When it comes to Afternoon Delight, it's all about the location. Boasting delightful views over San Diego Bay, the home is just three blocks from India Street in the centre of Little Italy, where a vast range of wonderful restaurants await your visit. On top of that, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Hillcrest and Downtown are all within walking distance, so you really won't be running out of things to do and see. Of course, it only helps that Afternoon Delight is also a wonderful space to call home. This modern build can accommodate up to five guests comfortably, with one of them sleeping on the double pull-down bed in the second living space. The rest of the home has been beautifully furnished and boasts modern amenities and appliances for a relaxing stay.

Afternoon Delight

Embrace the surfer lifestyle with a stay at this fabulous waterside retreat. Overlooking Sail Bay and just a few minutes away from Mission Beach, it's the ideal place to press pause and enjoy some quality time together. 

The grand living space is bright and airy, with a fireplace for warming up on chilly evenings. In the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to whip up some tasty dishes to help the group refuel after a busy day. Or, you might prefer to flip some burgers on the outdoor grill, and enjoy an alfresco feast in the warm Californian sunshine. There's also a balcony with fantastic views over the water – it would be difficult to find a more perfect spot to relax on a lounger with a good book. 

With Sail Bay right on your doorstep, and Mission Beach only a five-minute walk away, you're likely to spend much of your time on the sand. Adventurous guests can try their hand at surfing, scuba diving, and paddleboarding in the Pacific – there are plenty of water sports centres offering lessons nearby. And, with iconic Belmont Park just a three-minute drive away, and the historic Gaslamp Quarter fifteen minutes away by car, you're not likely to run out of things to do here. 

Secret Mission

Perfect for getaways with friends, this Spanish-style home can be found in San Diego’s Mountain View neighbourhood. It’s close to the action, seven minutes from Downtown, and with Balboa Park eight minutes away. The beach is only twelve minutes away – your host can set up a bonfire with s’mores – what a way to kick off your stay. The house is cosy and comfortable, with a lush garden equipped with hammocks, sofas, and a dining table, and a beautiful living and kitchen space inside. There’s even a beautiful clawfoot tub in the garden, should you fancy a starlit soak. 

Sunny San Diego

If you're planning to treat your favourite people to a wonderful trip to San Diego, then this condo is the place for you. With easy access to the beach and plenty of space for your guests, it's a great place to call home during a coastal getaway. 

The tranquil living space is cloaked in soothing gray tones, with a few reflections of its seaside location – spot the "Beach Life" cushions and the starfish sculptures. You can kick back and relax on the comfy sofa, then cook up your favourite dishes in the smart kitchen to refuel after a busy day. Or, head out to the patio and fire up the barbeque for some burgers in the sunshine. With views across to the water, this outdoor space is ideal for soaking up the warm Californian sun. 

Sail Bay is just a few metres away, while Mission Beach's long sandy shoreline is only a five-minute walk from your front door. Fans of water sports are spoilt for choice, with the option to try out paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, and much more at one of the local centres. And, for those that prefer to stay on dry land, Belmont Park is just a fifteen-minute walk away, while the historic Gaslamp Quarter is a fifteen-minute car ride.

If al fresco dining is your thing, then you’re in luck. With a ton of outdoor dining and lounge space to both the front and back of the home, this place is perfect for those that love being out in the open air. Float the day away with an iced Americano in hand and get set to kick back in style.
We’re sure the Californian sun will tempt you outside, but if a cosy evening is calling your name, the soothing coastal decor and sumptuous leather sofas serve the ideal spot for family movie nights. 
In need of some ‘me–time’? The balcony deck nestled between the two bedrooms on the first floor was made for quiet moments spent watching the world go by, or with your head buried deep in the pages of a good book. 
For a full day of fun, games and brightly–lit arcades, make a beeline for Belmont Park, just a ten–minute walk away. Alternatively, if you feel like showing off your sporty side, head to the seafront courts for a game of beach volleyball.


Iced Americano

Just two blocks away from the beach and one block from the local boutiques and restaurants, this modern beach shack in San Diego provides guests with comfort and style in a great location. 

Recently remodelled, the kitchen is fully equipped and sparkly clean, while the L-shaped sofa in the living room is perfect for sinking into after a busy day. In the bedroom, guests will find a comfy bed with crisp linen and a vanity station which can easily be used as a desk for anyone in need of a home office. It’s a relatively small home, but you needn’t worry because there’s a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy too – equipped with a fire pit and surrounded by benches, it offers the perfect place to wind down. 

You can make the five-minute walk down to Ocean Beach to admire a magical sunset over the water, try your hand at surfing or simply stroll along the sand. Just two minutes away you'll find the local farmer's market, which sells artisanal produce every Wednesday. And, should you fancy an evening out in the city's traditional Gaslamp Quarter, you can drive there in just twelve minutes. 

Freshly Squeezed

With breathtaking views of Coronado and San Diego harbour, this charming 1920s California-style bungalow sits atop a west-facing hillside in an affluent part of town. Climb the stairs from street level and step into the main open-plan living area and kitchen. Here, you'll find a space blessed with high ceilings and a wall of glass with breathtaking views that leads directly onto a vast twenty-six-foot balcony running the length of the house. Pour yourself a welcome glass of Prosecco from the fridge and relax as you gaze out at the ocean and the planes coming in to land at the airport. Whether you're in town for work or play, location is key, and you couldn't be better placed here – just minutes from San Diego International Airport, Little Italy, Downtown Gaslamp, and the area's beaches. That said, there are plenty of wonderful cafes and historic neighbourhoods within walking distance, so you don't have to rely on four wheels all the time. And even when you're looking to travel further afield, it's a short stroll to the trolley stop, which can whisk you to the Gaslamp Quarter. Alternatively, take the COASTER train north to chic beach towns like Solana Beach, Encinitas and Carlsbad. At the end of a packed day, head through to the soothing bedrooms, which are decorated in neutral tones that contrast nicely with the dark wooden furnishings, while the comfortable beds make getting up in the morning a struggle. 

Down San Diego Way

This incredible beachfront penthouse is the stuff of dreams. Truly leave behind city stresses in a modern apartment sitting on the famous white and sandy beaches of San Diego. You'll have breathtaking sweeping sea views from almost every angle, the beach is your backyard, and the monochrome and warm wood interiors are simple and modern for your convenience and comfort. Prepare a fresh and zingy salade niçoise in the sunny kitchen with vaulted, glass ceilings or simply throw your favourite meat and vegetables on the barbecue for alfresco dinners. You'll be a short distance from Belmont Park - San Diego's historic amusement park - for some quintessential Californian culture, but we won't blame you if you just want to surf and sunbathe all day and night on your trip in the sun.

Ride The Waves

Shaded by towering tropical trees, the best way to start the day is with the salty sea breeze in your hair here. Sun-soaked and earthy, we love the feel of this home. And it gets better. Just a few footsteps take you straight to South Mission Beach, where you have amazing restaurants, bars, and markets at your fingertips. While the beach is hard to tear yourself away from, we'd spare some time to explore nearby golf courses, shops, and the good old Giant Dipper Roller Coaster at the Belmont Amusement Park – all just a short walk away. At the end of the day, you can return to your modern-Victorian home for a soak in the tub and a barbecue in the private courtyard.  

My Blue Breeze

You won’t get much closer to the beach than this San Diego villa, nudged up to the golden sands of South Mission. With panoramic sea views, you’re in a prime position for watching the sunset over the North Pacific Ocean from the beachfront terrace or balcony. Located close to the seafront boardwalk, with volleyball courts, a playground, and calm waters nearby, it’s a great choice for families. It’s worth noting that this villa is only available with five bedrooms and four bathrooms during the summer – at other times it’s rented as a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home that sleeps ten.

Rock Bottom

This 1960s mid-century style condominium has amazing harbour views that are utterly picturesque at sunset. Ideally placed, this apartment is close to the best beach in San Diego according to locals, as it is just a short one-minute walk to Bonita Cove following a path down to the ocean and boardwalk. Here, you can play a game of beach volleyball or simply enjoy the serene ocean sounds and clean, golden sands. 

Meanwhile, the famous Mission Beach is only a seven-minute walk away, following a charming beach path that is located just outside your front door. This is a popular spot for water sports. Plus, Mission Boulevard is lined with cafés and eateries for your lunchtime needs, while, other cafés, restaurants, ice cream shops, and even a karaoke bar are within a ten-minute walk from your door. 

Belmont Park, San Diego’s historic oceanfront amusement park – featuring the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, Liberty Carousel, and Tilt-a-Wheel – can be reached within six minutes by foot. Close enough to walk to from this condo but far enough away that the sounds and crowds won’t disturb you at home while you are admiring the stunning views.

What’s more, within an eight-minute walk, you can be at the famous Plunge swimming pool with its inflatable obstacle course, retractable roof for sunny days, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering ocean views. Spend the day at Sea World, just a ten-minute drive, or visit San Diego Zoo, just fifteen minutes away by car. The location of this fantastic condo means you are spoilt for choice whether you are looking for exciting activities or beach day relaxation. 

Bonita Cove Condo

Boasting stunning ocean views and alfresco seating, this guest suite is just six blocks from the Sunset Cliffs coastline. Powered by eco-friendly solar power and Tesla batteries, you'll be entirely off the grid here. Children under 8 aren't permitted due to the lack of railings and the large staircase to the front door, but small families with babies or older children will feel right at home. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and a boogie board are provided to prepare you for beach trips, with plenty of parking space outside. The homeowners live upstairs, but you'll have your own private entrance and won't need to worry about bumping into them.
