Experience one of New York's trendiest areas from this sleek apartment nestled in the heart of Greenwich Village. You'll be within easy reach of Union Square market, with hip eateries and bars nearby. For those on a sightseeing trip, popular spots such as Flatiron Building, the Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden are all a short walk away. With a well-equipped kitchen and dining table there's potential for eating in, while the laptop-friendly desk serves as a nice space for working remotely – though some street noise should be expected. 

Manhattan's Calling

This home is a busy mix of eclectic furniture, loft windows, exposed brick walls and Yucca plants. The bedrooms have a bit of dorm-like feel and the beds aren’t the most luxurious, but this is still a great spot in the heart of the East Village. Although this area is a little disconnected from the rest of Manhattan, it is best known these days for exciting nights out at trendy bars, and great restaurants. We recommend staying here if you’re happy to explore this very authentic and vibrant neighbourhood.

Colours of the Spirit

Located on a charming cobblestone street in the South Street Seaport and built in 1793, this lovely, European-inspired loft was once an ice house. Sparely furnished and set across two floors with an intentional open-plan living space, the easy flow between rooms is freeing. Both levels boast wood-beamed ceilings and original artwork created by the host himself. While this isn't the most luxurious home on our books, it's cosy and bright, a fluid mix of rustic and modern. 


The Cobblestone

Nolita is quickly embracing that village vibe, with trendy shops and pedestrian paths popping up everywhere. This family home is a perfect fit in the neighbourhood - it's inviting, airy and bright. With two terraces, prime for watching the passerby below and a versatile layout, families can really spread out across the two floors. Keep in mind, this apartment is home to a cat who will be around during your stay - but we consider this an added bonus to an otherwise lovely duplex. 
 

Loki's Den

Practical yet comfortable, this compact apartment in the Lower East Side welcomes business travellers and tourists alike. The desk is ideal for anyone working remotely, and while there is a fully-equipped kitchenette here, space is limited, so we’d recommend it for simple meals only. If you’d prefer to eat out, however, you couldn’t be better placed. From Michelin-starred restaurants to hole-in-the-wall eateries, there is no shortage of dining options in Manhattan. And when sightseeing is on the agenda, it’s an easy subway ride to the Empire State Building.

Modern Simplicity

For a stylish New York stay with all the comforts of home, this Soho loft fits the bill. Perfect for families or couples, it has a full chef's kitchen for home-cooked meals and a dedicated office corner for catching up on work. The large living and dining areas are great for entertaining, and your host can even help arrange private events or a chef’s dinner. Set in the heart of Manhattan, you’ll be surrounded by Soho’s eclectic mix of bars, restaurants, and boutiques – everything you need right on your doorstep.

Urban Manhattan

While this home may be modest in square footage, it sure is mighty. Packing a punch in both convenience and amenities, a solo traveller or couple will be very happy here. With an impressive private terrace – that's almost as big as the home itself – you can thoroughly enjoy some downtime after a busy day with an aperitif under the stars. When you do find yourself at home, there's a comfortable sofa, writing desk and kitted-out kitchen complete with washer and dryer – a rarity in an NYC studio – so you can show up and start living as soon as you arrive. And did we mention that it's only a ten-minute walk to the Flatiron building? Continue for ten minutes more and you’ll reach the Empire State, the Morgan Library and Museum and the tucked away barbecue joints of bustling Koreatown.

Honey Mustard

Experience one of New York's trendiest areas from this eclectic loft, nestled in the heart of Soho. With a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining table, there's potential for eating in, but the cafes and restaurants lining the streets just outside your doorstep might convince you otherwise. Try a different one every day between visiting Rockefeller Park, Washington Square Park and China Town.  There's plenty else to see within walking distance, but the public transport links nearby can also get you to The Empire State Building or Manhattan Park in minutes.  That's a thumb's up on location – now throw in light-letting oversized windows, plenty of space and an office, and you're onto something.

Bauhaus Quarters

Quirky details, like the exposed brick wall and fashion photography prints, inject character into this otherwise minimal home. The bedrooms are on the small side, but the beds are seriously comfortable, with a TV in both. It feels a bit compact, especially with the narrow shape of the kitchen and the dining table taking up most of the communal space. Nonetheless, the location in Nolita makes up for this – surrounded by little shops and cool restaurants, you won’t be spending much time cooking anyway.

Bear in mind that this is a studio apartment, so space is limited – though there still manages to be a fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and desk (perfect for remote working). But the biggest highlight here is the private decked terrace – a real rarity in such a central spot – it comes complete with an outdoor sofa for relaxing away from the tourist crowds.
