Located down an idyllic, oak tree-lined country road and nestled amongst the vines of a working vineyard in Sonoma, this place is utter bliss. You can see the beautiful vineyards even when sitting inside, from the large picture window in the living room. The vista is a sight to behold when the sun rises, flooding the modern lounge with light. The kitchen with its Viking gourmet range is perfect for entertaining, or you can grill dinner on the barbecue and enjoy a meal at the salvaged wood farm table. We love the raised garden beds full of seasonal vegetables and herbs – perfect for using in your cooking. With its multiple terraces and separate one bedroom casita, this home is just the ticket for a group of friends or multi-generational family wanting their own space. If you fancy venturing out, Downtown Sonoma is around a 5-minute drive away, but we really wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to step a foot away from this truly magical place. 

Amidst The Vines

Hidden away in the beautiful Alexander Valley of California, right in the heart of wine country lies this massive property spanning eleven acres. Take advantage of three beautiful accomodations and a range of luxury outdoor facilities including a heated pool, outdoor dining and a basketball court. With breathtaking views of Mt St Helena visible right from your living room, this sanctuary is the perfect backdrop for family retreats and corporate events. Indoor sports like ping pong and pool make for casual games nights, or take advantage of the fully-equipped kitchens and a private chef and dine alfreco under the California sun.

Nature lovers will feel right at home here – solar panels are used throughout the property and the large pond covering part of the land allows for hours of bird watching. The barns, horse stalls and riding arena all add to the rustic and equestrian luxury feel of the home, adding a country style to any event. Try wine tasting or an in-house massage for that added touch of sophistication. Whether your thing is corporate style or natural tranquility, you're sure to have a spectacular stay.

Life in the Valley

Explore Sonoma Wine Country from this lavish home in Healdsburg. Despite its small-town charm, this city is anything but sleepy. Proudly perched at the intersection of three esteemed wine-growing regions, Healdsburg is a paradise for connoisseurs of the good stuff. It also boasts a thriving foodie scene, with ample eateries championing the region’s farm-to-table movement. Here, you're a short drive from ample wineries, while San Francisco is just over an hour away by car.

You’ll find this home in Downtown Healdsburg, just two blocks away from the city’s nineteenth-century central plaza, lined with Michelin-starred restaurants, artisan bakeries, art galleries and local wine bars. With its striking monochromatic exterior, this home impresses from the offset. Inside, the black-and-white colour palette is echoed through stylish decor, while floor-to-ceiling windows invite sunlight to flood the space. 

We love the open-plan ground floor, boasting a cosy lounge, chic dining area and sleek kitchen, dressed to the nines with modern amenities. Spend mornings gathered around the marble-topped breakfast bar for coffee before stepping onto the sun-soaked courtyard. Spend your days here, catching rays and cooling down in the private pool. Come sunset, return here for a cookout prepared in the outdoor kitchen, washed down with a bottle of local wine, naturally. 

The Vintner

This delightful Wine Country home is a superb choice for a family or group of friends hoping to relax, unwind, and try some of California’s finest tipples. A newly built cottage, this home sits just eight miles from Healdsburg Plaza, and a few minutes from Lake Sonoma. It’s far enough from town to feel like a real retreat, but you’re within easy reach of anything you might need. Best of all, there are dozens of wineries within minutes. 

As soon as you arrive, you’ll be taken by the stunning vineyard views – this really is a pretty setting. The home has been designed in the style of an Italian villa, with wooden floors and stylish decor. It’s wonderfully comfortable too – after a long day, you can curl up in front of the fireplace to sip tea and enjoy a moment of tranquillity. The kitchen is wonderfully well stocked with utensils so you can whip up feasts with no trouble at all – or, easier still, book a private chef to wow your guests. 

The porch is a strong contender for our favourite spot. Take a seat in a rocking chair as the sun is sinking in the sky, and sip a glass of the wine you most enjoyed that day. You’ll feel a million miles from the hustle and bustle. Continue to unwind by slipping into the hot tub. After one last glass of wine and a few marshmallows toasted over the fire pit, you’ll be ready to sink into a comfortable bed for an excellent night’s sleep. We love it here. 


Cabernet Cottage

Nestled amongst the trees, yet a mere ten-minute stroll from downtown Mill Valley, this home serves up relaxation and convenience in equal measure. Perfect for two couples or a small family, escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life is a breeze here – although if you do need to work, there’s a dedicated space for that, too. But the cherry on the cake for us? The outdoor area, without a doubt. With a sunken hot tub and fire pit, it’s just the spot for spending time with loved ones, day and night. 

Mill Valley Marvel

In the heart of California's famous wine country, this home makes an excellent first impression. It's hard not to be captivated by the mountain views, and you'll be able to enjoy them from the expansive patio, private pool, and hot tub. There's even a bocce ball court to keep things competitive. Inside, the design is equal parts cosy and contemporary. Beamed ceilings and roaring fireplaces add a rustic touch, but amenities-wise, it's got all the mod-cons – an office for remote working, a Peloton bike for workouts, and a soaker bath for unwinding. Factor in the location close to Napa, Sonoma, and the region's many vineyards, and you'll see why it caught our eye.

Cabernet & Clover

Tucked away in the serene coastal community of Pedro Point, this modern cabin offers the perfect escape to the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Located just a nine-minute walk from Pacifica State Beach and a six-minute stroll from Shelter Cove Beach – you'll be blown away by the bay's beauty, making it a popular spot for photographers. It's also a favourite amongst surfers, so whether you like to be part of the action or watch it all from a safe distance, Pacifica State Beach caters to all. There is a range of surf shops and some great local eateries on your doorstep too. For those who want to see more than just the coast, San Francisco is less than a twenty-five-minute drive away. When you're done exploring all that the San Francisco Peninsula has to offer, head home and rustle up a cioppino in the modern kitchen. We love the balcony with its views over the neighbourhood – perfect for a sundowner. Black Walnut Cove

City life feels like a distant memory from the moment you walk into this beautiful Californian home. Ideal for two couples, or individuals, the house is set across two levels, with a large, terraced garden and several decks with views across the majestic Sonoma Mountains. Outdoor living is a way of life here, with an open-air spa-style shower, outdoor grill for those balmy evenings, and plenty of seating on the decks for relaxing with a book or soaking up the afternoon sun. Take your pick from the seasonal fruit trees in the garden, cook lazy suppers in the recently remodelled kitchen and relax in the lounge with views of misty peaks through the large windows. If you fancy venturing out, you’re within walking distance of a number of restaurants and cafes, and just a bike ride from the many gorgeous vineyards in the area. For world-class hiking and biking, Sonoma Regional Park (11 mins drive) and Sugarloaf Ridge State Park (17 mins) aren’t much further away. 

Cherries & Plums

You’ll be able to access the riverfront directly from the property, and your host also offers free kayaks and a bicycle, making it even easier to take full advantage of the stunning setting. The large patio is the perfect place to share morning coffee or a bottle of delectable California wine at sunset. 

Inside, you’ll find a bright and inviting open-plan living space, perfect for snuggling up and relaxing after a long day of outdoor adventures. We love the warm ambience of this space, with beamed ceilings, wooden floors and a fireplace for added cosiness. You can rustle up delicious meals in the well-stocked kitchen and share them with your loved ones at the dining table. 

Before heading off to a land of sweet dreams which awaits you in the comfy bedrooms, why not unwind in the hot tub, truly surrendering yourself to the calming powers of this natural setting. 

When you’re ready to venture out and explore, there’s plenty to keep the whole family busy here, with countless hiking and cycling trails, river activities, and wine tours.

This luxurious hideaway combines the privacy of a luxury estate, the restorative energy of immersion in nature, and the warmth and attention to detail. Create culinary magic in a professional standard chef's kitchen, and make the most of multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas where you're free to curl up with a good book and immerse yourself in the sounds of Mother Nature, as amplified music isn't permitted outdoors. 

The property sprawls well beyond the confines of the comfortable, with outdoor sofas and a fire pit, an inviting private pool and, of course, a relaxing hammock swaying in the breeze. Sonoma Sanctuary

Nestled in the city of Roseville, California, this modern home is great for friends and families. Well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee, and your host can provide a cot and safety equipment for little ones. You'll find a gym, shops, and Blue Oaks Park within walking distance. That said, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay here – it's less than an hour's drive to Sacramento, and a couple of hours into San Francisco for day trips.

Echo of the River

Moments from Golden Gate Park, this apartment is perfectly placed for a refreshing city break. You’ll find easy access to local cafes, organic grocery stores, restaurants and boutiques. It’s worth noting there is no free parking here, but you will find great public transport links – making it easy to get across the city. You will also have access to a private patio and a backyard for relaxing evening drinks. Inside, there’s a fireplace and a projector in the living room, while the second bedroom comes with a desk – making this an ideal spot for remote workers.
