When it’s time to cool off, Marina Grande is moments away for sea swims or make use of the shared pool at the nearby sister resort. If you're a group of six, it’s worth noting that two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the lounge – but for a home this well located, it’s a fair trade-off.

The home is perfect for families or small groups, with a master bedroom and a second bedroom on a mezzanine level overlooking the main space (where you'll also find a sofa bed). You're only a seven-minute walk from the closest beach, but your host also provides you with complimentary access to their resort pool and restaurant around 12 km away.

The apartment itself is cosy and the open-plan living space sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full occupancy. There’s a small balcony which overlooks the communal gardens and courtyard as well. You’ll also have access to one of the host’s resorts, which has a pool, but this is 10 kilometres away. This apartment offers a comfortable base for exploring this beautiful town.

Away from the crowds yet perfectly positioned for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, this petite home packs plenty of character into a small space. It blends rustic charm with modern comforts like a well-appointed kitchen and communal gym. Meanwhile, the sun-kissed gardens, shaded patio, and rooftop terrace (all shared with the building's other guests) are inviting options for lazing and lounging. One slight downside is the sleeping space, which is located on a mezzanine level, so not the most private and perhaps a little snug. But we love this home as a launch pad for seeing more of the region’s captivating coastline – including Sorrento, which is just a short train ride away.

Right by the coast, this cosy apartment is perfect for a couple's retreat. The bathtub in the living area takes some getting used to, but you can't deny that its panoramas are fantastic, especially the glimpse of Capri. In fact, the vistas from every room are stunning, though we think the small balcony takes the cake for the best viewpoint. After all, nothing beats a glass of wine, some fresh air, and a seaside sunset. Ready to explore? Make the short drive to Sorrento or venture 200 metres to the nearby rocky beach.

There are lots of stairs to climb here, including a spiral staircase in the home, steep steps in the terraced garden, and steps to the private beach, so it won’t suit everyone. Location-wise, you’re in the pretty village of Conca dei Marini with many picturesque coastal towns, including popular Amalfi, within easy driving distance.

Nestled within a lemon orchard, this stunning villa is practically hanging off the side of the Amalfi Coast. On the villa’s stepped terraces, the citrus scent of fresh lemons combines with sea salt as you enjoy uninterrupted views over the azure Tyrrhenian Sea. Walkways shaded by twisting grapevines, magenta bougainvillaea and wisteria bursting in purple clouds give way to panoramic views. You’ll find endless secluded spots for dining outdoors, or lounging in the sun. Inside, we were really taken by the hand-painted tiles in every room, bursting with blues, yellows and greens, and the hand-painted details like the decal in the shower, that feel distinctly Amalfi. Rather than facing the TV, the living room’s sofa points directly at the French windows and that incredible sea view and both main bedrooms have their own French windows for a view all to yourself. From the villa, it’s a short walk to the beach at the bottom of Maiori. Here, you can join the coastal walking path that links all the quintessentially Amalfi Coast villages. Or, head out in the car to the town of Amalfi, a fifteen-minute drive away.
