Inside, modern comfort meets Italian elegance with large leather sofas, herringbone wood floors and a stunning coffered ceiling in the living room. Of course, the piece de resistance is the windows here, offering unobstructed views of the piazza. Snuggle up on the sofa with your morning coffee while feasting on the vistas, then head out to see the city’s other iconic sights. The Colosseum is just a ten-minute walk away, while the Trevi Fountain is just eight minutes away on foot. After a day of sightseeing, come back home for a luxurious shower before sitting down to a meal in your dining area as you watch the sunset from your picture windows. Alternatively, head back out to sample Rome’s famous food scene, then return to your swish flat for a serene night’s sleep in your comfortable, minimalist bedroom. 


Caput Mundi

Step into the world of a local Roman in this home in Trastevere's desirable Orto Botanico neighbourhood. The Botanical Garden of Rome, the Gallerie Nazionali di Arte Antica and the Ponte Sisto are a short walk away. You'll also find plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. So that's the location – what about the apartment? Well, first of all, there's a courtyard garden, perfect for a glass of wine after all that sightseeing. We also love that the main bedroom opens out onto the patio and that both bedrooms are en-suite. The second bedroom has a desk, too, if you need to catch up on emails while in Rome. This home is ideal for leisure or business travellers.

Roman Rhythm

The location of this apartment is great. It’s just a short walk from the Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Cavour, home to Italy’s Supreme Court. You can also visit the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, which are also within walking distance. There’s a range of eateries in the locale, too, for when you want a rest from sightseeing. The bright open-plan living space back at this apartment also sleeps guests five and six on a comfy sofa bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite, while bedroom two has a small double bed. Your hosts are really helpful here as well – they can arrange a variety of services for you to make your stay in Rome super special.

Roman Elegant

Simply put, Paparazzi is stylish, well-kept and right in the middle of Rome. Domenico is incredibly attentive as a host, and always ready to help, and while there are a few issues that we found, the majority were unavoidable given the age and positioning of the building (fairly slow wi-fi, for example), and the positives far outweigh the negatives. The apartment has been redone recently and you can really tell, particularly in the bathrooms, which feel very modern and sleek.


Paparazzi

When in Rome, you’ll want a magnifico base for your adventure, and this apartment provides just that. Located in an elegant area of the Eternal City, it offers a bellissimo blend of convenience and comfort. You’ll be just minutes from the Spanish Steps, famous shopping streets, and the metro, making it easy to explore Rome’s iconic landmarks. The apartment blends antique charm with modern design, creating a homely feel with an Italian flair. Plus, the stunning views over the city will make your stay even more magical.

Magnificent Place

Escape to your own Roman rooftop haven in Prati – just minutes from the bustling city, yet blissfully away from the crowds. Inside, chevron floors, a stone fireplace, and a stylish mix of period and contemporary furniture set a warm, refined tone. The light-filled living and dining space flows out to a balcony boasting postcard views of St. Peter’s. Not to be left out, the master bedroom also has its own private balcony with panoramic views. But the true showstopper? A sprawling rooftop terrace with 360-degree views over Rome’s most iconic landmarks. Get ready to fire up the barbecue, gather around the table, and toast the sunset in unforgettable style. With its sky-high setting, this is a Roman escape like no other.

Vatican Views

The terraces of this beautiful apartment overlook Piazza Navona, a lively square of gothic architecture and a neoclassical fountain at its heart. Cafés and restaurants spill onto the pavement and you can watch the street artists from your nest on high. It’s a real suntrap too, so loungers have been set up alongside the dining table and outdoor sofa. Inside, terracotta tiles and high ceilings create a cooling escape from the city heat, and houseplants stand out against pristine white walls. A little 60s-style bar in the living room is the best place to knock up an evening cocktail as you put your favourite song on the wireless speaker.  Don’t worry about navigating your way to the Pantheon (a five-minute stroll) or the Roman Forum and Colosseum (a fifteen-minute walk) as the host provides a smartphone with unlimited international calls and internet, so you can stream maps and call a taxi without any hassle. 

Neptune's Eye

Since 1869, the Campo de' Fiori has been a hub of market trading for fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers. And by evening, this charming square becomes a hub of alfresco dining spots and wine bars. With that in mind, this studio apartment is pretty convenient, at less than a minute away. But if you want to keep busy rather than relaxing with a glass of chianti, you’ll find palaces, museums, and statues all around – such as the Museo di Scultura Antica Giovanni Barracco, two minutes away. However, we feel that this home is somewhat of a landmark itself. As you step inside, you can help but be taken aback by the striking timber ceiling. These thick, rustic beams ooze old-world Italy, transporting you back in time. But with modern twists from minimalist furniture and quirky artworks, there’s an elegant clash of eras which makes this studio feel unique. We love the luxe touches like the marble kitchen sink and bathroom, although your host can provide an even better VIP experience. After being picked up by your private driver from the airport, you might fancy taking up their offer of a wine tasting tour or ride on a classic Vespa.

Il Legname

Base yourself in Monti, one of Rome's coolest neighbourhoods. You'll be within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, and many independent eateries, putting you within easy reach of all Rome has to offer. The apartment is bright and cosy. Design-wise, it's a bit eclectic, but it's welcoming. There's also a sofa bed for two. That said, the highlight is the balcony and its sweeping views. Just sit back with a coffee or a glass of wine and take in the panoramas of the historic city centre.

Colosseum Sunset

With the Vatican just a ten-minute stroll away, homes in Rome don’t get much more central than this. Located in the upscale Prati district – known for its shopping – you’ll find traditional trattorias, modern pizzerias, and an array of bars nearby. And for exploring the rest of the city, Lepanto Metro station is a short walk away. The home itself is located in a 1930s building, complete with an original Art Deco entrance hall, overlooking an inner courtyard. We love the mix of period features and contemporary decor here. We think this city pad is a great choice for anyone wanting a quieter base with easy access to Rome’s must-see sights.

Prati Escape

Staying in this apartment allows you to experience the authentic charms of Rome. It’s right in the heart of Porta Portese, home to the most famous vintage market in Italy, and is located between Trastevere and Testaccio. The apartment is housed in a quiet residential complex, perfect for unwinding in between seeing the sights of Rome – we especially love the balcony. At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living space. Your host can provide concierge services to ensure your stay goes without a hitch. 

Vintage Roma

Ever wondered what it would be like to wake up in the Vatican City? This apartment is very nearly a dream come true – it's located just across the road from Saint Peter's Dome and within strolling distance of most of Rome’s top sights. Inside, it’s bright, homey and practical, with enough space to settle in for a cosy evening after a busy day out and about. We especially like the balcony off one of the bedrooms – perfect for a morning espresso.
