It’s a spectacular backdrop for relaxing in the jacuzzi or enjoying drinks and dinner on the terrace, before retiring to the comfortably elegant bedrooms. A short walk away, you’ll find the small town of Vico Equense (for shops, restaurants, and gelato spots). There’s also a station nearby where you can hop on a train to Sorrento (twenty minutes) and the start of the Amalfi Coast. But we wouldn’t blame you if you just stayed right where you are, admiring those heavenly views.

Inside this recently renovated apartment, French doors allow plenty of light in. Two of the double bedrooms have access to the main terrace, while the other double bedroom has doors to a smaller balcony, so you can walk straight out in the morning – how wonderful is that?

When you fancy exploring the area, it couldn’t be easier – the beautiful coastal town of Sorrento is a short drive away (it's also easily walkable if you prefer). Alternatively, have a wander around Sant'Agnello or bask on the sands of Spiaggia La Marinella, a short walk away. The train station is just 500 metres from this home, with services to Pompei, Ercolano and Naples, while buses link to many places of interest, including Paestum and the Royal Palace of Caserta.


Torrisi 

Nestled into the cliffs of postcard-perfect Positano, this villa delivers la dolce vita and then some. Inside, it’s all crisp white walls and pops of colour from patterned tiles and local ceramics – a subtle nod to the region’s artisanal traditions. Two bright bedrooms open onto the terrace, and there's a sofa bed for children or extra guests. You'll also catch a glimpse of Vesuvius in the distance – if coastal scenery is what you're after, this certainly delivers. Panoramas aside, the design inside is contemporary and comfortable. Both bedrooms boast en-suite bathrooms, while a small but well-formed kitchen has you covered for meals at home. Not in the mood to cook? A few restaurants are within walking distance, with plenty more to discover in nearby Sorrento.

Housed in a residential building, this sleek room offers a convenient hotel alternative for solo travellers or couples, equipped with everything needed for a fuss-free stay. Location-wise, you're in the heart of Sorrento, just a short walk from the beach. You'll also be within easy reach of the port, with restaurants and bars on your doorstep – handy, as this pad doesn't come with a kitchen. The interiors are a little basic for our liking, but it's modern and there's a dedicated workspace. Plus, the freestanding tub is the perfect place to relax after busy days spent travelling. 

Sunset Sorrento

Central, contemporary, and comfortable – this Sorrento apartment more than fits the bill. It's situated in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw from the coast, Piazza Tasso, and the city's bustling shops and eateries. Exploring on foot is a breeze here – a good thing, too, as parking isn't provided. As for the design back home, it has everything you'd want for a city break. There's a sleek (albeit somewhat small) kitchen, a modern living area with a sofa bed for the fifth guest, and a duo of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Enjoy a jolly stay in this colourful home, located in the very heart of Sorrento and close to the metro and bus station for easy adventuring. This home is ideal for a couple or solo traveller and boasts fun interiors with bright murals, funky furniture and arty decor that make it feel special and unique. We absolutely love the tiled splashback in the kitchen, and the vibrant feature wall in the bedroom – both give the home so much character.

You can start sunny mornings out on your balcony, soaking in views of the sea while you sip on your morning coffee. Come in to cook up some delicious Italian scrambled eggs, and eat together at your kitchen dining table. Head out to explore the restaurants and bars in the town, as well as the stunning beaches located just a short stroll away. When you return, cuddle up in your big cosy bed and get ready to do it all again the next day.

If a dip in the Tyrrhenian is in order, head to Peter’s Beach or stay closer to home and visit Spiaggia La Marinella – it’s only a short walk from your building.

Outside, you can stroll to restaurants, cafes and shops. It’s also a great base for exploring nearby Pompeii and the Amalfi coast.

Follow the views outside and down to the second apartment, where you’ll find an abundant garden inviting you to enjoy rejuvenating dips in the small heated pool, and heavenly afternoons gazing at the views from a sun lounger. Both apartments feature fully equipped kitchens and air-conditioned rooms – setting the tone for a bright and breezy stay by the Mediterranean sea. 

From here, it’s just a short walk to Colli di Fontanelle where you’ll find a small square with a market, gelato shop and bar. And for explorations further afield, the majestic streets of Sorrento and Positano are just a short drive away, while the coast is peppered with tiny beaches and coves.

Back home, rest your feet in the breezy living area or snuggle up in the two comfortable bedrooms. We're also big fans of the private balcony. It's small, but it works well for sundowners – and you'll even have a slight view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius.

It’s a short drive from Sorrento, with a path that leads directly from the villa to the village of Sant’Elia, through a beautiful valley. You’ll have everything you might need for a relaxing stay here, with a hot tub, private outdoor heated pool, and an alfresco dining space – your host can arrange for a chef to prepare Italian feasts. There’s also exercise equipment, should you fancy a work out – I think we'd prefer to unwind on a sun lounger, though.

The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area, just a couple of kilometres outside Sorrento. With easy access to the coast by car or public transport, the location is perfect for those who like to pick and choose when to enter the hustle and bustle of the neighbouring clifftop tourist towns. What the apartment lacks in kitchen facilities, it more than makes up for in proximity to delightful local cafes and family-run restaurants, plus dramatic views over the Gulf of Naples from nearby Piazzetta Marinella and its adjacent beach might persuade you to stay put. 

Elsewhere, the abundant charms of Positano, Praiano and Amalfi make for an alluring loop that shows off everything this iconic stretch of the Italian coast has to offer.
