This compact home is located in Porta Venezia, known for its lively atmosphere. The kitchen here is well set up for snacks and light bites, and for dinner, Porta Venezia’s vibrant restaurant scene has you covered. While the sofa bed in the living area can sleep a third guest, the only bathroom is accessed via the bedroom, so at full capacity, privacy would be limited. It’s also worth noting that children under 2 aren’t allowed here. We think this home is best suited to a couple or solo traveller wanting a vibrant place to stay with easy access to Milan’s must-sees.

Tropical Vibes

Cumulonimbus shows an inherent understanding of how to combine the old and the new. The modern Foscarini lamps and the sleek kitchen contrast wonderfully with the tiled floors (parquet in other rooms) and the elegant cornices. Given that the second bedroom has a single bed (and a pullout underneath it), the flat would work particularly well for families visiting Milan, and the well-equipped kitchen makes family meals very doable.


Cumulonimbus

Tucked away in the vibrant Porta Venezia district, this apartment is an ideal base for a couple or small family, providing two people don’t mind sleeping on the sofa bed in the second bedroom. This room doubles as an office space, making remote work a breeze for those in the city on business. Locally, you’ll find shops, eateries and transport links to Milan’s hotspots all within easy reach – with that in mind, we’d leave the car behind and explore this beautiful city on foot for a true taste of all it offers. 

Milan Muse

This apartment puts you in the heart of Milan’s vibrant design district, where cutting-edge showrooms and stylish cafés set the scene. Inside, it’s minimal chic with a spacious kitchen-dining area and two living spaces – one of which can be transformed into a second bedroom with a sofa bed. Located in the basement, natural light is limited, but we think that’s a fair trade for such a central spot. You’ll be just steps from the Duomo, and the nearby metro will whisk you around the city in no time.

The Design Den

Boasting a wonderfully central location just a five-minute walk from the Duomo di Milano, this modern, welcoming apartment is ready to give you a stylish stay in one of the world’s most famous fashion capitals. 

Wood floors, a soothing neutral palette and chic contemporary furnishings create a sophisticated first impression in the large open-plan living area where white Italian leather sofas beckon some serious lounging over a glass of wine and a dining table waits to host sociable soirées. The four bedrooms, meanwhile, are pared-back yet effortlessly elegant ensuring you get a restful night’s sleep and there are desk spaces in two of them should you need to catch up on work. 

When it comes to sightseeing, make a beeline for the nearby Duomo or walk thirteen minutes to visit the Sforzesco Castle. You’re also just a fifteen-minute walk from the city’s famous Fashion District, while the Teatro alla Scala is nine minutes away on foot. 


Allegretto

Situated near the Porta Venezia district, one of the most exclusive areas of Milan, this apartment has a great address. You’ll be within walking distance of the Indro Montanelli Gardens, the cathedral and many more attractions. There is a diverse range of restaurants and shops surrounding this modern-styled apartment, too. The open-plan living space is flooded with natural light – it’s a great place to relax after a busy day. Thanks to its central location, this home offers the ideal base for friends, family or those on business looking to experience this vibrant city.

The Art of Milano	

Located just steps from Piazza San Babila and the iconic Milan Cathedral, this fuss-free apartment drops you into the heart of the city. Ideal as a base for families or friends, just bear in mind that at full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. There’s also no oven, but with a whole host of Italian eateries on your doorstep, who wants to be cooking anyway? Locally, you can reach plenty of sights on foot, or hop on the nearby metro for jaunts further afield. 

Milanese Magic

There’s an incredible amount of natural light in this chic, pared-back apartment that makes the whole space dazzle. With its floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides, the open-plan living area gives you privileged views across Milan’s rooftops and a living backdrop to admire from the comfort of the sofa or while enjoying a meal at the stylish round dining table. 

The two bedrooms, meanwhile, have a similarly modern aesthetic, with an en-suite main bedroom letting you wake up to more tall window views and a second bedroom equipped with a desk space should you need to catch up on work. 

You’ve also got access to a communal rooftop terrace – the ideal spot to take in sunset views of the Duomo di Milano over a celebratory Spritz before going out to sample the local restaurant scene. 

When it comes to sightseeing, you couldn’t ask for a more central location. The Duomo di Milano is a seven-minute walk away, the elegant ​​Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a five-minute stroll, the Teatro alla Scala is walkable in eight and the fashionable Quadrilatero della moda is four minutes away on foot.


Danza di Luce

The terrace, along with the vast windows, helps counter some smaller issues with Bredbeddle. As a whole, it’s a lovely flat – the white walls and brilliant light give it a sense of space and calm. As you step onto the balcony, it’s as if you’re no longer in the city, so intense is the green that greets you on all sides. You are, however, very much in the middle of the city, and there are lots of good places to eat nearby, which is important given that the kitchen is the biggest letdown in the place. It’s very small, and you wouldn’t want to do more than heating up a pot there.


Bredbeddle

The location of The Young Artist really sets it apart. It’s less than ten minutes on foot from the Duomo, but tucked away on a quiet street, hidden from the touristic throngs. The apartment’s light, bright colour scheme has been balanced with homely touches to create a warm environment – it’s a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing. There’s no better way to start your morning than with a rich espresso on the quiet balcony. On top of that, Lasija is a wonderful host, who’s always ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You’re two doors down from a café and a five-minute walk around the corner to bars and ristorantes. Take a quick ten-minute stroll to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II for a spot of shopping in the upscale boutiques or spend a relaxed afternoon in the Sempione Park, reached in just over twenty-five minutes by foot. We recommend grabbing a drink at the kiosk and enjoying the sunshine. 

The Young Artist

This home takes you on a journey through the historic beauty of Milan through to its current-day Modernism. Located in the charming Guastalla neighbourhood and moments from the 16th-Century Giardini della Guastalla, this charming apartment invites you to experience the rich culture of Milan.

There’s a light and calm ambience to this home that feels refreshing. From the sleek-styled kitchen, it’s the kind of space that inspires a sense of tranquillity, to the neutral-hued, open living room that opens out to a private terrace - you’ll feel spoilt by space and seclusion. And whether you’re spending mornings on the balcony with your Nespresso, or sinking into the jacuzzi bath after a long day of seeing the sights, it’s easy to feel at home here. 

Outside, you can wander with along the stylish streets to the Duomo, only a ten–minute walk away before stopping off at Zia Esterina Sorbillo for the ultimate, puffy-fried pizza fritta adorned with prosciutto and provola di bufala which will more than satisfy. Stop off at the Teatro alla Scalla before grabbing a seat at Camparino in Galleria for the Milanese aperitivo amongst the regulars.

Giardini Milano

Live the upper-class Milan lifestyle in this amazing home once owned by nobility, adorned in original pieces and artwork. Situated in a historical area of Milan, you have the great advantage of a large terrace with an incredible view of the Madonnina atop the Duomo – just a short ten-minutes from your door.

Start each day with breakfast and a cup of espresso under verdant foliage on the generous terrace, then get ready to go out using the dedicated vanity area.

Stop by the beautiful Duomo cathedral, or head to the Royal Palace – reachable by foot in twenty-one minutes. Or, why not treat yourself to a day of shopping at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade? 

On quiet or rainy days, curl up on the sofa with a good book, and enjoy the soft breeze through the French doors leading out onto the terrace. On a dry evening, we would love nothing more than to dine alfresco surrounded by the wild and fragrant gardens, catching our final glimpse of the Madonnina.
