Experience one of New York's trendiest areas from this eclectic loft, nestled in the heart of Soho. With a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining table, there's potential for eating in, but the cafes and restaurants lining the streets just outside your doorstep might convince you otherwise. Try a different one every day between visiting Rockefeller Park, Washington Square Park and China Town.  There's plenty else to see within walking distance, but the public transport links nearby can also get you to The Empire State Building or Manhattan Park in minutes.  That's a thumb's up on location – now throw in light-letting oversized windows, plenty of space and an office, and you're onto something.

The kitchenette is small but well-equipped for rustling up light bites or a quick breakfast, and with plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area, you'll want for nothing when it comes to trying out local cuisine. The nearby subway opens up the city for commuting and sightseeing, while hotspots like Madison Square Park, the Empire State Building, and NYC's bustling Koreatown are an easy walk away.

The Heart of Flatiron

Small but stylish, this apartment is perfect for a solo traveller. It may be pocket-sized, but the design makes the most of the space. There's a small desk if you're in town on business, a compact kitchenette ideal for post-adventure snacks, and a quaint bedroom where you can relax after sightseeing around The Big Apple. Speaking of, you'll be in the trendy Lower East Side, a short stroll away from multiple subway stations and close to great bars and restaurants. This is a walk-up apartment, though, so climbing stairs is necessary.

While this home may be modest in square footage, it sure is mighty. Packing a punch in both convenience and amenities, a solo traveller or couple will be very happy here. But we think the views from the rooftop terrace are lovely, and there's seating and a table for enjoying evening drinks or alfresco meals up there. Public transport and hotspots like Central Park and the Empire State Building are within easy reach, so whether you're travelling for work or simply sightseeing, you won't get more central than this.

That adventure can begin the moment you step onto the charming sophistication of Chelsea. Get a bagel for breakfast with a cup of coffee and walk amongst the boutique stores and suave cafes. Carry on walking just a few more minutes and you'll reach the word-renowned energy of Times Square.

Tinted Whispers

This apartment is ideally suited to those looking to drop their bags and head out from the get-go. Its major draw is the fabulous location, placing you in the thick of NYC. Just a short walk away you'll reach the iconic Flatiron Building, the Empire State Building, and Union Square – though this does mean that some noise should be expected. Inside, it's surprisingly spacious for a studio flat, with a kitchen and dining area tucked neatly around the corner. There's a sofa bed for flexible sleeping, but we only recommend this for younger children. 

The Artful Zen

Lofts in the Big Apple don’t get more iconic than this. High ceilings, exposed brick and pipes, Corinthian columns and a stainless steel, industrial style kitchen that radiates a forthright New York attitude. The contemporary design hits just the right note of comfort and cool, and its modern bathrooms offer luxurious relaxation—we’d be making a beeline for that Jacuzzi bath. After a hot coffee at the breakfast bar and placing a bottle of wine in the cooler for later, it’s time to get stuck into your NoHo locale. Situated just east of Broadway, connecting you to the heart of the dazzling Theatre District, and adjacent to the bohemian East Village, where you’re in touching distance of endless old-school bars, cool cocktail lounges, vintage shops and hip restaurants. If you want to head outside of Lower Manhattan, Bleecker Street subway station is a two-minute walk away.
