What a fantastic setting this beachfront villa has. You can admire the stunning sea and mountain views from the terrace and shared garden. The sunsets are nothing short of magical, and the vistas can be seen from the open-plan living space, too. This room also sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full occupancy. We love the fact that you can wake up to the soothing sound of the waves here. Another highlight is that this home is just 100 metres from the seafront. Or drive over to Favignana – this island, just off the coast of Sicily, is waiting to be explored.

Beachfront Paradise

Set in a large Mediterranean garden facing the sea, this villa is ideal for families and friends looking to get away from it all. We love the views from the terrace, and there’s an outdoor kitchen and a private swimming pool too. The villa consists of two separate homes, either side of a patio. The first, which has vistas of the garden and beyond, has an open-plan living room which has a sofa bed that sleeps two guests at full occupancy. The second has two bedrooms. This home is situated in Favignana, the largest of the Egadi Islands, a small archipelago off the western coast of Sicily. Renowned for its rugged coastline, you’ll be just 1 kilometre from the beach. 

Mediterranean Island Retreat

Experience the magic of Sicily from this charming whitewashed villa. located on the east coast between the seaside towns of Trapani and Marsala, the spacious pad has a private swimming pool, rooftop terrace and relaxation room equipped with a hot tub and sauna. You'll have no trouble letting your worries slip away when you arrive here, especially when you get a look at those spectacular views.

While away hours poolside, admiring the verdant garden and listening to the chorus of cicadas around you. When you feel your appetite building, whip up lunch in the characterful kitchen – complete with wooden beams and cooling tiled floors – to enjoy alfresco. Prefer to leave the cooking to the pros? Your host is happy to arrange for private chefs to come by and prepare something special.

You're well positioned to discover the best of the island. The closest beach is just a nine-minute drive away, and if you fancy a day trip to Palermo, it's an hour and a half from this villa. Wind your way through the luscious countryside en route, and return home in time to watch the sunset from your rooftop.

Ready to head out and explore? It’s a short distance to the beach of Lido Signorino, or hop in the car for a trip to Marsala, six kilometres away, where authentic Italian eateries and shops await.

Positioned in the heart of Trapani, next to the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, and boasting a beautifully equipped rooftop terrace, it offers sweeping vistas across the city's skyline and out to the endless blue of the Mediterranean Sea. Awaken from restful slumbers face to face with the cathedral's majestic tiled dome and sip your morning espresso from one of the best seats in the city.

This home's location is second to none, within walking distance of the historic centre and the beach. Despite its central location, it feels delightfully tucked away, perched on the third and fourth floors and providing plenty of room for groups to kick back and relax. The villa is surrounded by peaceful Sicilian countryside that you can explore on foot or by bike, and the nearest beach at Seccagrande is a five-minute drive by car. There are historic sites and towns to explore, and tennis and golf facilities nearby too (if you can drag yourself away from the sun loungers). But relaxation is the name of the game. The villa is a great place to unwind with friends or family (it sleep up to six) and the outside space is perfect for lazy dining.

You’ll be ideally located for exploring all the best beaches of Favignana, where you’ll find dramatic white cliffs next to breathtaking turquoise seas. You’re also a short drive from Corso, a pretty and provincial Italian town where you can explore quaint streets of classical architecture.

This home is split between two self-contained apartments, so it’s ideal for families or friends. The upper apartment has a fantastic outlook from the living room (which also sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full occupancy). Below this, the basement home has a great kitchen, but there’s no formal living space – all of the bedrooms have a seating area, though. Another major highlight is the location, of course. Situated on Favignana, part of the Egadi Islands, you’ll discover stunning beaches.

Your host can also arrange spa treatments – ensuring your stay is elevated to the height of relaxation. 

For explorations beyond this rural hideaway, you’ll find it’s just a short drive to the historic town of Trapani, while the beautiful beach of San Vito Lo Capo is also within easy reach. 

Music of the Heart

Located in the pretty coastal town of Marsala, this stylish villa is ideally situated for exploring all of the sandy beaches, ancient ruins and wineries of Sicily's west coast. Boasting a gorgeous garden, you couldn't ask for a better spot to soak up the Sicilian sunshine. Start your days with a refreshing swim in the private pool, then make yourself a coffee and enjoy the shade of the patio for a while. If you fancy a chill day at home, you have plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas and comfy sofas to relax on. 

We highly recommend you take some time to explore the local area, too. The centre of Marsala is full of great wine bars and restaurants, making it perfect for a bite to eat and a relaxing afternoon sampling some of the local produce. There are also some beautiful beaches here, meaning you have the best of both worlds on your doorstep. 

When you get home, it's time to get creative on the barbecue and try recreating some of your favourite Italian dishes. Dine alfresco beneath the pergola then unwind with a few games of table tennis in the garden. 

Sicily & the Sea

A short drive from central Terrasini on Siciliy's northern coast, this sleek one-storey villa set upon sprawling grounds is perfect for two couples or a family who can't choose between beach and city. Glass walls and French windows soak the living area in sunlight, while the small pool offers the appearance of entering the home. The garden has plenty of space for kids to play and adults to relax, with its day bed, hammock, alfresco dining spots and mountain views.
