Just four minutes from the Ponte Vecchio on foot, this home's location alone is enough reason for us to praise it to the skies. It sits along a steep, cobbled street in the heart of Florence's historic centre and boasts proximity to all the main sights on foot. You couldn't ask for a better location, less than a twenty-minute stroll from the Duomo and the famous Piazzale Michelangelo viewpoint and even closer to the Pitti Palace's museums and gardens. 

The interior is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between authentic charm and contemporary comfort. We especially love the open-plan living space, primed for relaxation with a compact yet equipped kitchen, a large dining table, a cosy lounge and a majestic fireplace. Perched on the second floor, it feels delightfully peaceful despite its central location and offers beautiful views from its large shuttered windows. After a day of adventure, enjoy a glass of wine while admiring your scenic surroundings before slipping out for your reservation at one of the many eateries nearby.

Vecchio Vintage

This contemporary, elegant apartment is a wonderful home-from-home in Florence. You’ll be in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo, and the Uffizi. Restaurants, cafes, and gelaterias are all within easy reach of this conveniently located apartment, which looks out over the arcades. When you return from a busy day of sightseeing, you’ll have a petite patio to unwind on with a glass of wine. The apartment is stylish and attractive, with chic decor and tall windows that make it bright and welcoming. 

Renaissance Chic

Marrying contemporary design with Italian flair, this apartment is a stylish base in the heart of Florence. The living space boasts modern artwork and a small kitchen. That said, with delicious eateries nearby, dining out will likely be on the cards. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms ensure there's plenty of privacy, too. However, the location is what makes this place a real star. A stroll in one direction will take you to Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Galleries. Head the opposite way to see the striking Basilica di Santa Croce and historic Teatro Verdi. Exploring on foot is a breeze here – it's perfect for those keen in the centre of the action.

Santa Croce Style

Tucked away on a quiet street in Florence’s Pitti district, this rustic apartment offers a charming base for up to two couples looking to explore the city. The interiors are full of character, with wood-beamed ceilings, shuttered windows and a lived-in feel that gives it a warm, homely vibe. Each of the two bedrooms is surprisingly spacious, and both come with their own mezzanine level – ideal for spreading out and stashing luggage. It's comfortable, authentic and perfectly placed for strolling to the Ponte Vecchio, Boboli Gardens or the boutiques of Via Maggio in minutes.

The Holy Heart

Stunning panoramic views await in this top-floor studio apartment. The scenery speaks for itself – you'll wake up to Palazzo Pitti and drift off to the Duomo. Perched in the building's watchtower, it's part of an ancient palace dating back to 1470. If you love traditional features, this is the home for you – expect terracotta floors, wooden ceilings, a Renaissance courtyard steeped in history, and, of course, large windows that frame the Florentine skyline. Granted, there are a few things to note here. The kitchen is compact, and there are quite a lot of stairs. Still, with vistas as good as this and an impeccable location, we think that's a worthwhile compromise.

A View of Dreams

This apartment is on the third floor of a historically important palazzo in Florence. It’s perfectly located for exploring the city, with most of the main attractions a ten-fifteen-minute walk away, including Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. The Basilica of Santa Croce is a few steps away, and the apartment boasts spectacular views of Florentine rooftops. The apartment is full of historic charm – we love the frescoed ceilings – and has plenty of space for all twelve guests to spend time together. 

Terracotta Embrace

Step into centuries of Florentine elegance in this unique apartment set within a prestigious palace in the heart of Oltrarno. Built around 1470,  every room tells a story, with grand frescoes, soaring ceilings and antique furnishings. Three lavish living areas, a formal dining room, and richly decorated bedrooms offer a truly regal experience. You’ll even enter through a majestic inner courtyard adorned with statues. While the kitchen and bathrooms feel compact and dated compared to the grandeur elsewhere, they serve their purpose – and you’re unlikely to mind. After all, it’s not every day you wake up surrounded by history, art and architecture this spectacular. This is a one-of-a-kind stay you won’t forget.

Palatial Grandeur 

Overlooking Piazza della Signoria, this apartment has a fantastic address. Attractions such as the Fountain of Neptune, Piazza del Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio are all within a very short stroll. Back at this apartment, housed in a historic palazzo, you can take in the views over Piazza della Signoria – the vistas here are stunning. The living area is a great place to relax after a busy day in Florence – this room also sleeps guests five and six on a sofa bed. This home is a great find.

Piazza Vista

Nestled in the heart of Florence’s historical centre, you’ll find bars, restaurants, and shops aplenty on the doorstep, as well as the city’s oldest market. And with Duomo di Firenze, Boboli Gardens, and Ponte Vecchio all within walking distance, you won’t have to venture far to explore they city’s must-sees. We love the traditional features in this home but the bedroom doesn’t have a door so privacy here is limited. It’s also worth noting that it’s on the third floor, without a lift. If climbing sixty-five steps to the front door isn’t a deal-breaker, we think this place is a great find for a couple or solo traveller seeking a central spot.

 The Pillars of Florence

When we came across this quaint apartment, we did a double-take. While it may be a bit old-school in style, it has lots of charm for a city stay. Set on the third floor, with a private balcony overlooking the rooftops of Florence, there's no lack of character here – that being said, it may feel a little dated in parts. And, while the bedrooms are semi-open, limiting privacy, its location in the historic district makes it a good choice for those keen to be close to the action. 

Window to Florence

Boasting a wonderfully central location in Florence – just a four-minute stroll from the Duomo – this elegant apartment is an ideal base for those looking to get the most out of the city’s history and culture. 

Elegantly dressed, there’s a feeling of classical charm here with the living room’s contemporary furnishings, scenic oil paintings, exposed stone walls and glossy floors, while the downstairs bedroom is a lavish affair with its crystal chandelier and large windows draped in silver curtains. Upstairs, meanwhile, the mezzanine bedroom feels cosy and intimate with its beamed ceiling and antique-style decor – we’re especially fond of the wooden bureau here that's ideal should you need to catch up on work. Factor in the pair of showers – one of which is a luxurious rainfall – and you’ve got everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Outside of your home, you’ve got plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to explore right on your front door, while beautiful Piazza della Signoria is a one-minute walk away. You’re also just a five-minute walk from Ponte Vecchio, while Strozzi Palace is four minutes away on foot. 


La Signorina

Immerse yourself in all that the magical city of Florence has to offer with a stay at this charming apartment situated right at the heart of the old town, just steps away from the iconic Duomo. Located in a historic building, this place retains all of its vintage charm while at the same time boasting modern comforts and luxury to make your holiday extra restful. 

Enter through the front door to be greeted by a bright living space, with floods of natural light gently streaming in through the large windows. We love the high ceilings with their white wooden beams – what could be more authentically Florentine than that? You’ll find plenty of room to kick off your shoes and relax on the comfy sofa which at night can be pulled out to serve as a double bed. The kitchenette may be small in scale but it has all you need to whip up a quick and delicious supper or breakfast, which you can then enjoy with your loved ones at the elegant dining table by the window. 

When you also consider the plush and luxurious bedrooms, with their soft beds and lovely pale tones, as well as the spa-like ambience of the modern bathrooms, you know that you have all you need to have a relaxing stay. 

Start your day with a fresh cup of Italian coffee before heading out to discover the many gems of Florence – aside from the proximity to the Duomo you’ll also be a three-minute walk away from the Bargello Museum, which houses many of Michelangelo's masterpieces.
