Simply put, Paparazzi is stylish, well-kept and right in the middle of Rome. Domenico is incredibly attentive as a host, and always ready to help, and while there are a few issues that we found, the majority were unavoidable given the age and positioning of the building (fairly slow wi-fi, for example), and the positives far outweigh the negatives.

With its contemporary style full of sleek furnishings and decor, this is slice of modern living in an especially ancient part of Rome. Find yourselves right in the thick of the action as soon as you leave your door, with the Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori close by, and the iconic Pantheon just down the street.

The Duchess is a comfortable place with lots going for it, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t start with that view. A city like Rome is full of views, but even so, this one is special, and the terrace itself is beautiful, with the furniture, the awning and the flowers all around (in summer, at least).
