Perfect for those with sightseeing on their mind, this home is ideal for a family or group of friends – albeit with two people sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area at full occupancy. But, it’s not just about the location – the star of the show is the private terrace. A rare find in the Big Apple, it’s the ideal spot for an evening aperitif as the city that never sleeps lights up before your eyes. 

Midtown Heights

This is a stylishly decorated apartment, located on the cusp of the Upper East Side and East Harlem. As it's a studio, it's not a large home, but it's been thoughtfully designed with some great views over the NYC cityscape. The comfy sofa, chic dining area and smart kitchen all ensure a comfortable stay in the city – but it's the amenities that really make this home stand out. You'll have access to the building's shared roof terrace, pool, and gym, so whether you feel like hanging out or working out, you're covered. The location is excellent too – an eight-minute walk will bring you to the gates of Central Park, and you can walk to Museum Mile's cultural institutions in around ten minutes. 

Live Love Laugh

Whether you're in Manhattan for business or pleasure, this apartment is a fuss-free spot to rest your head. It's perched in bustling Midtown East, just a few blocks from the East River and walking distance from landmarks like Rockefeller Center and the MoMA. The apartment itself isn't wow-worthy, but it's stylish enough and the kitchen is well-equipped for an NYC pad. Be sure to take advantage of on-site amenities, ranging from a shared library and rooftop terrace to a communal fitness centre and playroom for little ones. There's even rare on-site parking, but you’ll need to pay to use it.

Starlight Sky

This pet-friendly one-bedroom apartment lies in the heart of the Upper East Side, ideal for couples or solo travellers. It's all about location, location, location here, with the subway a short walk away providing excellent travel links for sightseeing or commuting. With plenty to see on foot, you'll be walking your furry friends at Central Park or visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art in no time at all. The kitchen is well-equipped, but we think it's best for prepping lighter bites thanks to its small size. Fear not, though – you'll find a wealth of local restaurants nearby to taste all New York City has to offer.

New York, New York

Nestled in the heart of the Upper West Side, this contemporary apartment is an ideal base whether you’re in the city on business or pleasure. The desk in the main bedroom makes remote working a breeze, while the on-site gym ensures you never need to miss a workout. Sure, the kitchen’s a bit of a squeeze, but it’s equipped with everything needed to rustle up home-cooked meals. That said, with a plethora of eateries on your doorstep and the nearby subway making it easy to hop across the city, dining out is always an option.

New York Spirit

Nestled in one of New York City's most desirable neighbourhoods, this stylish pet-friendly apartment makes a great base for professionals or friends looking to immerse themselves in local life. You'll have all the basics here and the compact kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up light meals or evening snacks. Even better, you'll find some of NYC's best restaurants right on your doorstep, so you're never far from whatever you're craving. Central Park is less than twenty minutes away on foot, while nearby subway stations can help you traverse the city with ease.

The Mid-Century Muse

Nestled in the Upper East Side, this cosy apartment is an ideal base for tourists and business travellers alike – and for those in the city for work, the desk is just the ticket for catching up on emails outside the office. The bedroom is a bit of a squeeze, but it has everything you need for a comfortable night’s sleep. And in terms of location, you’re onto a winner. When you fancy a fresh air stroll or jog, Central Park is just a short distance away, while nearby Lexington Avenue is ready to meet your retail therapy needs. 

Urban Sophistication

Recently refurbished to a high standard, this smart apartment boasts a fabulous location in New York's Upper East Side. Surrounded by a host of restaurants, bars, shops and delis, and just a ten-minute walk from Central Park, it's the perfect base for a break in NYC. Bright and modern, you'll find a stylish, open-plan space with comfortable furnishings, white walls and wood floors. A seating area with a bold yellow sofa makes for a cosy spot to watch TV in the evenings, while the bed and a desk are set alongside tall double windows. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed, with everything to knock up light meals at home, and there's a good size shower room for freshening up before an exciting evening out in the city.

Hello Yellow

Enjoy the amenities that this fully serviced building offers, like the roof deck, the gym, the communal laundry facilities, as well as the lounge. Although we think that the design is pretty lacklustre, Infrared presents a comfortable home in a great location. Situated in the heart of the Upper West Side, you’ll be near two large parks, Riverside Park to the west and Central Park to the east. The nearest subway station is a mere six-minute walk away, however, this is a residential neighbourhood, so if you’re looking to be in the thick of it, we recommend looking elsewhere. 

Infrared

Situated on the Upper East Side, this apartment is an ideal base whether you’re in New York for business or leisure. Remote working comes easily, with a desk set up in one of the bedrooms, while the location means you’re just a short walk from some of the city’s iconic museums, such as the Met and the Guggenheim. Sure, it’s not the most spacious, and the bedrooms, in particular, are a bit of a squeeze, but you’ll find everything you need here and excellent transport links nearby. 

The Tourist

This New York apartment made it into our collection for its desirable location in the Upper East Side. You’ll have the Guggenheim close by for culture and Madison Avenue for shopping, as well as an array of eateries serving everything from classic New York bagels to Michelin-starred cuisine. Though compact, the home has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, a full-size sofa, and a dining table. And while there may not be any outdoor space here, the world-famous Central Park is within walking distance if you want to swap the city streets for open space.

Eastside Elegance

Situated in the heart of the desirable Upper East Side in Manhattan, you’ll be surrounded by an array of boutiques, restaurants and bars. You can have a stroll along its tree-lined streets filled with brownstone homes or visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. Housed in a well-maintained building, you’ll be glad to return to this modern apartment. If you don’t fancy eating out, you can create some home cooked food in the well-equipped kitchen. This place is ideal for family, friends or business colleagues looking for a fantastic location in the Big Apple.
