If you're in the mood to do a bit of shopping, Forum Madeira is a twenty-minutes on foot, while the Promenade do Lido is excellent for evening strolls along the water. There are many world-class restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby, but you can always head into Funchal city centre for more options – it's just a seven-minute drive.
