Ideally located on Main Street in Aspen, the Rio Grande Trail starts from just behind this apartment building, and it's also just a short walk to boutiques, restaurants, and the world-famous ski resort.

Aspen Nirvana

It’s on the top floor of a hotel, so not only do you get the privacy and independence of an apartment, but you also get the services including breakfast and a spa. When it's warm enough, get some fresh air on the balcony and watch the winter sun illuminate Mt Daly. Soak in the freestanding baths, or head downstairs to the outdoor heated pool for a proper swim. The furniture is designer, and so are the high-quality appliances that will help elevate your experience even further. Even storage space in this home won't be an issue, as there’s a dedicated spot to leave your skis at the end of the day. The views don't just include the mountains, but also the vibrant village plaza below, where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. 

Frosty Peaks

The perks of a five-star hotel and the freedom of self catering are in store at this penthouse apartment. A 24-hour concierge and butler service is on hand to arrange ski equipment, groceries and dinner reservations. Don’t feel like cooking but want a night in? No problem – a private chef can be arranged. Budding chefs can test out the gourmet kitchen themselves after stocking up on fresh, local produce from the shops in Vail. It’s just a few steps to the main streets, packed with cafés, restaurants and ski shops. The Eagle Bahn Gondola to Vail Mountain is right outside your front door, so you’ve practically got ski-in-ski-out access to the slopes. After a day on the mountain, head back to the comfort of a gas fireplace or curl up with a book in the nook of the master bedroom and watch the bustle of the town below. There’s access to the hotel’s rooftop pool too, with a hot tub boasting mountain views that you will not want to miss.

Pop Art Villa

A truly magical place, this chalet home in Steamboat Springs has some serious views. In a lofty position overlooking the town, the nearby golf course and Emerald Mountain – all the way to the Sleeping Giant in the distance – this superb home is spacious, comfortable and stylish. Arranged over three levels, there's a choice of four balconies to sit out and admire those incredible views. The double-height living room and the games room feature huge window walls, perfectly framing the scenery outside, while one of the best views comes from the kitchen, where you can gaze over the mountains as you whip up a meal and eat it out on the dining terrace (the sunsets and the views of the local Winter Carnival's fireworks display each year are amazing). If you're here to ski, you're just a three-minute drive to the mountain or a five-minute walk to the gondola, and you can store your kit in the home's garage. At the end of a day on the slopes or hiking in the hills, there's nothing better than a soak in the hot tub as the sun sets and the stars come out. 

Rollingstone Ridge

This stylish mountain retreat sits right in the heart of Aspen, just steps from buzzing restaurants, chic boutiques and the gondola. Inside, you’ll find a warm, modern interior with everything you need for a carefree stay – from a sleek kitchen to cosy seating and memory foam beds. The gas fireplace keeps things toasty after a day on the slopes, while the private balcony is the perfect spot to soak up mountain views. There’s even a shared hot tub downstairs. Whether you’re skiing, hiking or just relaxing in town, this is an elevated base in a dream location.

Aspen Modern

Set in the sought-after Summit Sky Ranch, a short distance from the main town, there’s a real retreat feel to this brand-new home. A dreamy base for holidaying with family or friends, the open layout is perfect for groups looking to socialise or entertain. All the rooms have large windows, to make the most of the mesmerising mountain views. We loved the round swivel chair and the large natural stone fireplace that doubles up as a smart TV in the grand room. When you’re not relaxing indoors, you’ll no doubt be spending most of your time soaking in the hot tub or snuggling by the gas log fireplace on your private patio. If you fancy hitting the slopes, the main ski resorts are 15 – 30 minutes away, but if you can’t tear yourself away from your mountain retreat, we wouldn’t blame you. 

Bluebird Day

The jury has voted. This home has the best location in Colorado - no contest. Designed by architect Nathan Glassman, this award-winning mountain home has sensational, sweeping views of Copper Mountains. And the inside is just as extraordinary as the outside. In the living room, giant slabs of stone make it seem like the home has been hewn out of the mountainside. Here, neat glass doors completely fold away to expose one of three external patios. There's also a state-of-the-art kitchen, Sonos speakers built-in to the main living rooms, a hot tub large enough to fit in eight guests, a steam room in the master bedroom and family room to keep the kids entertained. In the summer, Raven Golf Course is just across the valley, there are hundreds of miles of bike trials to explore; and of course in winter you've got access to some of the best skiing in the world. 

Rocky Mountain High

This stunning condo with a captivating loft bedroom offers guests an exquisite haven in the heart of Aspen. Located just a ten minute walk to Aspen’s downtown core and world-class skiing, Aspen Glow is the perfect base for a family ski vacation. The minute you walk up the driveway of this charming three-bedroom abode, you’ll immediately feel right at home. The iconic façade, cosy furnishings, beautiful views of Aspen mountain and the airy, sun-filled living room create a cosy nestling spot where families can unwind and hunker down by the fire after a busy day on the slopes. The outdoor hot tub and mudroom are undoubtedly our favourite places in the home. But the kitchen with its gorgeous French sink doesn’t hurt either - and is excellently kitted out for rustling up hearty meals.

Aspen Glow

There aren't many more dramatic views from a house than the ones you'll get here. Nestled in Telluride, a town tucked in a box canyon surrounded by 13-14,000-foot Colorado mountains, you'll feel blessed to look out on stunning snowy peaks all day long. We know some people aren't keen on getting up early for breakfast (especially on holiday), but the early morning views of the Rocky Mountains from the dining table will be enough to wake up even the heaviest sleeper.

Being situated so close to mountains means only one thing – amazing skiing in close proximity. Within nineteen-minutes you can be at Telluride Ski Resort skiing on some of the best slopes in Colorado, as supported by Condé Nast and Forbes. After days out marvelling at the sights, you can look forward to returning to a home just as special. Cook up a meat feast on the barbeque (you're in Colorado after all) before heading out onto the front porch for amazing stargazing opportunities. Don't worry about getting cold, the porch is heated! But if you'd rather stay cosy inside, why not curl up around the fire in the lounge with a cup of hot cocoa to hand. Wholesome.

Snowy Peaks

Designed by Jack Snow of RKD Architects, its walls are made from stone harvested from its seventy-acre lot to curate an organic sense of tranquillity. The environmentally conscious design runs into the interior with natural woods and upholstery. Whether you are inside or out, the San Juan Mountains wrap around the entirety of the home. Glass walls and windows mean that you'll enjoy stellar views everywhere. You can just imagine the close-up shot as you sip a martini, shaken, not stirred from the bar that neighbours an incredible chef’s kitchen. Butler service and private chefs are available through the Pa Gomo estate’s management team for a world-class luxury experience. Winter brings the snowy slopes of the ski resort, snowshoeing, and biking, whilst summer offers golf courses and forested hiking trails.
