Inside, the open floor plan and sleek finishes make it easy to gather, cook, and relax. One or two well-behaved, potty-trained dogs are welcome, so your furry family members can enjoy the trip too! This is your chance to enjoy the comfort of a lovely stay with the charm of living like a local.

East Mesa Bliss

Just steps from the sand in Santa Barbara’s West Beach, this three-bedroom townhouse puts you right in the middle of it all – State Street, the Funk Zone, the pier, and the harbor are all an easy stroll away. But it’s not just about location here –  the interior is just as noteworthy. Spread out across three levels, you’ll have plenty of space to relax—whether that’s in the open living area, the private third-floor patio, or soaking in the master’s deep bathtub. Meanwhile, beach chairs, towels, and a pack-and-play are included, so you can skip the extra packing and start enjoying your Santa Barbara stay from day one.

Santa Barbara Oasis

Nestled in the hills of the Central California Coast, this private slice of heaven is yours to call home for a while. Though you’ll feel totally secluded with only deer as your neighbours, you’ll be just a fifteen-minute drive from Pismo Beach, fourteen minutes from Arroyo Grande, twenty-six minutes from the town of San Luis Obispo and surrounded by excellent wineries on all sides. Explore the local hiking trails, farmers markets, golf courses and dune buggy riding at the famed Nipomo Dunes, just a twenty-minute drive away. And, if relaxation is what you have in mind, this couldn’t be a better spot. From the soothing views and the calm interiors to the white noise machines and complimentary toiletries, every detail has been considered to create the ultimate escape. It’s also a great option for families with arcade games, board games, streaming services and plenty to explore in the surroundings. From here, it’s just a twelve-minute drive to Lake Arrowhead Village, plus hiking trails are within easy reach. 

Forest of Peace

A home for California swell chasers to search out, this home will have you in the water in no time, with the sands of San Clemente a five-minute drive from your front door and some of SoCal's best beach breaks within an hour's drive.

However, that's not to say that if you're not a surf pro, you won't find something for you here. Your host provides some boogie boards for the kids and beach chairs for a slightly more sedate experience down at the beach. But a stay here isn't just about the coastline, with hiking trails, pristine golf courses, and shopping are all a stone's throw away. 

The vibrant home itself shouldn’t go without a mention – its shared roof terrace makes for a wonderful spot to watch the sunset over the sea. Indoors, the coastal inspiration is clear. This bright and breezy villa puts the best of Santa Barbara at your doorstep. This beautiful Temecula home is a little slice of paradise set against the tranquil backdrop of the Californian Wine Country. Complete with its own cinema, putting green, games room, and swimming pool, you’ll find little reason to leave this modern home. Instead, host games nights with nachos and margaritas, spend entire days lazing poolside as you make your way through your holiday reading list, and admire the sunset from around the fire pit every night.

If you thrive on starting your day with physical activity, why not head down to the private gym or onto the tennis court for an active start? Afterwards, pour a cup of coffee in the generous kitchen before heading out onto the balcony where the whole family can dine alfresco.

The surrounding area is abundant with hiking trails, where you can explore the natural vegetation on a scenic walk. Explore the area or head towards the coast for a beach, coming back after dinner to unwind with a movie and a glass of wine selected from the private cellar.

The host of this renovated beach hut in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea has done a stellar job in retaining the home's historical character while also ensuring it belongs well and truly in the twenty-first century. Pinewood flooring, original windows and the stone fireplace are accompanied by industrial-inspired lighting, furnishings in an angelic shade of white and pops of colour from prints hanging on the wall. At the back of the house, there's a covered porch and a terrace complete with alfresco seating and a barbecue — that's summer afternoons sorted, then. When the sun does makes an appearance — which isn't unheard of in these parts — a ten-minute walk down Ocean Avenue will get you to Carmel Beach, while there are a host of art galleries and restaurants that surround the home.

You’ll also find a private hot tub overlooking the water, a putting green and a fire pit for magical evenings under the stars. Private parking is available and you’ll find it’s less than a ten-minute drive to Half Moon Bay, while San Francisco is twenty-five minutes away.
