Should you wish to get off the grounds for a day, the baroque city of Noto is a thirty five minute drive away, while Syracuse on the eastern coast can be reached in under an hour.

For a memorable day trip, we highly recommend making the eight-kilometre drive into Ispica – a beautiful Baroque city where many Italians flock for its grand Holy Week processions.

Plus, children’s amenities can be arranged on request and well-behaved pets are welcome with prior approval from the host. You will need to bring your own essentials, but it’s just a 5-kilometre drive to the nearest amenities in Rosolini, while the nearest beaches are just 15 kilometres away. 

Moon of Peace

Twenty-five minutes by car from Noto, where sights like the 18th-century Nicolaci Palace are sure to catch your eye, this countryside abode gives you a different taste of history. Take a forty-five-minute stroll into the nearest town of Rosolini, pick up some local wines, fresh Italian fare, and hunker down for the long haul – you won’t want to leave this villa in any hurry. 

Surrounded by natural groves of olive and almond trees, the rural setting of this home paves the way for its traditional elements. Its interiors feature gorgeous barn-style, wooden doors, an alcove fireplace, vintage furnishings, and a country kitchen with a wood-burning oven.
