Set in the suburban town of Aroeira, the home is just a thirty-minute drive away from the centre of Lisbon and an even closer, twelve-minute drive to Fonte da Telha Beach.

Here, you’ll be able to enjoy long country walks and cycling expeditions, thanks to the free bikes provided by your host. Immerse yourself in the surrounding beauty, with pine forests and plenty of secret nooks, where you can daydream and relax. 

The house itself is bright and welcoming, with a lovely open-space kitchen and lounge area, big enough to accommodate the entire family. Rustle up delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy them either at the dining table inside or, better still, on the veranda. Here you’ll also find a barbecue oven, perfect for those evening feats in the warm summer air. On sunny afternoons, why not jump in the pool or catch up on your holiday reads while lounging comfortably on one of the sunbeds dotted around the garden.

When you need a repose from the sun, retreat to the inside where you’ll find a light-filled contemporary space. The minimal design aesthetic features crisp white walls, full-height ceilings and a multitude of glass accents that beckons the light in and creates laid-back energy that synchronises with the Portuguese coastal spirit. If you want to get out and explore, beeline for Alfarim and Meco beaches with the home’s stand-up paddle board and kayak in tow (just seven minutes in the car), or discover the natural seawater lagoons of Lagoa de Albufeira (a ten-minute drive) or spend the day in the seaside town of Sesimbra to admire the pristine white sands be spoilt with a choice of seafood restaurants (a twenty-five-minute car ride).
