Simple but central, this Milan apartment sits just steps away from the city’s iconic cathedral in the heart of Zone 1. The Fashion Capital’s high-end shops are within easy reach, as are a smattering of bars and restaurants – ideal given the kitchen here is rather basic. Those wanting a lived-in home will be better off elsewhere, but if you can look past the generic decor, you’ll find this place has plenty to offer, not least a private terrace with a hot tub for unwinding after a busy day of sightseeing.

Duomo Daydream

This contemporary apartment is ideal for fuss-free travellers. The design may not pack a punch, but it has all the essentials and is comfortable to boot. There's plenty of space to stretch out or cook together in the living area – just note that two guests will sleep on a sofa bed. But the biggest selling point is the location. You're in the heart of Milan here. A few steps away is the Corso Sempione, the Arco della Pace is walkable in fifteen minutes, and the iconic Duomo is just over twenty minutes by public transportation.

Sempione Simplicity

Simple yet stylish, this apartment is perfect for a city break. Its large windows look out over Piazza Gramsci, which is just a two-minute walk away. There are excellent public transport links, so exploring the rest of Milan is as easy as can be – and you’ll be within walking distance of attractions including Sempione Park and Castello Sforzesco. The apartment boasts a crisp, clean style and comes with all the necessities, including a well-equipped kitchen. With four guests staying here, two will sleep on a sofa bed in the living space – if you’re hoping for more space, we’d stick to a guest count of two. 

Milanese Sun

This welcoming apartment feels a million miles from the crowds of Milan, but it’s right in the heart of the city. You can walk to the Duomo in ten minutes and find plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. A cosy retreat, it’s perfect for a couple, with an open-plan living and dining space where you can relax in between sightseeing. There’s a small but functional kitchen and even a petite workspace – it’s on the mezzanine level above the bed. 

Cosy Milano

Situated right in the heart of Milan, with the iconic Duomo just minutes away, this studio apartment is all about location. Catch the lift to the second floor and cross the threshold to find a cosy space, filled with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay – a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom featuring a walk-in shower with a rainfall attachment, and a plush sofa that pulls out into a double bed. Venture out to discover the best the city has to offer, right at your fingertips – with Milan’s famous pilazzos, piazzas and myriad cultural attractions within easy walking distance.

Gateway to Milan

Cumulonimbus shows an inherent understanding of how to combine the old and the new. The modern Foscarini lamps and the sleek kitchen contrast wonderfully with the tiled floors (parquet in other rooms) and the elegant cornices. Given that the second bedroom has a single bed (and a pullout underneath it), the flat would work particularly well for families visiting Milan, and the well-equipped kitchen makes family meals very doable.


Cumulonimbus

Situated right in the heart of Milan, this three-storey townhouse is brimming with natural light and architectural atmosphere. Recently remodeled with a keen eye for detail, the interior details and thoughtful decor offers guests a truly special experience in the middle of this bustling city. Offering three bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, there’s plenty of home comforts too – but perhaps this home’s best feature is its location. It’s a ten-minute walk from Milan Cathedral and Sforzesco Castle, and there are plenty of Milanese cafes and restaurants to choose from in the immediate area.

An Eye for Design

This Milanese apartment is located just five minutes from Arco della Pace and beautiful Sempione Park. You’ll be able to see the sights of Milan with no trouble at all, thanks to great transport links – there are metro, tram, and bus options just a stone’s throw from the apartment. When you’re not out soaking up everything the city has to offer, you’ll love calling this loft home. There’s an indoor pool and sauna that make downtime as relaxing as can be, and the decor is modern and cool – though those with a fear of heights may not enjoy the glass flooring. 


Milan Magic

The use of marble in Sorbetto is a masterstroke. It cools down the air, providing respite from the hot, dry Milanese summers, as well as giving it a sense of brightness and clarity. There’s also a decent balcony, which might not be huge but looks out into the trees beside the house and adds to the feeling of calm. It is, however, important to be aware that Sorbetto isn’t very central. It’s well-connected by the metro, but getting anywhere on foot will take at least half an hour.

Sorbetto

Sleek and elegant, this Milanese apartment is the perfect choice for a couple’s getaway. Sure, the lift only takes you part of the way up to this fifth-floor pad, but the remaining stairs are worth the effort. Step through the door and you’ll be drawn to the private terrace –  a bonus being this high up, just mind your head on those beautiful beams and sloping ceilings as you make a beeline for the sunny spot. Keen on a trip out? Take a two-minute walk to the Santa Maria delle Grazie, where Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" was painted.

Milanese Flair

Modern, bright and wonderfully central, this apartment in Milan’s elegant Brera neighbourhood is just the ticket for those looking to make the most out of the city’s most iconic sights. 

Wood floors, bright white walls and a chic, minimalist aesthetic create an inviting welcome from the moment you walk through the door, with ample natural light shining through the large windows. We love the architectural details here – like the living room’s wall niche and the in-built shelves with their books and ornaments – creating a calm flow in this main space. 

Mornings call for espressos and locally bought pastries at the sunny kitchen table, while the bedrooms invite a blissful night’s sleep in their comfortable beds. You’ll love waking up to Milan rooftops views from your fourth-floor position and being able to see the city’s countless sights up close thanks to your prime locale.

Speaking of sightseeing, you’re just a five-minute walk from Milan's swish Fashion District, a thirteen-minute stroll from Sforzesco Castle, while the iconic Duomo is fourteen minutes away on foot. 


Naturalezza

Chances are if you’re in Milan you have an interest in design – it is the world design capital after all. Well if you do, this apartment is for you. Located on the first floor of a 1920s block, it's been recently revamped by Palomba Serafini Associati studio. Original features such as high ceilings, stuccoes and radiators have been maintained and paired with contemporary furniture, LED site specific art-chandelier, and limited-edition statement artworks. The overall effect is just stunning. There are other more practical highlights – a 24-hour concierge service accessed by scanning a QR code is probably our favourite. Located right next to Corso Buenos Aires, this vibrant area of the city (central north-east) is a mere steps from the central station and within easy reach of the sights. Overall, this home delivers style and substance for both holidaymakers and business travellers.
