From the glistening infinity pool, admire sweeping panoramas across the pine-speckled coastline, out towards Maragos Island and over to the white sands of Megali Ammos beach below – a four-minute stroll from your doorstep.

A masterclass in indoor-outdoor living, this lavish home beckons you to unwind in the splendour of your surroundings. Upon entry, an open-plan living space instantly impresses with high ceilings and a contemporary design aesthetic. Here, floor-to-ceiling glass doors seamlessly blend the chic lounge and fully-equipped kitchen with the shaded dining terrace and infinity pool, creating an expansive canvas primed for entertaining. Upstairs, the state-of-the-art video games room, fitted with soundproofing and plush sofas, is sure to keep your clan entertained. 

We wouldn't blame you for never wanting to leave this pocket of paradise. Though, if you do fancy exploring, you're perfectly positioned to do so, with Skiathos town and port just a fourteen-minute walk away. After a day of adventure, enjoy an alfresco feast before heading upstairs to the balcony for an evening dip in the jacuzzi. Wine glass in hand, watch the sunset over the horizon before retreating to your sumptuous bedroom for a restful slumber.

Agape

Located in the Greek Pelion region, this cliffside villa is perfectly set up for groups of friends and families looking to get away from it all. You're surrounded by the dramatic landscape of the mountain, so there'll be nothing to disturb you here but the gentle breeze rustling through the old fir trees and lush vegetation, ensuring a relaxing, stress-free stay. 

At this particular villa, you're well catered for when it comes to inviting alfresco areas – including several poolside sun loungers, a hammock and a summer kitchen, as well as three veranda terraces with a dining table overlooking the beautiful sea views in the distance. When dinnertime beckons, enjoy one last dip in your private pool before grilling locally sourced produce on the barbecue and feasting together under the shaded pergola. 

On the ground floor, you'll immediately notice the high-end touch that's been given to the traditional space – from the modern fireplace to the wood-framed sofa, basket chairs and stylish decor. It's the ideal spot to flop down with a good book or a cup of Greek coffee. Upstairs, there are three comfortable bedrooms with original wood-beamed ceilings and even space for working from home. Combining natural materials with contemporary interiors, we think it's a lovely villa to call home for a while. 

Head out to explore and in addition to the small towns nearby, the nearest sandy beach of Paralia Platanidia, boasting crystal-clear waters and picturesque shores, is just twenty-five minutes away by car. 

Mainland Mist

Nestled away on the outskirts of the peaceful village of Glossa on the equally tranquil island of Skopelos, this newly built villa is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a rather relaxing place to take a break.

The terrace benefits from a sublime view of green hillsides, the sparkling Aegean Sea and a seemingly endless sky beyond that. Guests can enjoy this panorama from the comfort of a lounger, seated around tables or while cooling off in the swimming pool.

The plethora of large windows and doors means that it's even possible to gaze at the scenery from indoors. This also has the added perk of bringing in plentiful amounts of Sporades sunshine into the interior, which goes all too well with the honey-coloured walls and shiny tiled flooring. Bursts of colour come from the bold blue furnishings, the waterfall-themed artwork and an eye-catching mirror in the twin bedroom.

While it's possible to spend most of your time at the villa and be perfectly content, there are cafes and restaurants in the centre of Glossa about fifteen minutes' walk away, while Loutraki Beach sits a similar amount of time in the opposite direction.



Tip of the Tongue

This glorious holiday home is a masterpiece of stone and glass. Traditional-style stonework allows the villa to blend seamlessly into the natural beauty of its surroundings, while vast glass windows bring the outside in. Light pours into this modern soalr-powered home, as do views of the striking outside area. 

A magnificent pool is the focal point outside. With its adjoining hot tub and sun loungers poised on the water’s edge, it’s a fine place to spend your holiday. Swim laps or lie in the sun with a toe dipped in the cool water – it’s your holiday after all. In the evening, the pool is lit up. We recommend slipping into the hot tub as the sun starts to set – it’s a dreamy way to end a day. 

The turquoise sea is just beyond the garden, with a beach two minutes away. This means you’re well situated for beach bars and restaurants, and also for water sports. Pefkochori is just a fifteen-minute walk from the villa, but offers something for everyone, be it snorkelling, shopping or sipping a chilled glass of wine.


Solar Stone

A collection of three villas sitting atop a hilltop on the island of Skelopos, this address has a few aces up its sleeve. The first has to be the incredible 360-degree views, which take in the dazzlingly blue Aegean Sea, the village of Glossa and mountains covered in pine forests.

Thankfully, there are plenty of spots from which to enjoy this spectacular panorama, including a selection of covered terraces and the swimming pool in the middle of the outdoor space. You can even appreciate the scenery while indoors thanks to the large windows in each home. When you get around to giving it a closer look, you'll notice that the design throughout all three has a rustic charm, with wooden ceiling beams and earthy tones making for an atmosphere conducive to relaxation.

Although there's certainly an air of tranquillity at the address, it doesn't take too long to reach somewhere with a bit more life. The cafes and restaurants of Glossa take just over five minutes to reach in the car, while Loutraki Beach is a twelve-minute drive.




Terrapin Shell

Modern and bright, this Hanioti pad set on a vibrant resort has everything you need for a seaside getaway. The stylish kitchen makes it easy to rustle up Greek salads, the sleek living space is perfect for chilled out evenings in front of the fire and the comfortable bedrooms promise plenty of peace and relaxation. 

We also can't get enough of the patio. In the mornings, pad out there with a cup of coffee and wake up with the sun, followed by an afternoon swim in the private pool. Come dinnertime, fire up the barbecue for freshly grilled souvlaki and share a bottle of wine around the outdoor table. End the evening with a soak in the hot tub as the stars pop out. Also included on the resort is a small shared gym, on-site sauna and saltwater indoor swimming pool – whether you're in the mood to work out or prefer a bit of pampering, you'll be well looked after here. 

Location-wise, you're just a twenty-minute stroll from the sandy Blue Flag Hanioti Beach when you crave some a day on the sea. There are also restaurants, coffee shops, bars and independent boutiques to explore in town – many of which are within walking distance.

Dusky Morning

Perched right above the beautiful Toroneos Bay in Halkidiki, this stylish villa is the perfect getaway for two. Not only are panoramic views a given here, but with a private pool, breezy balcony and sunny terrace yours to enjoy, you'll be able to revel in the scenery morning, noon and night. The on-site restaurant means dinner is sorted, while the communal gym ensures you'll never miss a workout. And we can't forget about the exclusive beach just for resort residents. Private and serene, there's nothing better than laying on the sand and splashing in the waves on your very own stretch of the shore – sounds like the quintessential Grecian holiday to us.

Into the Silver Dawn

Views don’t get much better than these. This villa is perched on a sloping mountain, with Pagasitikos Bay spanning ahead. It’s a place to truly connect with nature, whether that’s by exploring on a mountain bike, savouring a coffee while taking in the view, or making lunch with your host’s homegrown vegetables and herbs. 

Having your own pool is one thing, but this hillside infinity pool is another thing entirely. Close the distance between you and the sea, swimming to the edge for unobstructed views. And on clear days (which really, is most days in Greece) you’ll see the dramatic mountains ahead, melting into the bay.

Let the hours pass by blissfully, swinging in the hammock, reading by the pool, or playing a game of cards on the patio, until dinnertime. Whip up homemade pizzas or Greek barbecued feasts with the outdoor stone baking oven.

There’s an authenticity to this home that isn’t apparent in all Greek villas. Inside, the cream walls and swaths of dark wood perfectly embody a traditional hillside home. It might not be the most luxurious, but it’s bursting with character. Embrace the authenticity and explore your location of Agios Vlasios, a small, ancient village, and other nearby towns. Despite being on a hillside, you’re never far from a beach – spend days on the soft, golden sands of the Pagasetic Gulf.

Strong Roots

Villa Perimeno

This delightful villa is part of a complex of eight homes in the beautiful village of Hanioti. There are shared facilities including a gym and indoor pool, but you’ll also have your own outdoor pool and garden to enjoy. The neighbouring villas are fairly close to this home so it’s not entirely private, but you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay in Greece. The best feature of this villa is undoubtedly the view – you’ll likely spend all of your time gazing out to sea here. If you can tear your gaze away, the nearest beach is just five minutes away. 

Luxury in the Hills

Laidback interiors, unfettered views and plenty of places to chill out ensure this villa on the eastern coast of Skiathos is a peaceful retreat for a small family or close-knit group of friends. Expect terracotta floors, light wood, white-washed walls and supremely comfortable beds that guarantee a blissful sleep night after night. Outside, there’s a sea-facing veranda that makes for a perfect sunbathing spot and a dining set-up for home-cooked dinners that last well into the evening. 

Mornings begin with a leisurely swim in the pool before reclining in the chill-out area with an iced coffee. When the temperature starts to rise, grab your beach essentials and stroll for 600 metres to Paralia Vasilias and watch the day slip away from a lounger. If you’re keen to do a little exploring, jump in the car and take the ten-minute drive into the heart of Skiathos town for a wander through the atmospheric streets and a bite to eat by the windless bay.

Horizon Haze

Perched on top of a verdant hillside in north Skopelos, this villa's incredible position brings with it many perks. The fact that the nearest neighbour is a kilometre away means that there's a deep sense of peace and tranquillity at the address, something you can really appreciate as you wander about the garden full of Mediterranean vegetation. As well as that, the elevation naturally leads to some superb views of the Aegean Sea.

However, the home doesn't rest on its laurels and it has enough amenities that it would still be a great getaway even if it was in the most unpromising of surroundings. The large swimming pool is sure to be the first of these to grab your attention, while a stroll about the outdoor space will reveal a choice of terraces plus a stone barbecue for grilling up some smoky flavours.

Heading inside, the design is a lot more contemporary than the rather traditional exterior lets on. White walls, floors and ceilings make for a blank canvas against which bold blue accents and other colourful touches really jump out. The kitchen with its breakfast bar is both large and sleek, while the balconies and covered terrace offer even more spaces to relax.

Although you could very easily never feel the need to leave the villa, there are distractions nearby should you fancy a change of scenery. Agios Ioannis beach is just under ten minutes away in the car, while the hilltop town of Glossa takes just over five minutes to reach and has a small collection of restaurants in case you want a night off cooking.
