For a central Taormina apartment, look no further. This bright and cheerful home is right in the centre of Taormina, just a few steps from the main street. You can spend your days exploring medieval churches, shops, and restaurants, all right on your doorstep. Best of all, when you return to the apartment you’ll be able to drink in wonderful sea views from the terrace. Sip cocktails in the sunshine as you watch the world pass by, three floors below. Given its central location, you might want to pack earplugs – you’re in the thick of things here. 


Scenic Spirit

This historic home, which dates back to 1900, enjoys both the tranquillity of its residential setting and close proximity to Taormina's centre and its many sights. A short ride on the cable car will also take you to the beach. Spread across two floors, you’ll need to climb some stairs here, but once upstairs you’ll be rewarded with stunning views from the two private terraces. There’s enough space here for a large family or a group of friends, and the place is also well-equipped to accommodate children. Pop open a bottle of Marsala and relax on the terrace, taking in the views of the bay. 

The Sun Bay

Situated on the picturesque hillside of Capo d`Orlando, this elegant villa provides the perfect base from which to immerse yourself in the scenery of Sicily. 

Enjoy panoramic sea views and the changing skies from your own terrace, where you can see the Aeolians Islands on the horizon and witness spectacular Mediterranean sunsets. Spend your mornings eating brunch and sipping coffee under the shade of the pergola, or planning the day ahead from the comfort of the swinging egg chair. 

With the beautiful San Gregorio beach a short drive away, there's plenty of sand and sea on offer if you consider yourself a child of the ocean. Explore the coves, dip your toes in the water or head to the marina for a bite to eat. If you fancy something more adventurous, try trekking the Nebrodi mountains, where waterfalls and rich vegetation await.

Sunsets in Sicily

With its classic interiors and garden full of olive trees, this villa is a taste of Sicily. There's room for everyone with two traditional sitting rooms, dining rooms, and an outdoor dining area. Right in the heart of the picturesque hillside village of Viagrande, it's a 30-minute drive from the dramatic coastline of Aci Trezza and Aci Castello and the charming city of Catania. After a day exploring fishing villages and local markets, come home to unwind in the private saltwater infinity pool and dine alfresco under the olive trees – sampling a Sicilian wine, of course.

Golden & Regal

This apartment offers the best of both worlds in Sicily – a spectacular vista while still being right in the thick of things. It’s situated in the heart of Taormina, so there won’t be any shortages of things to do – restaurants, bars and arancini vendors abound here. The apartment itself boasts a small terrace, perfect for admiring the surroundings with a cold beverage in hand. And while the kitchen is on the smaller side – and two guests will be sleeping next to it, with a small divider separating the two spaces – the views and location more than make up for it here.

Just a short drive from Taormina and the surrounding beaches, you’ll be well-connected while at the same time enjoying the perks of the home’s rural setting. We are particularly impressed by the outdoor areas, which feature a pool set amidst a landscape garden and plenty of space for catching the rays and enjoying alfresco feasts. The views are also pretty stunning and can be enjoyed both from inside and from the garden and terrace. 

The Blue Hills

With its mesmerising views and contemporary design, this home will captivate you from the moment of arrival. Outside, leisurely days can be spent relaxing by the private pool. There is also a terrace with a barbecue and plenty of spots to sit back and gaze at the horizon. Housekeeping is included in your stay and you will receive a welcome basket with breakfast items for your first day. Your host can also help organise a range of sweet extras – including private chefs and airport transfers. It’s worth noting you will need a car to get around here, but it’s just 4 kilometres to Giardini Naxos beach, while the centre of Taormina is 7 kilometres away. 

Mystical Retreat

A convenient base for exploring Sicily's east coast, the villa is perfect for sightseeing. It's only a few minutes by car to the beaches in Giardini Naxos, while the hilltop town of Taormina is less than 10 kilometres away. Even back home, you can enjoy the idyllic setting – head up to the rooftop terrace and you'll be treated to panoramic views of Mount Etna. Plus, with a seasonal pool, three comfortable bedrooms, and the ability to bring small pets for a fee, it's no wonder this home ticks all our boxes.

Etna Enchanted

On the coast of the Ionian Sea, the ancient city of Taormina sits in Sicily’s eastern region – a place where dramatic shorelines, bustling towns, and luxurious homes live in harmony. At the curve of this striking bay, Isola Bella Beach is the most beautiful spot for a picnic on the sands while you admire the scenery. But just an eighteen-minute walk from here, we know of an even better viewpoint.

This home is a true example of luxury. While the exterior looks like a monument of old-world Italy that you might see in the guidebook, this castle-like, stone tower is your apartment. Set over three lofty levels, the elegant, modern interiors are only made more tasteful by the generous welcome hamper from your host. Full of local goodies, you can take something out to nibble while you explore your new surroundings.

You can’t help but immediately be drawn to the panoramic balcony and roof terrace. Views out to Isola Bella are simply unmatched, especially when you’re perched on the tower’s ramparts with a glass of Sicilian wine, reclining on a sun lounger, or soaking in the outdoor hot tub under the stars.

Upon the Ramparts

This luxury villa is all about relaxation and restoration with its own wellness area, hot tub, swimming pool, and Turkish bath. And, with views over the sea, private terraces aplenty, and enough space for the entire family, it makes a great choice for group trips. Keen to explore? No worries – hop in the car and you'll find quaint villages, seaside towns, and beaches all just a short drive away. Not to mention, there's a restaurant just 700 metres from the door. 

The Sicilian Seaside Retreat

This luxurious villa is a stunning base in east Sicily. It’s just above the seaside town of Letojanni and is close to Taormina, with beaches nearby. The villa boasts truly glorious views over the Ionian Sea and Taormina, which can be admired from inside as well as outside, thanks to floor-to-ceiling sliding French doors. Inside, the decor is crisp and clean, and you’ll find everything you need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay. There’s even a gym and a sauna. Outside, the infinity pool is the main focus – aside from the views. The pool has a hydromassage area, and there’s a separate Jacuzzi. We love the alfresco dining area – there’s a barbecue to cook on too.
