This apartment is conveniently located for a short stay in Milan. It looks out over Piazza 5 Giornate, and is just a fifteen-minute walk from the Duomo. Nearby transport links make it easy to explore the rest of Milan, whether you’re interested in shopping the boutiques or taking in the history of the museums and galleries. With six guests staying here, two will sleep on a sofa bed in the living space. There’s a kitchen to cook in, but with so many great restaurants nearby, you can easily dine out for every meal.

Given that the second bedroom has a single bed (and a pullout underneath it), the flat would work particularly well for families visiting Milan, and the well-equipped kitchen makes family meals very doable.

The terrace, along with the vast windows, helps counter some smaller issues with Bredbeddle. As a whole, it’s a lovely flat – the white walls and brilliant light give it a sense of space and calm. As you step onto the balcony, it’s as if you’re no longer in the city, so intense is the green that greets you on all sides. You are, however, very much in the middle of the city, and there are lots of good places to eat nearby, which is important given that the kitchen is the biggest letdown in the place. It’s very small, and you wouldn’t want to do more than heating up a pot there.

The kitchen here is well set up for snacks and light bites, and for dinner, Porta Venezia’s vibrant restaurant scene has you covered. While the sofa bed in the living area can sleep a third guest, the only bathroom is accessed via the bedroom, so at full capacity, privacy would be limited. It’s also worth noting that children under 2 aren’t allowed here. We think this home is best suited to a couple or solo traveller wanting a vibrant place to stay with easy access to Milan’s must-sees.

It's where you'll find this no-frills apartment, situated just a short walk from tram stops and a metro station. There are desks in each bedroom if you plan to work from home, a sleek kitchen if you fancy rustling up dinner, and even a terrace where you can enjoy an alfresco aperitif.

We love the interiors of this apartment, which will suit a couple or solo traveller seeking a contemporary space to remote work or unwind in after a day of sightseeing. Location-wise, you’re within easy reach of Milan’s iconic galleries and landmarks, though you’ll also find Lima metro station a short walk away.

We don't think you'll find a more quintessentially Milanese address than this. Not only does the apartment sit on the seventh floor of the Galleria del Corso shopping arcade, but there's an impressive view to be had out through the windows of the iconic Duomo standing tall among the city rooftops. 

Rather fittingly for such a prestigious location, the interior is luxurious in style, with a wealth of wooden floors, mid-century furnishings and chic lighting. The svelte grey bathroom wouldn't look out of place in some of the city's most covetable hotels, while the kitchen has everything you need in case you want to take a night off from the local restaurants.

As well as a huge range of shops that sit a few floors beneath the home, there's an even larger collection in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, only six minutes' walk away. The Piazza del Duomo sits the same amount of time away, as does the Royal Palace.

The host is incredibly attentive, making sure you feel comfortable at all times, and knowledgeable enough to be an upmarket hotel concierge. The apartment is a short walk from the Quadrilatero della Moda, and while the surrounding area has mainly been offices, a blossoming bar scene is beginning to spring up. Besides, it’s just a fifteen-minute walk to the Duomo at the centre of Milan where there are more than enough bars, restaurants and shops to keep you busy.


Little Apple

Simple in style, this apartment is a comfortable and convenient base in Milan. It’s in Porta Venezia, one of Milan’s coolest neighbourhoods, with a wealth of restaurants nearby. You can stroll to the Duomo in just fifteen minutes, and there are excellent transport links – a tram departs for Central Station from just two minutes away. At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living and dining space. This is a practical home-from-home for a city break, with a kitchen to cook in and free wi-fi. 

Milano Style

Clean inside, and with a pared-back look, Brera’s Style is, in itself, a comfortable place to stay. It could do with a bit more going on in the kitchen, but at the moment it still works for light meals, or breakfast. Where the flat stands out though, in a very noticeable way, is its position. Right on the border of Brera and the Quadrilatero della Moda, and only a block away from the Scala opera house, you can’t get more central, or more quintessentially Milanese, than this.


Brera's Style

Walking through central Milan is not something we’d recommend doing in a hurry. You’ll constantly be stopping to admire the ornate architecture, ancient monuments, and some of the most impressive cathedrals in the world. Seven minutes from this city apartment, the pink marble Duomo di Milano awaits. And en route, you’ll pass more awe-inspiring sights such as the Teatro alla Scala and Manzoni House, both just two minutes from home. Now, where were we meant to be going again?

When you return after a long day exploring your magnificent surroundings, you’ll be greeted by a grand lobby. Strut upstairs via a red carpet set over glossy marble floors, with a rose-gold chandelier hanging above. As if you didn’t already feel like a VIP, your host can arrange for a private chef, flower deliveries, city tours, and drivers – all you have to do is ask.

In your apartment, glossy floors continue, but this time in elegant hardwood. Modern interiors dominate the space, with a plush corner sofa and glass dining table setting the 21st-century tone. We love the quirky use of red as the highlight colour in this otherwise understated palette. Cherry-red breakfast stools, wall prints, and a coffee machine harmonise in the kitchen – just in time for an espresso martini.

Whether you're in the city for business or pleasure, this apartment in Milan is perfectly located. You'll be just a ten-minute stroll from Piazza Duomo and San Babila, with great public transport links nearby for exploring further afield. The studio space won't be for everyone, but the thoughtful layout makes this a welcoming and comfortable spot to unwind. The design has even won the attention of Italian magazines.

The location of Maestro d’Argento, about as central as it gets in Milan, would be enough to go on by itself, but luckily Laura and her team haven’t stopped there. Everything in the flat is pretty high-end, quality that manifests itself in the comfortable furniture and the serious kitchen. It’s not especially jazzy when it comes to design, but that’s not necessarily the worst thing in the world, particularly for longer stays.

The position of Maestro d’Oro, almost as central as is possible in Milan, would be enough to go on by itself, but luckily, Laura and her team haven’t stopped there. It’s a lovely flat, with an enormous kitchen and living space. All the sofas are incredibly comfortable, and the bedrooms all get very dark at night, so encroaching light shouldn’t be much of an issue. The square outside – framed by the enormous windows – is quite busy, but the trees do a good job of blocking the view to the road below.

Plus, the famous Duomo is just a twenty-minute stroll away, so you're not far from the iconic sights.
