We love the amazing Mediterranean Sea views from this villa's roof terrace, patios and infinity pool. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset. There are more sea views to enjoy from the large and stylish open-plan living space, too. Please note, there are some steps down to this room. This home has a great location as well. It’s 3 kilometres from the nearest sandy beach and the historical town centre of Sciacca with its many cafes, restaurants and shops.

Seashore View

Located on the outskirts of Mazara del Vallo town, this villa offers an enviable location less than two kilometres from the beach. We’d recommend renting a car to get around, as you’ll be able to access the centre of town, the coast and a selection of local bars and eateries in less than ten minutes. The house itself boasts a luxurious feel thanks to an array of amenities, some of the stand-out features being the private pool, outdoor kitchen and Jacuzzi bathtub. 

The Summer Garden

Chic and modern, this villa is an ideal base for friends or family on a Sicilian retreat. Set over two non-connecting floors, both have living, dining and kitchen areas, so it’s a fantastic choice for people who like to holiday together, yet still enjoy some privacy. Step outdoors, and you can take advantage of the sun-kissed terraces, a Mediterranean garden and a swimming pool that’s shared with the owners, who live in another villa on-site. Ready to head out and explore? It’s a short distance to the beach of Lido Signorino, or hop in the car for a trip to Marsala, six kilometres away, where authentic Italian eateries and shops await. 

Sicilian Sweet Treat

Found on arid hilltops in the South of Sicily, the ancient ruins of eight Greek temples still stand strong in the Valley of the Temples and have long been thought of as an archeological wonder. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Valley might require you to stay a while – it’ll take at least three hours to explore – but it’s well worth it to glimpse a period in time where Agrigento was the Greek Akragas. 

About a ten-minute drive away from these 2500-year-old ruins, you’ll come home to this beautiful villa in which you’re encouraged to do as much, or as little, as you please. Start your day off by enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book out on the sun terrace found to the side of the house. From here you’ll be able to admire in the views, take a little bit of me-time, and plot the day whilst the rest of the house comes to life. Preparing breakfast can be done in the very generous kitchen before moving outside to dine alfresco, but the loggia has a small setup of its own if you’d prefer to breathe in the fresh, Mediterranean air whilst working. 

Take advantage of the pool as often as possible and find the jacuzzi among the rocks. Lounge, barbecue, and stroll around the beautiful estate whenever you’re not indoors appreciating the sheer size of the space. With enough room for everyone to roam, this home is more than a base from which to discover Sicily, it’s a little oasis.

But, when you do go out to explore, there’s a beach to drive to in under fifteen minutes, and Atenea boat hire will get you out on the open water. 

Terracotta Palms

Find peace and relaxation on the shores of Sicily with a stay in the coastal retreat. There are beautiful sea views from the private pool and terrace. You’ll have a barbecue for alfresco dining and plenty of shaded spots for relaxing afternoon siestas. Inside, all of the bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms for optimum privacy and there’s space to stretch out and socialise. Your host is on hand to help organise a range of special extras – including massage treatments and private chefs. Plus, it’s just a short drive to the coastal town of Sciacca, while the nearest beaches are also within easy reach.

Moon of Love

 This lovely family home can be found in Selinunte, a charming historic town in the south west of Sicily. Here, you have everything you need for a fantastic getaway – sandy beaches, piazzas with restaurants, bars and shops, and a delightful villa set amid an orchard and lush garden. 

The villa is bright and comfortable. Large windows in the living room let light flood into the house, adding splashes of the garden’s green tones to the colourful palette. The bedrooms lead out onto balconies, so you can begin your day by breathing in the balmy air and admiring the views. 

This villa benefits from a countryside location, so the views are lush and green, stretching over the grounds to the rolling rural landscape beyond. You can spot the sea in the distance – the nearest sandy beach is just twelve minutes away. After a morning splashing in the surf, drive to the Selinunte Archaeological Park to take in the incredible Greek ruins. 

For real R&R, head out to the villa’s pool – on a hot day, the water is so inviting. After a dip, lie out in the sun and revel in the peace and quiet. The outside space is a haven of flowers and trees, so all you’ll hear is the faint hum of insects and the water lapping the edge of the pool.  


Phoenix Dream

Set within acres and acres of olive groves, this villa is all about Sicily’s peace and quiet. If you do want to catch a bit of the island’s buzz and stock up on supplies, the historic town of Castelvetrano is a short drive away. But this place is all about the tranquil life, floating in the huge, turquoise swimming pool or enjoying a long, lazy lounge thanks to the full outdoor kitchen. There are plenty of shaded spots with comfy seating dotted around the grounds. 

The villa is set out courtyard-style, all on one level (except for one little turret) with white buildings clustered around the pool terrace. Bedrooms, living rooms and dining areas have their own entrances onto the terrace. Inside, we love the old-world feel of the place with its sloped, wooden ceilings in the bedrooms and Persian rugs in the living room. Furniture feels like it belongs to a 19th-century aristocrat. There’s a big wood-burning stove in the dine-in kitchen, though we doubt you’ll need it in the heat of spring, autumn and summer. All in all, this place feels like you’ve got your own castle in the Sicilian countryside. 

A Violin for Violet

Sitting on 20 acres of land dedicated to producing olive oil, this 19th-century farmhouse offers several outdoor living areas to unwind and take in the natural surroundings. With a large garden and a private swimming pool looking out to panoramic sea views, it's easy to slow down and relax here. Inside, the villa is bright and welcoming with traditional Italian features creating a warm ambience. Location-wise, the home is situated near many tourist attractions, including the Greek Temples of Agrigento and the Cathedral of Salt in Realmonte. Sicily's most beautiful bays and beaches are also within easy driving distance. 

The Blue Opal

This sun-soaked villa is perched on the edge of the Torre Salsa nature reserve, surrounded by wild beauty and sweeping sea views. Spacious terraces invite long, lazy meals and sunset aperitivi, while the private pool offers the perfect spot to cool off. The interiors are bright and welcoming, with stylish touches and all the comforts of home. With two kitchens and multiple living areas, it’s ideal for groups who want room to relax. At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed. However, with such stunning surroundings, you won’t be spending much time indoors. This is Sicily at its most serene.

 Sicilian Perch

This fabulous villa on spectacular Sicily is fit for royalty. With plenty of space both inside and out, and fabulous vistas across the island, it's the perfect place to spend some time in the sunshine. 

It's surrounded by a luscious Mediterranean garden, which fills the air with the scent of blooming flowers. The ultra-contemporary interior has been recently renovated, and the large windows frame the epic views outside. You'll find plenty of sun loungers, and there are two pergolas so everyone can enjoy some shade when they need it. And, best of all, there's a fabulous swimming pool where you can cool off on hot days – take a dip before tucking into a delicious alfresco lunch. 

A fifteen-minute drive will bring you down to Capo Bianco Beach, a mesmerising spot with white sand and crystal clear water. Agrigento is thirty-five minutes away by car, where you'll find ancient temples and a historic old town. And, if you head inland, you can visit rustic villages or do some hiking through the striking landscapes.

Sicilian Princess

Set within lush gardens filled with fragrant orange and olive trees, this villa is a Mediterranean retreat with a touch of bohemian charm. Floaty linen curtains, antique-style furniture and raw plaster walls create a breezy, soulful atmosphere. Each bedroom opens onto the garden and has its own ensuite with a glass-walled shower. Outside, life slows down around the pool, with shaded spots for lounging and long alfresco meals. And when you’re ready to explore, Selinunte – one of Europe’s largest ancient Greek sites – plus a stretch of sandy beaches, are just a fifteen-minute drive away.

Sicilian Garden Sanctuary

Here on Sicily’s western coast, a short drive away from the ancient port town of Marsala, the sea is sparkling blue and the buildings are sun-kissed. The honey-hued old streets of Mazara del Vallo, where you’ll find this charming apartment, are no exception. From your front door you can explore the old town’s seafood restaurants and buzzing trattoria on foot or by complimentary bicycle.

Inside the apartment, it’s a refreshing palette of crisp white and the blues of the sea. Beachy touches are a reminder of your coastal location, like the teal sofa and fish-themed wall art. But it’s the terrace that really sings out, inviting you to laze the day away on a boho sofa made from reclaimed palettes, shaded in the heat of the day. It’s a delight to sit at the bistro table with a cold drink or a coffee from the Lavazza coffee machine, a green wall of pot plants by your side.
