Stroll through lively Porta Venezia to bars, restaurants and cafes. The nearest metro is also within walking distance – ensuring smooth connections with the rest of Milan. 

Muse of Milan 

Cumulonimbus shows an inherent understanding of how to combine the old and the new. The modern Foscarini lamps and the sleek kitchen contrast wonderfully with the tiled floors (parquet in other rooms) and the elegant cornices. Given that the second bedroom has a single bed (and a pullout underneath it), the flat would work particularly well for families visiting Milan, and the well-equipped kitchen makes family meals very doable.


Cumulonimbus

You'll find this contemporary apartment in buzzing Milan, but it takes design inspiration from all over the globe. The Scandi-style living room has hygge written all over it, making it perfect for relaxing or at-home working, and the Japanese bedroom is a characterful spot to end an exciting day exploring the city. Though it's snug, this apartment is super stylish – we loved the bright living area in particular, which has parquet flooring, quirky wall art and a sleek kitchen where you can whip up a tasty Italian feast. There's a real sense of peace here, which is a much-appreciated reprieve from the hustle and bustle nearby. You're not in central Milan, but this neighbourhood has its own charm and offers plenty of liveliness, with many bars, restaurants, cafes and gelaterias in walking distance. Plus, the famous Duomo is just a twenty-minute stroll away, so you're not far from the iconic sights.

Nuvola in Salotto

This apartment is located in the heart of Milan’s historic district, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The Duomo is just a short walk away, as are Teatro alla Scalo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where you can shop in the most exclusive boutiques. The apartment is a fuss-free home-from-home – you’ll have everything you need here, but the decor is simple. This home is a great choice for a couple or small family seeking a practical place to rest their heads.

Venture out to discover the best the city has to offer, right at your fingertips – with Milan’s famous pilazzos, piazzas and myriad cultural attractions within easy walking distance.

Gateway to Milan

There’s no need to hire a car for a stay in this apartment in Milan’s old town – most of the must-see sights can be reached on foot and there’s a Metro station a minute’s walk away. Located on the top floor of a historical building, you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below so it’s surprisingly quiet for a city centre pad. The minimalist decor here won’t be to everyone’s taste, but we love the mix of white walls and bold window frames. And the large roof terrace is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitivo before heading out for dinner at one of the many local restaurants.

The Art of Milan

Keeping its watchful eye over Milan, this sky-high apartment is ideally suited to a family or small group of friends looking for a peaceful escape in the heart of the city. Stylish whitewashed interiors complement antique pieces to add a homely touch, while marble bathrooms feel ultra-luxe. Look forward to vibrant breakfasts in the pristine kitchen and a digestif on the sink-in sofas. Quiet bedrooms open onto a private balcony, where views stretch from the Duomo to Torre Velasca and all the way to the Unicredit Tower. When you’re ready to explore, it’s a leisurely ten-minute stroll to the upscale boutiques of Via Monte Napoleone and twenty to Brera – a charming neighbourhood with quaint bistros and picturesque streets. Art lovers should make a beeline for Pinacoteca di Brera, a gallery housing Italian paintings from the 14th to the 20th centuries.

There’s an incredible amount of natural light in this chic, pared-back apartment that makes the whole space dazzle. With its floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides, the open-plan living area gives you privileged views across Milan’s rooftops and a living backdrop to admire from the comfort of the sofa or while enjoying a meal at the stylish round dining table. 

The two bedrooms, meanwhile, have a similarly modern aesthetic, with an en-suite main bedroom letting you wake up to more tall window views and a second bedroom equipped with a desk space should you need to catch up on work. 

You’ve also got access to a communal rooftop terrace – the ideal spot to take in sunset views of the Duomo di Milano over a celebratory Spritz before going out to sample the local restaurant scene. 

When it comes to sightseeing, you couldn’t ask for a more central location. The Duomo di Milano is a seven-minute walk away, the elegant ​​Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a five-minute stroll, the Teatro alla Scala is walkable in eight and the fashionable Quadrilatero della moda is four minutes away on foot.


Danza di Luce

First things first – you have to be completely aware of where Soft Rush is. If you’re hoping to stay in the shadow of the Duomo, you’ll be disappointed. However, it is pretty close to Linate airport, so it’s convenient if you’re flying in there (a taxi shouldn’t take much more than five minutes, traffic permitting). The flat itself is very nice, with huge ceilings, and a Japanese-style bed, with a futon on a traditional tatami mat. It’s all very open, but that gives it a sense of space, and the way that the living room opens out onto the terrace adds to the sensation.


Soft Rush

Located just steps from Piazza San Babila and the iconic Milan Cathedral, this fuss-free apartment drops you into the heart of the city. Ideal as a base for families or friends, just bear in mind that at full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. There’s also no oven, but with a whole host of Italian eateries on your doorstep, who wants to be cooking anyway? Locally, you can reach plenty of sights on foot, or hop on the nearby metro for jaunts further afield.
