In the hills between Laurel Canyon and Mount Olympus, this superb villa is just a ten-minute drive from Sunset Strip. Designed in classical style, with grand fireplaces, tall windows and ornate chandeliers, it's a truly opulent place to stay. Harking back to the golden days of early Hollywood, it's all about glamour, from the lush hedges guarding its privacy to the sweeping staircase and the soaring ceilings. Outside there's a crystal-clear pool and hot tub, along with a cabana, an elegant covered dining terrace and a barbecue area, while indoors boasts formal and casual living areas, a stunning dining room, a high-spec kitchen and an office. Bedrooms are sumptuous, with a hint of cheekiness thanks to some choice pieces of modern art, and bathrooms are the height of luxury. With mountain views and easy access to everything from dining and shopping on Rodeo to family entertainment at Universal Studios – both within a twenty-minute drive – this is a fabulous home in a great location.

Hotlips

Finding a stylish bolthole for two just off Melrose Avenue is a rare thing. Explore West Hollywood’s dining, shopping, and entertainment hotspots – it’s all within easy reach. Or jump in the car and head west for beach days along Santa Monica – just a short drive away. Back home at this gated complex, while there’s no swimming pool to speak of, the private covered patio with a barbecue and fire pit is a bonus for balmy LA evenings. Inside, not a thing is out of place, although the small shower room might feel underwhelming compared to the roomy bedroom and living areas. But, for a home this central, we can forgive that. 

Sunset Vibe

Perched in the Hollywood Hills, this modern masterpiece presents slick contemporary furnishings from start to finish, with a chic black and white colour scheme and dark wood finishings – adding warmth to its harmonious aesthetic. 

Freel-flowing natural daylight adorns the space with bright and positive energy. Meanwhile, floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors extend the inside – out into the gorgeous garden. Outside amid the sunny exterior, you'll find a glistening swimming pool, sun loungers, and a covered alfresco dining area – perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals in the balmy California temperatures. With a grassy lawned area and a children's playground and basketball court – the kids will be kept well and truly amused here too. 

The fun doesn't end outside either, as the plush home cinema room will be calling your name to sink into its ultra-luxurious armchairs for a home movie screening like no other. And when you've had enough of chasing the stars on the big screen – head out to soak up West Hollywood and Beverly Hills – you might even spot a Hollywood star or two on your escapades around the city – after all, you'll be staying in the most glamorous area of Los Angeles. 



Chasing the Stars 

This bright and airy home is a great base if you're looking to be in the heart of buzzing West Hollywood. It's definitely not the largest or most high-end of our LA homes, but it's got a lovely fresh feel to it and has been stylishly decorated with a mid-century modern feel. There is a small seating area in the garden which is a nice spot to enjoy a morning coffee before heading out into the city.

Green Windows

Set above the Sunset Strip, this modern three-story estate showcases imitable style. This bold and innovative home displays unmatched quality and attention to detail throughout the open living space with its custom wine wall, a bespoke kitchen and a billiards table. On the backside of the house, walls of glass vanish into thin air, offering phenomenal indoor-outdoor living while showing off those breathtaking city views. Enter the grand master suite complete with a private balcony, sitting area, and a walk-in wardrobe. While no one will be left disappointed with the standard of the secondary bedrooms. The en-suite bathrooms exude a feeling of luxury with custom wooden cabinets, walk-in showers, and a free-standing tub. Step outside and take in those awe-inspiring city vistas from the dining terrace, pool and spa area – we promise they never get old. Leave the secluded haven of your hillside home and you can be in the heart of the action in no time at all. You're perfectly positioned to enjoy the vibrant melting pot that is West Hollywood, the raucous nightlife of Sunset Strip and the chic boutiques of Rodeo Drive – all within a ten-minute drive.

A Place in the Hills

Where to start with a home like this? A classical French chateau set in Beverley Hills, with plenty of space both indoors and out, it's practically dripping in opulence. We'll start with the incredible dual staircase, perfectly suited to making a proper Hollywood entrance to any evening soiree (or perhaps a romantic wedding?). Packed with imposing features like ornate ceilings, tall windows, chandeliers and fireplaces, the home has been modernised to bring it into the 21st century with a colour scheme of whites and dark greys, designer furnishings and contemporary styling. Formal entertaining space comes in the form of grand reception rooms, a dining room and a wet bar that opens to the terrace, while a comfy home cinema and outdoor lounge areas make for casual places to hang out as a family or group of friends. There's a beautiful pool and hot tub, surrounded by lush planting, and we particularly love the first floor's spacious terrace with its verdant views. The master suite is the height of luxury, with a lounge and fireplace, and a gorgeous bathroom with a sauna, steam shower and walk-in wardrobe, while all the bedrooms benefit from private en-suites. Elsewhere in the home, there's a gym and a wine cellar, along with a garage if you're bringing your classic car with you. From here it's just an eight-minute drive to Rodeo Drive, with all sorts of fine dining and world-class shopping options nearby.

La Baroque

This riad inspired home impresses with its sophisticated atmosphere, exotic poolside, decorative panache and touches of L.A glamour. An ode to Morroco, you’ll find objets d’art in the sitting rooms and dreamy daybeds beneath lattice lanterns in the backyard. In the evenings, turn on the red lights and tuck into North African fare in the outdoor dining space. Follow with a robust coffee or glass of wine at the cosy alfresco seating area – light the brick fireplace or warm up in the hot tub if it gets chilly when night falls. The final flourish is the master bedroom’s open-concept en-suite. With free-standing marble tub and glitzy chrome wall, it’s a somewhat subtle nod to the fabulous West Hollywood, a five-minute drive away. Shopping fans should walk the mere three blocks to Melrose Avenue for upscale boutiques, while foodies must try out the small plate menus in your Beverly Grove locale or take the fifteen-minute walk to Robertson Avenue for its see-and-be-seen restaurants.
