With its location just moments from the Spanish Steps, this apartment is hard to beat. It can't get more central than this – you'll be within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese, and countless eateries. After a long day on your feet, you'll appreciate the indoor Jacuzzi waiting for you back home. The overall design is contemporary and chic, featuring open-concept bathrooms that ooze luxury (though privacy is, of course, limited). Travelling as a group of six? Upon request, two guests can kip on single beds in the living area, but we think this home is best for four.

Spagna Relaxation

Located at the heart of vibrant San Lorenzo, this apartment is perfectly placed for exploring historic Rome. You’ve got must-sees like the Colosseum within walking distance, and for adventures further afield, Roma Termini train station is a fifteen-minute stroll away. While the kitchen here is small, it’s well-equipped. And with a choice of restaurants on the doorstep, you certainly won’t go hungry. We think this home is a great base for a fuss-free city break.

Roman Refinement

With elegant views overlooking the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, this central apartment is within convenient walking distance of some of Rome's most sought-after restaurants and landmarks. Modern home comforts feature through the home's contemporary designs, including a jacuzzi bathtub and a work-from-home station – allowing you to strike a balance between business with relaxation. Meanwhile, the small balcony offers an extra finishing touch and a scenic spot to enjoy your morning coffee. While the hotspots of Rome are within walking distance, if you're arriving from other cities by car, reach out to the host, as you may be able to reserve a private parking spot here too. 



A Roman Reign

With the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and even the Roman Forum all within walking distance, this four-bedroom apartment couldn’t be in a better spot for sightseeing. You’ll be right in the heart of historic Rome, but it’s not just the location we love about this home. The apartment is bright and spacious, spread over two floors at the top of a charming old building. There’s plenty of space to spread out, including a well-appointed kitchen and separate dining room, plus a living area that opens onto a sunny terrace (a real treat in the centre of the city). The only downside is there’s no lift, however being up high means you’re rewarded with glorious views of the Roman rooftops.

Eternal City Sky

This apartment is a comfortable and practical space in the Italian capital. Though slightly outside the historical centre, getting around is a breeze thanks to nearby public transport. If you fancy stretching your legs, you can also walk to the Colosseum in thirty minutes. Back home, the fuss-free living space and functional kitchen have everything you need to settle in. There's also a desk in the main bedroom, ideal for digital nomads. Just note that two guests will sleep on the sofa bed.

Roman Living

This cosy apartment in San Lorenzo is perfect for couples looking to explore Rome. That said, it can sleep up to four guests – but two will draw the short straw and be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. It’s also worth noting that the bedroom is on a mezzanine level, so at full occupancy, privacy is limited. With a stripped-back, fuss-free style, it may not be to everyone’s taste, but with easy access to public transport, it’s ideal for exploring the city. 

The Roman Nights

Housed in a Roman palazzo of high and mighty proportions, from the outside, this place is everything you'd imagine your Italian bolthole to be. Step inside, and the home has been beautifully reimagined for modern living with sleek, polished lines and a monochrome palette providing the perfect juxtaposition to the ornate grandeur outside.

Roll out of the king-sized bed and pad over to the glamourous kitchen area to fire up the coffee machine as you hatch plans for the day ahead. There are all the gadgets going to rustle up a bite to eat, but with coffee bars bursting at the seams in the streets below, you might rather grab breakfast on the go.

Get off to a flying start exploring the city at the Colosseum –⁠ the entrance is just a four-minute walk from your door (best seen early in the mornings to beat the crowds). And when it's time to cast your net further into the city, the metro is just steps from your door (one minute to be exact) –⁠  though we doubt you'll need it. Take your pick from the other must-see sights reachable on foot - the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain are less than a half-an-hour stroll away. 

Hungry Lions

Step into the Art Nouveau sunroom of this period apartment and just soak up its vintage style and warm character. Surrounded by extraordinary windows – some frosted for privacy, others with stained glass – along with huge houseplants and antique furnishings, it's a striking space. Read on the sofa or linger over coffee at the dining table in the morning light. Overlooking a lush garden, it's certainly the highlight of the home. But there's plenty more to love about this place. Small, but perfectly functional, the kitchen leads to a hallway and a snug TV room with its own dining table. The pretty master bedroom is beautifully decorated, with plenty of storage and a desk, while the ensuite second bedroom has its own desk and a fabulous tiled floor. There's even the option of adding a cot if you're travelling as a family. With such easy access around the city from this spot, you'll be surprised how peaceful and quiet it is – yet it's surrounded by excellent shops and restaurants and it's just a fifteen-minute walk from the Colosseum.

Through Frosted Glass

With a bright living area and a cool industrial design, this apartment is perfect for groups. Three comfortable bedrooms and a double sofa bed ensure there's enough space for everyone – we can easily imagine family breakfasts in the kitchen before setting off on a Roman adventure. All the essentials are covered, too, from air conditioning to kitchen appliances. Plus, the location right by Termini train station makes zipping around the city centre a breeze. You can also walk to the Colosseum, less than thirty minutes away.

Ivory & Brick

Situated right around the corner from the iconic Colosseum, this three-bedroom apartment is the ideal spot for families and groups seeking the best that Rome has to offer. In the morning, enjoy your coffee out on the balcony, where you can feel the bustly atmosphere of the Eternal City emanate from the streets. While the decor and furniture can feel a bit dated in parts, the true highlight of this home is its stellar location – with the Colosseum and the Roman Forum just down the road, you can’t go far wrong in this home.

Splendour in Rome

If you’re after a smart bolthole set slightly back from the hustle of Rome's centre, this San Giovanni district apartment is a strong contender. The city’s sights, including the Basilica San Giovanni, are still within walking distance. But it’s just as easy to hop on the Metro (200 metres away on foot) – or ask your host to arrange a chauffeur for you, if you’d rather travel in style. A home best suited to close-knit friends or a small family, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the lounge. That said, the two bathrooms are a welcome bonus to speed along your mornings. As is the small but sunny balcony – the perfect spot for morning coffees or aperitivos. 

Giovanni's Place

Calling all music lovers, this small but unique apartment is for you. Decorated with a musical theme and equipped with instruments, you can spend days exploring Rome and evenings making music. It's located just outside the centre of Rome, in a quiet neighbourhood between the lively Pigneto and San Lorenzo districts that offer a taste of local life with flea markets, authentic restaurants, and live music venues. Central Rome is easily reached by tram or bus, with the iconic Colosseum only thirty minutes from your door.
