Base yourself along the Sardinian coast at this smart apartment set in the authentic port town of Olbia. While the sea-facing balcony overlooking the island of Tavolara and the Gulf of Olbia is impressive, it's important to note that this home has no kitchen or living area. But with the best of Olbia's restaurants just a short walk away for the freshest seafood imaginable, we suspect you'll eat out a lot anyway. And there's an all-important coffee pod machine to kick-start your day. Fancy a beach day? There are miles of uncrowded sandy coves just a short drive up the coast.

Olive Breeze

Find peace and serenity on the shores of Sardinia with a stay in this home. You’ll be treated to stunning views from the terrace and there’s a barbecue for alfresco dining, while the rooms make it easy to switch off and unwind. There’s no swimming pool here, but you will have an outdoor shower to cool-off and the beach is just 300 metres away. You could spend blissful days relaxing at home or adventure along the coast. Parking is available and it’s just a short drive to the nearest amenities in Aglientu and Vignola.  



 The Love Sea

If you want to get some diving done while you’re in Sardinia, this could be the perfect base for you. This villa is in Santa Teresa di Gallura, just 450 metres from Baia Santa Reparata, a beach known for its colourful seabeds. You can also easily hop on a boat trip to explore La Maddalena Archipelago. When you’re on terra firma, you’ll enjoy the outside space here – the private pool and shaded terrace are where we’d be spending most of our time. Some of the decor is a little dated, but there’s also plenty of charm here – you’ll need to pay for bedding and towels though. 

Apples & Oranges

This home boasts an envy-inducing setting in Capo Ferro, one of Porto Cervo’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. From its hilltop position, it boasts remarkable views of the Mediterranean Sea, tempting guests to travel the 1.5 miles to the marina for boat trips along the coast. Inside, the villa is elegant and comfortable. We love the outdoor kitchen, and the porch for drinking in the views after a dip in the private pool. 

Stroll on the Beach

Look forward to sun, sea, and sightseeing when you stay at this villa in Sardinia. It’s situated close to Valledoria, where you’ll find wide sandy beaches, and puts you in a great spot for discovering the north of this idyllic island. When you’re not busy exploring, unwind beside the sunny pool or enjoy a memorable meal on the patio, before retiring inside to relax. The rooms are set over the main villa and a separate annexe, each with its own living area and kitchen, so there’s ample space for families and groups of friends to get comfy.

Enchanting Meadow Retreat

Tucked into the foothills of the Sardinian mountains, this farmhouse estate feels blissfully remote – yet the white sands of Marinella Beach are just a six-kilometre drive away. Made up of two separate homes set 50 metres apart and sharing nearly two acres of gardens, it's prime for two families holidaying together. Each house has its own kitchen, dining, and living space, giving everyone space to spill out. But when it’s time to get together, the private pool is the perfect gathering spot to soak up those distant sea and mountain views. And don’t get us started on the vistas at sunset – that’s a memory made right there.

It’s definitely a spot that calls for your attention, be it for a croissant breakfast or an indulgent evening meal. Feel the blissful sun on your skin, while relaxing on the sun loungers, after a dip in the pool. Or get set off to explore the island —with Porto-Vecchio just a ten-minute drive away, plus lots of biking and hiking trails nearby, there truly is something for everyone. Not to mention, you’ll only be 3km from the beach! 

Coconut Suncream

Sitting on a hill overlooking the beautiful coastline of Sardinia, this home is a hidden gem full of home comforts and with a sensational sense of outdoor living. The obvious highlight is, of course, that view – the azure water is visible from multiple corners of the home, a constant reminder that you’re in a paradisal spot next to the Tyrhennian Sea. While the bedrooms and kitchen can feel a little dated in parts, it’s all made up for with this incredible location, topped off by that brilliant vista.

Azura Bliss

As if sat on the very edge of the world, this villa is in a slice of countryside and coastline that sings Sardinia’s highest praises. Gaze out at the endless sun, sea and sky from the comfort of a sun lounger. When the heat gets too much, slip into the turquoise pool, or find shade under the covered terrace. The island’s rugged hillsides loom behind the terracotta-roofed home, painting a picture of idyllic Sicillian life. Though the kitchen, living and dining area indoors has everything you need, an outdoor kitchenette with a built-in barbecue, terrace seating, and an outdoor sofa mean alfresco living is at the forefront of this home. Bagging one of the ground floor bedrooms means immediate garden access, with everything pointing to the inviting pool. If you prefer your water saline and fringed with soft sand, head down to your local beach, or drive to the harbourside shops and restaurants of Porto Rotondo or Olbia. 

Saltwater Seafront

Blooming bougainvillea frames the stunning views this Sardinian home has to offer. It’s a romantic home set in the hills above Costa Smeralda, with plenty of room for a large group. The outside space is dreamy, with lush gardens and a huge veranda – though the swimming pool is shared with the other guests on the development. You’ll need to pay for your bed and bath linens – or bring your own – and we think hiring a car is a good idea if you want to get out to see more of north east Sardinia – and with these sea views, you'll be dying to hit the beach.

Bougainvillea Kiss

If you want to feel like you’ve stepped into the Garden of Eden, this villa’s for you. This dreamy home has three terraces with alfresco dining tables and stunning views – not to mention the private pool. The lush gardens are full of olive trees, myrtle bushes and prickly pears, with plenty of cosy corners for romantic moments away from the group. The interiors are a little rustic, but let's face it, you're not travelling to Sardinia to sit inside. The best part is the remarkable location on an exclusive peninsula that looks out over the Maddalena archipelago. Stroll to the beach in minutes, or better yet, head out by boat. 

Feels Like Paradise

This comfortable home is just a short walk from the beach in La Ciaccia, making it the perfect base for a coastal adventure. While the interiors are nothing special (it's function over style), the highlight of this home is the two terraces. Upstairs, the bedrooms have direct access to a balcony, offering an extension of living space with sea views – you might prefer to be outside, as there's an extra fee for the air conditioning. Meanwhile, on the ground floor, the larger patio area has a barbecue and dining area for alfresco meals. If you don't fancy cooking, there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance – if you're looking for more amenities, we recommend visiting nearby Castelsardo, named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
