You can enjoy the hillside vistas from inside this stylish apartment, too. Just take a look at the outlook from the dining table – meals here will be very special. What about the location? Compact yet bright and modern, this apartment suits a solo traveller, couple or small family seeking a peaceful stay a twenty-minute drive from Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. While the home is equipped with a kitchen, you won’t find an oven, only a hob. Fortunately, eateries are within walking distance if you fancy a feast. As the mezzanine bedroom is semi-open to the space below, we think the sofa bed is better suited for children if you stay as a group of four. Outside, there’s a private terrace with sweeping views of the landscape.

Gorgeous views of rolling hills and the Mediterranean? Count us in. The panorama can be enjoyed from the terrace (complete with an alfresco dining table and sun loungers) and the Jacuzzi, the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. With a full house, two guests will be on the sofa bed, and the only bathroom is the ensuite. But for families or a couple, the apartment is the perfect Sorrentine base. When it's time to explore, you'll find the coastal towns of Massa Lubrense and Sorrento a short drive away. And when you want to stay closer to home, you'll find plenty of eateries within walking distance.

Inside, tall windows ensure that the apartment is bright and welcoming, and the custom-designed flooring adds plenty of colour.

Sure, you’ll need to climb the spiral staircase to reach the rooftop terrace, but the vistas are worth it. Fancy a splash in the sea? There’s direct access here – just take the stairs down 200 metres. Ideal for extended families or a group of friends, the separate annexe also affords two guests a little extra privacy. Massa Lubrense is only two kilometres away when you fancy some Italian cuisine, and well worth a visit.
