a total bonus in such a central location.

When you feel like exploring this beautiful village, you'll discover its low bridges, pretty waterways and traditional stone houses. Or head to the Cotswold Motoring Museum, which has a variety of vintage cars and a toy collection. The nearest major supermarket is an eighteen-minute walk or a four-minute drive away, and there are some tempting bakeries for tasty pastries and bread. A Cotswold Sanctuary

This converted barn is a charming family-friendly home in the little village of Little Rissington. Outside, there is plenty of charm, with a garden to sip wine on summer evenings – fancy a barbecue? Your host can provide one between April and October. The interior is modern but characterful, with a practical kitchen and a log-burning fireplace to cosy up on cooler nights. Location-wise, the Cotswolds offers endless walking trails, and you’ll also find Bourton on the Water and Chipping Norton within easy driving distance.
