In the sprawling main bedroom, treat yourself to an at-home spa in the sanctuary-like bathroom, then cosy up with your book and a nightcap next to the striking see-through fireplace. In the morning, bathe in the golden sunrise light from your balcony whilst enjoying a creamy espresso.

The kitchen flows seamlessly into the vast and contemporary living spaces, so you can float effortlessly between displaying your chef skills in the state-of-the-art kitchen to hosting an Instagram-worthy dinner next to the neon-blue-illuminated dining room. As the stars descend, there is a host of sundowner options that will compete for your attention – the combination pool and hot tub, the fire pit or the cabana lounge with a wide-screen TV. 

The views of the Hollywood sign from your private balcony may beckon you out into greater LA, and if you do fancy a trip out, you’re only a five minutes walk from the Beverly Center or a five-minute drive to the LA County Art Museum.

Beverly Grove Brutalism

This elegant Spanish-style mansion blends timeless charm with modern luxury. Light-filled living spaces with soaring ceilings and exposed beams invite you to unwind in style. The chef’s kitchen, with its marble island and top-tier appliances, is made for entertaining. Step outside to a private courtyard, sparkling pool, spa, and BBQ area for your own slice of California paradise. There’s even a private home theatre for nights in. Spread across three grand levels, you’ll need to climb a few staircases. However, every step is totally worth it. It's available only for monthly stays, making it perfect for exploring Beverly Hills and beyond in comfort and style.

Spanish Grandeur

Whatever brings you to Los Angeles, this ground floor apartment north of Crenshaw provides peace, comfort and security. The home forms half of a gated duplex, with upstairs used by other guests who may also share the driveway. Upon entering you'll find the primary living space, a slightly sparse sitting room which flows into the kitchen and dining area. There's also room for three bedrooms (though only one gets a king size bed), plus two bathrooms to prevent unwanted queues. You'll be free to wander the grassy garden, or fire up the grill for a sunny barbecue – and should the city call, you can reach Downtown LA in forty minutes by avoiding the traffic and taking the Metro E Line.

Gracious Abode

This luxurious villa is situated in the famous Bird Streets of Hollywood Hills. You'll have everything you need here for a stay like no other – the infinity pool and alfresco dining space offer fabulous views, while indoors you'll find a custom-built quartz wine cellar and your very own home theatre. The state-of-the-art fitness centre lets you get pumped or relax in the sauna and steam shower, and the chef's kitchen has everything needed to whip up banquets and family meals. We recommend hiring a car here to get the most out of this star-studded location, but this home ensures you'll be living like a celebrity in no time.

Bird Streets Oasis

As you might expect from a home in Beverly Grove, this is one glitzy pad. Wonderfully spacious, flooded with light and with no expense spared in terms of fixtures and fittings, it will suit guests accustomed to the finer things in life. Inside, you'll find a huge sleek kitchen, a handful of hotel-standard bathrooms and a few eclectic artistic touches — we're particularly fond of the motorcycle parked underneath the stairs and the delicate butterfly chandelier. In two of the bedrooms, there are balconies on which you can sit out and soak up the SoCal sunshine, but they can't beat the back garden, where summer afternoons can be whiled away in the swimming pool, Jacuzzi or in front of the barbecue. If you fancy a change of scenery at any point, both The Grove and Los Angeles County Museum of Art can be reached in just over twenty minutes on foot.

Easy Rider Luxe

This stunning mid-century architectural gem is located in a highly desirable BHPO location. The authentic property, originally designed by architect Greta Grossman as her personal residence in 1948, has been beautifully renovated whilst retaining its original architectural charm. The interior design by Molly Luetkemeyer was published in 2015. With lovely views from multiple patios, the property is perfect for entertaining or relaxation. The house features a direct entry garage for maximum privacy, two bedrooms with a spectacular master suite and a media/entertainment area with full bath that can be used as a third guest bedroom suite. The pool, spa and private garden with outdoor dining are ideal for enjoying the California sun. This is a rare opportunity for those seeking style and substance in their vacation rental.

Blueberries

Nestled behind a 1913 craftsman house, you'll find this sweet studio home. It's a serene space with crisp, white walls and wooden beams. The outside space is shaded by a ficus tree, and is the perfect spot in which to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the buzz of the city. Sit in one of the rocking chairs and enjoy a glass of wine and a game of chess as you watch the hummingbirds flit between the shrubs. 

When it comes to exploring LA, this home is in an excellent location. It's just one mile south of Hollywood, in the Larchmont neighbourhood, which is full of historic homes and independent businesses. You can be in Hollywood in five minutes by car, while a fifteen-minute walk will bring you to the main boulevard of Larchmont. You'll find a farmer's market and a range of shops and eateries. It takes ten minutes to drive to downtown LA, with its bars, stylish restaurants and galleries. 

This lovely little home offers the best of both worlds – you'll sleep soundly in this residential neighbourhood but can be in the thick of things in minutes. The perfect pied-à-terre. 


Green Rocking Chair

This is one super cool coastal pad. We love the stylish and laid-back design of this home that its surfer owners have lovingly crafted. Your hosts' personality really comes through elements such as the wall-mounted clock collection, the reclaimed wood wardrobe doors and the self-build spirit on show in the jungle garden. Here, they've repurposed corrugated steel panels to divide the space, built homemade garden furniture and even managed to fit in an artist studio caravan. There's even a fire pit for cosy evenings. The standout feature has got to be its proximity to gorgeous Venice Beach, an easy fifteen-minute amble away. Surf's up, so what are you waiting for!



Time To Surf

From the orange trees in the big back garden to the bright sunroom opening out to a terrace, this delightful home is as Californian as they get. Spacious and stylish, it mixes its 1930s original features with contemporary touches and more than a hint of Skandi influence in the decor.

All-white interiors and wood floors offer numerous seating areas, with a formal living room complete with a period fireplace, a snug room with a sectional sofa and seating the sunroom. But just open up those floor-to-ceiling doors and you'll have the best seats in the house, out on the fabulous terrace. There's a kitchen with all the equipment you could need, as well as a kitchen table, a formal dining table and plenty of room to eat outside.

Bedrooms are all big, comfy and come with their own bathrooms, while there's plenty of storage thanks to walk-in wardrobes and dressing tables. There's even a handy office if you need to work from home. And after a hard day exploring this fabulous part of LA, be sure to spend some time in the private pool before dinner.

Just a short drive from West Hollywood and the iconic Sunset strip, you'll be on a charming tree-lined street with easy access to all sorts of great restaurants, bars and nightlife. 

California Orange

This riad inspired home impresses with its sophisticated atmosphere, exotic poolside, decorative panache and touches of L.A glamour. An ode to Morroco, you’ll find objets d’art in the sitting rooms and dreamy daybeds beneath lattice lanterns in the backyard. In the evenings, turn on the red lights and tuck into North African fare in the outdoor dining space. Follow with a robust coffee or glass of wine at the cosy alfresco seating area – light the brick fireplace or warm up in the hot tub if it gets chilly when night falls. The final flourish is the master bedroom’s open-concept en-suite. With free-standing marble tub and glitzy chrome wall, it’s a somewhat subtle nod to the fabulous West Hollywood, a five-minute drive away. Shopping fans should walk the mere three blocks to Melrose Avenue for upscale boutiques, while foodies must try out the small plate menus in your Beverly Grove locale or take the fifteen-minute walk to Robertson Avenue for its see-and-be-seen restaurants.

Moroccan Poolside

For some silver screen glamour in the heart of West Hollywood, look no further than this luxurious townhouse. Located just south of Sunset Strip in an exclusive gated complex, it's recently been overhauled by interior designer to the stars Roxy Sowlaty. On the ground floor, you'll find an expansive open-plan space with a giant velvet corner sofa set around a fireplace and piano, perfect for those cosy, cooler nights. However, once the sun's out, you can enjoy direct access to a compact outdoor space, complete with a barbecue. When you're not dining outdoors, we really enjoyed the interplay between the sleek and stylish kitchen with elegant marble worktops that sits alongside the rustic dining table. Upstairs features two large bedrooms with marble en-suites and walk-in wardrobes, so you can sleep in the lap of luxury. Head up one final flight of steps, and you'll arrive at the top floor. This multipurpose room is all things to all people. Need to work out? There's gym equipment. Answer work emails? Grab a seat at the desk. You can even accommodate a couple of additional guests up here. Next, step out onto the rooftop terrace with panoramic views stretching from Downtown LA to Santa Monica. Outside your heavenly Hollywood home, you're only a short walk from the fine dining restaurants and luxury boutiques that line Sunset Boulevard.

Kramer

Set in the palm-tree-lined streets of Westwood, this luxurious mansion is perfect for cinephiles – not only is it minutes away from plentiful cultural sights rooted in the silver screen, but it also has its very own home cinema. Inside, you can enjoy a film, work out in the gym or recline on a cosy couch next to the fireplace. 

Outside, however, is where this mansion really shines. We particularly love the rooftop terrace that affords views of that iconic LA skyline – and its stunning sunsets. Lower down, you can take a dip in the pool and jacuzzi, or perhaps take a charming stroll through the courtyard.

Well placed for many LA attractions, a diverse range of restaurants, art museums and sights are all within a short drive away. Meanwhile, you can pay your respects to Marilyn Monroe and other Hollywood A-listers at Westwood Village Memorial Park, only seven minutes away by car.
