Hidden behind high walls in the charming village of Giurdignano, this home is a serene sanctuary where Puglian tradition meets exotic riad style. The sun-drenched courtyard, with its shimmering pool, is made for slow mornings and long, candlelit evenings. Inside the timeless Italian character runs through every detail, from cool stone floors to warm, rustic finishes. Perfectly placed for exploring Salento’s beaches, historic towns, and rolling olive groves, this is a base for those who want to immerse themselves in the rhythm of southern Italy, while always having a peaceful retreat to return to.

The Sun's Halo

This renovated farmhouse offers a tasteful blend of rustic charm and high-end finishes with a timeless, understated elegance. Think checker tiles, star-vaulted ceilings, and exposed stonework. Divided into three independent units, this property is ideal for group trips with family or friends, with lots to keep you occupied on-site and in the near vicinity. Cook alfresco with the pizza oven, or shake up some cocktails in the bar area. Or, if you're keen to explore, you'll find the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic coast and tonnes of charming towns only a shore drive away. Needless to say, you'll be spoiled for choice at this impressively restored oasis in the Puglian countryside.

Puglian Farmhouse

Set among two hectares of olive groves near Ostuni, this home is built around century-old trulli structures – traditional stone dwellings that have been carefully restored and feel entirely at home in the Valle d'Itria landscape. The pool sits at the heart of outdoor life here, with a covered terrace alongside for shade when the afternoon heat peaks. Come evening, the panoramic roof terrace earns its place, looking out over the groves as the sun drops. The working olive grove, herb garden, fig trees, and pizza oven mean this is a place where you can eat well without going far.

Figs & Stone

Tucked away behind a bustling square in the historic heart Andrano, this beautifully restored home blends Mediterranean character with a decidedly style. Walk through the threshold to find an expansive ground floor featuring soaring vaulted ceilings, an open-plan living space, a Carrara marble kitchen, and a mezzanine study space watching over it all. The real highlight is the courtyard though – with its shady pool, cosy dining space and plentiful sunbathing spots. When you’re ready to explore, picturesque Andrano is right on your doorstep, or take a scenic drive to the coast – just ten minutes away.

The Andrano Courtyard

With direct access to the Adriatic sea via a staircase right outside your apartment, and a spectacular view of the Azure water from the spacious terrace, this three-bedroom home is an Italian dream come true. Cross the threshold and you’ll immediately see what we mean – it’s hard not to be drawn instantly to the terrace, where a large dining table and lounge suite beckon you in for an afternoon charcuterie board or evening cocktail. Inside, three bedrooms and two bathrooms await upstairs, while the lower floor promises a comfortable living room and a fully equipped kitchen. This is southern Italy at its finest – right on the water.

Azure Waterfront

This Italian home boasts a private roof terrace – perfect for soaking up the sun in the daytime and stargazing at night. You’ve also got an outdoor kitchen here so dining alfresco will be a breeze. Indoors you’ll find a comfortable lounge – check out that vaulted ceiling – a reading room, and kitchen and dining area. Location-wise, you’re in the historic centre of Matino, with its whitewashed buildings, winding streets, and picturesque courtyards. And if you fancy a day at the beach, it’s just a fifteen-minute drive away.

Grand Old Piazza

Perfect for a pair, this pocket-sized pearl is proof that good things come in small packages. Though the all-in-one layout won't suit everyone, it has all the basics you'll need to settle into Salento life. The kitchenette is compact but still fully functional for light bites, and there's a little grill outside for alfresco dining. And the biggest draw is the private plunge pool – ideal for afternoon dips. You'll find it tucked away on the grounds of a historic palazzo in Cannole, offering access to communal gardens and another shared pool. With Otranto, Leece, and other charming towns within driving distance, we think it's a hidden gem.

Cannole Pearl

This home is located in a rural spot, in the heart of Puglia. With comfortable loungers and an alfresco dining terrace, it’s well set up for lazy days around the pool. Inside centres around the open-plan living area, where you can throw open the doors to let the refreshing breeze in. To make your holiday even more memorable, your host can help arrange a variety of treats, including a personal chef to cook for you, and massage treatments. And if day trips are on the agenda, you’re a fourteen-minute drive from the walled city of Ostuni, with its white-washed old town, and panoramic coastal views.

Ivory Vista

Warm and welcoming, this apartment is a splendid base for exploring Lecce. It’s in a 1930s building in a lively, central street, close to shops, restaurants, and the city's historic sights. The age of the building means there’s no lift, but the original features are a decent pay-off for the stairs you’ll have to climb. We love the traditional kitchen, beautiful tiles, and the patio, where you can sip wine and relax after a day spent exploring the city.

Golden Lecce

Nestled within the picturesque cliffs of Castro, this home sits in perfect harmony with its environment.

From the sensory delights of the garden (lined with olive and myrtle trees) to the rustic stone and traditional features, you’ll find yourself transported to an immersive Italian escape – one that’s rich in life’s simple (and indulgent) pleasures.

Experience a wonderful sense of wellbeing whilst soaking in the jacuzzi, admire the sweeping views from the pool and spend lazy afternoons reading in the shade. From here, you’ll find it’s just a short (downhill) walk to the seafront and the nearest beach, while the pretty coastal towns of Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca are both within easy driving distance.

By evening, the garden beckons you to enjoy unforgettable sunset views with refreshing drinks in hand, while the pergola provides the perfect spot for delicious Italian meals.

Wonders of the Sea

Vaulted ceilings and original tiles underfoot are a nod to this 18th-century home’s former glory, and keep things naturally cool inside. Each bedroom has its own style and there’s a dedicated office room for those working remotely. But it’s the outdoor space that captivated us, with a big swimming pool carved from local stone and loads of comfortable places to catch the sun (or laze in the shade) on patios and terraces. This villa is in the centre of Diso, a historical Salento village two kilometres from the sea with a small shop and cafes within walking distance.

Majestic Haven

Switch off at this sun-soaked villa perched above the Itria Valley. From the private patios and pool, the views over olive groves and rolling hills are unforgettable. Inside, the living area is bright and welcoming, with a large dining table, lounge space, and fully equipped kitchen – perfect for gathering together for home-cooked meals. But our highlight is back outdoors. Here you’ll find a pizza oven, yoga platform, sauna and garden for days of slow outdoor living. Fancy exploring? You have Cisternino, Ostuni, and the beaches all within twenty minutes.
