One thing to note, though, at full capacity, two people will be on a sofa bed in the living space. A short walk away is Cais da Ribeira, a bustling riverfront promenade lined with bars and restaurants in the shadow of the iconic Ponte Luís I.

While small, thought has been put into the design of the living area, and this sense of style carries over to the bedroom, too. Located in Beco Passos Manuel, it’s close to Porto’s main attractions and an easy walk to the riverfront for boat tours and the famous wine warehouses. It’s a studio apartment, so space is at a premium and there’s no sofa or armchairs. But the kitchen has everything you need for self-catering and there’s a choice between dining at the bistro table inside, or in the sheltered little courtyard just for you.

Equipped with a table and chairs, this privileged outdoor space is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while indulging in some people-watching or sipping a sundowner while admiring the fading light glistening across the colourful, tiled buildings opposite. 
 
The main bedroom offers equally enchanting street views to wake up to each morning with its own sets of French doors, while the window-side desk space here offers a most inspiring spot from which to catch up on work.

Light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. You're right by Ribeira, with the waterfront's restaurants, bars and cafes just a short walk away. There's limited living space and the kitchen is only suitable for preparing light bites, but it's a good pick for solo travellers or couples. You'll notice the colourful decor that creates a welcoming home, while the exposed stone is a nice touch. Open up the shutters and invite the sounds of Porto into the apartment, as you relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

The Porto Spirit

This fuss-free apartment is perfectly placed to discover the charm of Porto. Situated near Sé do Porto and Bolsa Palace, this is an excellent base for those who want to explore the city’s cultural hotspots and restaurants.
