One of our favourite things about this home is that it's close to public transport – giving you the chance to dive deeper into Sicily. Step out onto the balcony to watch the bustling streets below and have a front–row seat to the daily lives of the locals.

This cozy apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway to Italy, and this central location means you can treat yourself to authentic wines and delicious Italian cuisine for date night. Visit gorgeous art museums or head to the shopping district to find gifts for your loved ones back home.

Evenings can be spent snuggled up in front of the TV, with the moonlight pouring in through the balcony door. Notice the streets below become quieter as the day draws to a close, and drift away ready for another day of adventuring.

Centre of Light

Nestled inside a tranquil community on the slopes of Mount Etna, this handsome villa makes for a great place to base yourself while visiting this part of Sicily. Just a short drive from Taormina and the surrounding beaches, you’ll be well-connected while at the same time enjoying the perks of the home’s rural setting. We are particularly impressed by the outdoor areas, which feature a pool set amidst a landscape garden and plenty of space for catching the rays and enjoying alfresco feasts. The views are also pretty stunning and can be enjoyed both from inside and from the garden and terrace. 

The Blue Hills

Situated on the east coast of Sicily, this villa is just a stroll away from the Ionian Sea. Offering breathtaking views of Mount Etna, this is a nature lover's paradise, with easy access to the Cyclops Riviera, Taormina, and Catania. The garden is the perfect place to sit back and relax and comes with a private Jacuzzi and patio for alfresco dining. The garden gate leads down to the sea, so you couldn’t be any closer to the ocean. If you’re looking for a sandy beach, however, you’ll find one just fifteen kilometres away.


Coastline Chic

Italy's tallest mountain and one of the oldest volcanoes in all of Europe, being at the foot of Mount Etna will be a treat for those in love with the great outdoors. Head out on excursions, and jeep tours, or hop on a cable car for the best possible views. The Lungomare di Ognina beach is perfect for walks along the coast with perfect views of the sunset, and there'll be no shortage of days out with villages and towns like Catania and San Giovanni Li Cuti just a short drive from your doorstep.

At the Feet of Giants

Beach lovers will be blown away by this incredible Italian villa, based in the heart of the Nebrodi mountain range, and surrounded by 15 hectares of private land. Made up of two separate villas connected by a courtyard with a gorgeous private pool, this home offers large groups lots of room to enjoy both social celebrations and solitary bliss. Inside features simple Italian style, with touches of charming decor that make every space feel characterful and inviting. We love the large dining area, ideal for feasting on pizza and pasta with your loved ones.

Go on a wander around the grounds and you’ll come across the home’s private woods and lake – the perfect place to have a stroll in the shade of the lush treetops when the Italian heat turns up. Summer evenings can be spent sipping on Prosecco while you take the short 400m walk down to your own private pebble beach, where you’ll find your own beach chairs where you can relax and watch the sunset.

When you want to venture out, Nebrodi National Park offers wonderful walks and hikes, while nearby Caronia Marina boasts plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars.

Prosecco on the Pebbles

Situated in the ancient town of Riposto, in the shadow of Mount Etna, this compact apartment enjoys the benefits of a private garden which offers stunning sea views. You’ll be able to enjoy your meals out here,  and later, you can stroll directly to the water’s edge. Due to its size, we think this home is best suited for couples or a small family – note that there’s a second apartment in the building so privacy might be compromised at times. 

Sultry Sunsets

For a central Taormina apartment, look no further. This bright and cheerful home is right in the centre of Taormina, just a few steps from the main street. You can spend your days exploring medieval churches, shops, and restaurants, all right on your doorstep. Best of all, when you return to the apartment you’ll be able to drink in wonderful sea views from the terrace. Sip cocktails in the sunshine as you watch the world pass by, three floors below. Given its central location, you might want to pack earplugs – you’re in the thick of things here. 


Scenic Spirit

On its perch in the hillsides of Mount Etna fringing the bucolic town of Randazzo, you’ll find this elegant manor house bringing all the old Sicilian vibes you’re chasing.

Climb the showstopping steps to the entrance and step inside this carefully restored home. A glorious mish-mash of old and new, original ceramic floor tiles and lofty beams remain to tell of its historical past. While sleek, marble-clad bathrooms and a made-for-action kitchen are firmly in the 21st Century. 

Groups of friends or extended family will love the separate annex housing a sitting room, kitchen, and two bedrooms for that added sense of space. But it’s the gardens outside impressing us the most. With large terraces hugged by citrus groves, tiers of dry-stone walls, and Sicilian hills beyond, the views out here look good from every angle. Spend lazy, hazy days hopping between the heated pool and tasteful sun loungers. Get together for Mediterranean alfresco feasts under the shady veranda. And then slope away to that outdoor antique daybed – it’s got siestas written all over it.

When it’s time to dip your toes into the local culture, the nearby medieval town of Randazzo (a five-kilometre drive) is an afternoon well spent. For something a little more glitzy, mingle with the high-rollers down at the chic resort town of Taormina (40-kilometre drive). Or pack up a picnic and head for the silky sands of Giardini Naxos – the scenic 30-kilometre journey is worth the drive alone.

Bellissimi!

Situated in the heart of Catania’s historic centre, this penthouse apartment featuring pops of red, yellow and lime green greets its guests with a cheerful welcome. Dark accents in the living space add a touch of moodiness while the funky patterned wallpaper in the bathroom is sure to put a smile on your face each morning. 

Enjoy a traditional breakfast on the terrace accompanied with views of Mount Etna before heading back inside to plan your itinerary – will you begin with a trip to the famous Piazza del Duomo (reached in ten minutes by foot) or the 13th century Castello Ursino? Once sightseeing becomes hungry work, make a beeline for the seafood restaurants that surround the raucous Catania Fish Market. On days when you fancy expending a little more energy, the Salto del Cane hiking area is a forty-five-minute drive away.

Sweet Pea Petal

Perched just seconds away from the dazzling Ionian Sea and vast sandy shores of Agnone Bagni's beach, it's easy to see the lure of this newly built apartment fringing Sicily's baroque town of Augusta.

Spend lazy days on the quiet sandy shores of this lowkey seaside resort – it's all the coastal Sicily vibes you're chasing with its white sands, and straw parasols and deckchairs to hire. And when it's time for a spot of culture, zip over to Augusta (a twenty-minute drive) to explore the medieval Old Town's wander-worthy lanes. Perched on an island connected to the mainland by two bridges and overlooked by the mighty 800-year-old castle, Il Castello Svevo, it's an afternoon well spent.

Back at home, while the minimalist décor of this apartment isn't going to win any awards, you'll love the fresh, uplifting feel and clean, uncluttered spaces. Grab a glass of something crisp and head out on the balconies leading off both the living room and bedroom. And if you fancy a change of scene, there's always the communal garden and built-in barbecue area downstairs – a great place to meet your neighbours and pick up some tips on what's hot in Sicily.
