This apartment is ideally suited to those looking to drop their bags and head out from the get-go. Its major draw is the fabulous location, placing you in the thick of NYC. Just a short walk away you'll reach the iconic Flatiron Building, the Empire State Building, and Union Square – though this does mean that some noise should be expected. Inside, it's surprisingly spacious for a studio flat, with a kitchen and dining area tucked neatly around the corner. There's a sofa bed for flexible sleeping, but we only recommend this for younger children. 

The Artful Zen

This luxurious home is a Gramercy Park gem. Step from the tree-lined block to a world of style and elegance, accessed via a grand staircase. You’ll know you’ve arrived when you take in the 12-foot-tall ceilings, marble staircase, and piano in the parlour. The chef’s kitchen, which leads to a deck with direct access to a private landscaped garden space, is a splendid spot for gathering together, whether you’re a keen home cook or prefer to order in. The rest of this beautiful home unfolds over three floors – there’s no chance of feeling crowded here. 

Gramercy Goals

When exposed brick and chandeliers combine, you know you're in for a treat. This vibrant, cosy apartment is filled with colourful art and unique touches like a skylight in the shower and a cute little garden area outside. It’s a small home, but it has everything you need for a convenient stay in New York. The kitchen's well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and the open-plan layout is perfect for a chill night in with Netflix and wine. Location is really the biggest perk here: sandwiched between Soho and the West Village, you're right in the heart of all the downtown action. Whether you're a culture vulture keen on gallery hopping and ducking into jazz bars, or a fashionista ready to do some damage in one of the world's best neighbourhoods for shopping, you'll be in the thick of it all – plus the dining and nightlife options are some of the best the city has to offer.

Chandelier Life

Warm and cosy, despite New York City's cold temperatures come winter (don't worry there's air conditioning for the summer months too), this little alcove of an apartment is both a humble and practical choice to enjoy while in town on a short trip. Perfect for solo travellers or couples, in particular, you'll be amidst all of Manhattan's action here. While the location is this home's biggest attraction, its clean white interiors and studio layout invite guests to catch some respite with ease and comfort between activities from day through to night – you are in the city that never sleeps after all. Located just down the road from the Tenement Museum, the apartment sits in one of New York's most historic (and most authentic) neighbourhoods. The Lower East Side is known for its careful balance of grunge and chic, so if you're after a true New York experience (in terms of space as well), this is a great choice in an even better location. And since you’re so close to some of the best boutique shops, restaurants and bars in the city, chances are you’re likely to spend more time out than in, which makes this the perfect place to come back to after a busy day. 

The Alcove

From the swoon-worthy brick walls and wooden beams to the mustard yellow sofa with furry throw pillows, this studio apartment has New York cool written all over it. 

Though it may be snug, it has everything you'll need for a relaxed stay, including a sleek kitchenette, a cosy living area and an in-suite washer and dryer – a rarity in NYC. There's a trendy vibe here that fits with the super cool locale. Business travellers will be happy to see the desk – perfect if you need to do a spot of work – while those in town for sightseeing will appreciate the proximity to 23rd Street station, just eight minutes away on foot. 

Gramercy Park is a small pocket of Manhattan known for its upscale eateries and village atmosphere, and your prime locale puts you within easy walking distance of both the Flatiron Building (ten minutes) and the Empire State Building (twenty minutes). We recommend popping over to Union Square Greenmarket (a thirteen-minute walk) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays for some fresh fruit and veg to use in a delicious dinner at home. Or if you're in the mood to go out, grab a drink and a bite to eat at one of the neighbourhood's buzzing bars, restaurants and 24-hour delis.

Gramercy Yellow

This airy rooftop apartment places you in New York City's Greenwich Village, ideal for a city escape. Spread over the top two floors of a four-storey building, you'll need to climb stairs here. But we think the views from the rooftop terrace are lovely, and there's seating and a table for enjoying evening drinks or alfresco meals up there. Public transport and hotspots like Central Park and the Empire State Building are within easy reach, so whether you're travelling for work or simply sightseeing, you won't get more central than this.

Manhattan City Sky

Lofts in the Big Apple don’t get more iconic than this. High ceilings, exposed brick and pipes, Corinthian columns and a stainless steel, industrial style kitchen that radiates a forthright New York attitude. The contemporary design hits just the right note of comfort and cool, and its modern bathrooms offer luxurious relaxation—we’d be making a beeline for that Jacuzzi bath. After a hot coffee at the breakfast bar and placing a bottle of wine in the cooler for later, it’s time to get stuck into your NoHo locale. Situated just east of Broadway, connecting you to the heart of the dazzling Theatre District, and adjacent to the bohemian East Village, where you’re in touching distance of endless old-school bars, cool cocktail lounges, vintage shops and hip restaurants. If you want to head outside of Lower Manhattan, Bleecker Street subway station is a two-minute walk away. 

The Special Relationship

Experience one of New York's trendiest areas from this eclectic loft, nestled in the heart of Soho. With a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining table, there's potential for eating in, but the cafes and restaurants lining the streets just outside your doorstep might convince you otherwise. Try a different one every day between visiting Rockefeller Park, Washington Square Park and China Town.  There's plenty else to see within walking distance, but the public transport links nearby can also get you to The Empire State Building or Manhattan Park in minutes.  That's a thumb's up on location – now throw in light-letting oversized windows, plenty of space and an office, and you're onto something.

Bauhaus Quarters

Located in East Village, this apartment is ideal for a solo traveller or couple visiting the city. You'll have countless eateries, trendy bars, and casual cafes on your doorstep, as well as the popular green space of Tompkins Square Park. At home, it's stylish and uncluttered so you can sprawl out and relax at the end of a busy day exploring Manhattan. If you're looking to work while you're away, there's a work desk area in the bedroom – though it's also worth noting that some street noise should be expected. 

Rock Stars

City life is all about location. And this apartment in Hell's Kitchen – a vibrant neighbourhood in Manhattan – delivers just that. Within walking distance to Times Square, the Hudson River, shopping streets, and culinary delights, you can spend your days pounding the pavement and seeing all that this area has to offer. And, while the apartment itself is a tad on the small side, it offers everything you could need for a fuss-free stay in "The Big Apple", with the added bonus of a desk for working on the go. 

Midtown Haven

The sheer white curtains, lush plant life, and bright decor of this fabulous home put you immediately at ease in this bustling and lively city. Situated on a quiet Chelsea block, it's just minutes away from the bars and galleries this arty neighbourhood is known for. Plus, you're a twelve-minute walk from the Flatiron and can arrive in the Meatpacking District within fifteen minutes. The nearest train station, 23rd Street, is just a three-minute walk away if you need to go further afield. This is a tiny, 300-square foot studio, so won't be for those needing to spread out. But it's quaint and cosy as can be for a solo traveller or romantic getaway – and with a location like this, we think you'll be doing more going out than staying in. 


Swoon

Location is everything here! Situated on a really charming street in Greenwich Village, The Itty-Bitty is perfectly positioned to some of the city's best restaurants and bars. This is a 300-square foot walk-up, but so long as you don't intend to do some serious cooking or massively spread out, this cosy apartment will do just the trick.
