Everything here is set up for outdoor living. There are no fewer than twelve sets of French doors leading out onto ~1,000 sq ft of balconies and ~2,000 sq ft of patio space. The large outdoor gazebo boasts a full outdoor kitchen with a serious gas barbecue and alfresco dining area overlooking the stunning pool and Jacuzzi area. In addition to the usual high-end outdoor amenities, you'll also find professional-standard courts for sand volleyball, bocce ball and tennis. We sense a bit of friendly competition. Take a peek inside the barn, and you'll find a private games room with a pool table, ping pong, air hockey, and dartboard and a large rose garden adjacent to the villa, which provides fresh roses daily.

At the back of the house, there's a covered porch and a terrace complete with alfresco seating and a barbecue — that's summer afternoons sorted, then. When the sun does makes an appearance — which isn't unheard of in these parts — a ten-minute walk down Ocean Avenue will get you to Carmel Beach, while there are a host of art galleries and restaurants that surround the home.

Take your pick from two fire pit seating areas adorned with festoon lighting – there’s a spot in the secluded backyard or out front for sunset views. Foodies will love the Traeger barbeque, complete with a wifi app and meat probe that alerts you when your meat is cooked to perfection. We’re particularly fond of the quaint outdoor shower area. It’s perfect for washing off sandy feet from a day at the beach or cooling down after a hike in Fiscalini Ranch Preserve – both within walking distance.
