This luxurious retreat is tucked away in a beautifully manicured garden – you can really unwind here. It’s on the coast of Piano di Sorrento and boasts wonderful views of the Gulf of Naples. The villa dates back to the 16th century, and inside you’ll find hints at its grand past – look out for frescoed ceilings and impressive artwork. There’s a pool to swim in, as well as a private spa with a sauna, Turkish bath, and relaxation area.

Away from the crowds yet perfectly positioned for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, this petite home packs plenty of character into a small space. It blends rustic charm with modern comforts like a well-appointed kitchen and communal gym. Meanwhile, the sun-kissed gardens, shaded patio, and rooftop terrace (all shared with the building's other guests) are inviting options for lazing and lounging. One slight downside is the sleeping space, which is located on a mezzanine level, so not the most private and perhaps a little snug. But we love this home as a launch pad for seeing more of the region’s captivating coastline – including Sorrento, which is just a short train ride away.

That said, it will suit a small family too, providing two people don’t mind sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. But for us, this home is all about the location. A mere three-minute stroll from Meta beach, you simply have to step outside and down the stairs that lead to the sea. Don’t fancy walking? There’s an elevator to take you down, too, that comes at a cost. After whiling away the hours on the coast, indulge in some authentic Italian cuisine before walking back home – sounds dreamy, doesn’t it?

This contemporary villa boasts a serene position on Italy’s southwestern coast. It’s an easy stroll to the beach and down town Sorrento is just a fifteen-minute walk away. You’ll also find a great restaurant nearby, but we imagine you’ll love dining at home thanks to the outdoor kitchen and barbecue. There’s also a private pool and plenty of lounging spots, while the cool interior makes it easy to switch off after a day in the sun. Each of the bedrooms has direct access to the garden and there are en-suite bathrooms – adding a wonderful sense of privacy.

Location-wise, you’ll find yourself within walking distance of local restaurants, bars, shops, and beaches, making this apartment the ideal base for exploring all that Sorrento has to offer.

The interiors are a little basic for our liking, but it's modern and there's a dedicated workspace. Plus, the freestanding tub is the perfect place to relax after busy days spent travelling.

Within walking distance of Sorrento’s waterside restaurants, bustling piazzas and independent shops, this villa is ideally placed for a memorable holiday in southern Italy. In the garden, you’ll find a dining area for enjoying homemade dishes seasoned with lemons from the grove. Granted, there isn’t a swimming pool here, but La Marinella Beach is less than a fifteen-minute walk away. Inside, it’s bright, well-appointed and comfortable. The sofa beds in the mezzanine bedrooms make this place ideal for families staying together.

This apartment is housed in a villa in the town of Sant’Agnello, on the border of Sorrento. You’ll be a short walk from the beach and the town square and well-placed for exploring the Sorrento coast. The private garden with a small heated pool and sunloungers is the perfect spot for soaking up the sun. The apartment is spread over two floors so there's plenty of room. Bedroom one opens straight into the garden, while bedrooms two and three have small balconies.

It's just across the street from the harbour, with a small balcony offering a fantastic vantage point to watch the boats come in and out. Sorrento centre is just two kilometres away, and many other towns like Positano and Naples can be reached via public transport. The highlight here has to be the private terrace, which offers a quiet spot to catch some rays from the sun loungers or enjoy an alfresco breakfast.

Location-wise, you're a bit further from the centre here but still within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and landmarks. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to Corso Italia and twenty to the harbour – with that in mind, we suggest packing comfortable shoes.

When you think of Positano, you imagine the incredible views. You may have seen the Instagram posts about everyone trying to find the perfect view for sunset. Well, they're wasting their time – the best view in the city comes from the gorgeous terrace of your villa. But unlike the other popular spots, this view is reserved solely for you. 

Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the dining table or lounging on the sun beds, you're perfectly placed to admire the colourful houses and blue stretch of the sea. Of course, the best views are when the orange hues of sunset blend into the deep blue shades of the water. 

If you wander inside the villa, you'll find whitewashed tones and a neutral colour palette. Splashes of bright art is dotted around the villa, lacing the interior with a cheery, upbeat vibe.

When you fancy stretching your legs, you're only three minutes away from the beach. Small and cosy, it's an idyllic spot to lay your towel and catch some gentle rays of the sun. 

Please do note - to access the villa it is necessary to climb approximately 80 steps, however for a home like this it's certainly worth it.

It's situated in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw from the coast, Piazza Tasso, and the city's bustling shops and eateries. Exploring on foot is a breeze here – a good thing, too, as parking isn't provided. As for the design back home, it has everything you'd want for a city break. There's a sleek (albeit somewhat small) kitchen, a modern living area with a sofa bed for the fifth guest, and a duo of bedrooms and bathrooms.

In charming Sant’Agnello, this apartment makes a great base for those keen to experience the quieter side of Sorrento. The atmosphere here is more laid-back, yet you'll still find plenty of restaurants within easy reach. Sorrento's beaches and town square are also just a twenty-minute stroll away. Back home, rest your feet in the breezy living area or snuggle up in the two comfortable bedrooms. We're also big fans of the private balcony. It's small, but it works well for sundowners – and you'll even have a slight view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius.

Sant'Agnello Azure

This minimalist flat in Sorrento is ideal for a couple or young family looking for somewhere quiet to return to after a day on the coast. You'll be exploring the many great dining options in town as there's no kitchen or dining table here, though the small terrace is ideal for a post-dinner nightcap. It's a studio, so there's not much privacy if you're travelling with a third guest – especially as the bathtub is in the living area. While it's not the most inspiring of locations, you're not too far out from the centre of Sorrento, and you're well-positioned to explore the rest of the peninsula.

Sorrento Seclusion

This contemporary apartment is nestled in the heart of Sorrento. Outside, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants, bars and shops. The nearest beach is a ten-minute walk away, while the close proximity to the bus and train station means it's easy to explore further afield. Back at home, you can watch the sun set while sipping drinks on the terrace. Both bedrooms have balcony access, while the main bedroom features an en-suite bathroom – adding a wonderful sense of privacy.
