Merging comfortable living with statement design pieces, it’s easy to see that Tea Tree Hall has been curated with love and care (the host’s own photography and artwork decorate the walls, for example). Split across two floors, there is plenty of space for guests to spread out. The neighbourhood is very much in the grips of gentrification, but Tea Tree Hall is situated on a quiet block in the historic part of Bed-Stuy, and if you visit in summer you’ll find locals hosting street parties and inviting friends and family around for a barbecue.

The Tangerine is a small but newly renovated studio in the Upper East Side. Its decor is simple yet sophisticated and there's a sense of charm that many other corporate style apartments don't have. And despite its size, it's quite well-appointed with a rainfall shower and separate desk space. 



The Tangerine

This apartment is ideally suited to those looking to drop their bags and head out from the get-go. Its major draw is the fabulous location, placing you in the thick of NYC. Just a short walk away you'll reach the iconic Flatiron Building, the Empire State Building, and Union Square – though this does mean that some noise should be expected. Inside, it's surprisingly spacious for a studio flat, with a kitchen and dining area tucked neatly around the corner. There's a sofa bed for flexible sleeping, but we only recommend this for younger children. 

The Artful Zen

Small but stylish, this apartment is perfect for a solo traveller. It may be pocket-sized, but the design makes the most of the space. There's a small desk if you're in town on business, a compact kitchenette ideal for post-adventure snacks, and a quaint bedroom where you can relax after sightseeing around The Big Apple. Speaking of, you'll be in the trendy Lower East Side, a short stroll away from multiple subway stations and close to great bars and restaurants. This is a walk-up apartment, though, so climbing stairs is necessary. 

Bowery Baby

Tucked away in the Upper East Side, this cosy apartment lends itself well to a big city stay. Space is limited, but for a work trip or a weekend getaway it's got a great location, and you can even bring a furry friend for a fee. The compact kitchen lets you rustle up snacks or small meals, while the surrounding restaurants and cafes offer everything from classic bagels and cronuts to Michelin-starred cuisine. In one direction you'll find Central Park, with the scenic East River in the other. To top it all off, nearby subway stations make commuting or sightseeing a breeze.

Dreams on the Upper East Side

From the moment you step inside this New York loft apartment, you can tell the owners are an artist and a chef. The huge, open living area has a gourmet-level kitchen and light floods in from a wall of windows, plus there's an incredible art and design collection. One bedroom is a little small but both are perfectly comfortable and the vast loft-style living area makes up for it. You’re in the heart of Tribeca here where the movie-set-like cast iron loft buildings are home to endless restaurants, bars and even food markets. Plus, the Lower East Side is right next door. 

The Artist's Loft

Set in the desirable Upper East Side, this cosy two-bedroom apartment really lets you immerse yourself in local life. Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you for a fee, so you can bring the whole family along. You'll find the compact kitchen plenty capable when it comes to rustling up something tasty, and there's a wide selection of eateries on your doorstep if you're not feeling up to cooking. Central Park isn't far to walk, and public transport is easily accessible for getting around, whether you're commuting or ticking the sights off your bucket list.

With a View

Location is everything here! Situated on a really charming street in Greenwich Village, The Itty-Bitty is perfectly positioned to some of the city's best restaurants and bars. This is a 300-square foot walk-up, but so long as you don't intend to do some serious cooking or massively spread out, this cosy apartment will do just the trick. 


The Itty-Bitty

Nestled in one of New York City's most desirable neighbourhoods, this stylish pet-friendly apartment makes a great base for professionals or friends looking to immerse themselves in local life. You'll have all the basics here and the compact kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up light meals or evening snacks. Even better, you'll find some of NYC's best restaurants right on your doorstep, so you're never far from whatever you're craving. Central Park is less than twenty minutes away on foot, while nearby subway stations can help you traverse the city with ease.

The Mid-Century Muse

We love this stylish home's location in hip Tribeca, a neighbourhood known for its cobblestone streets lined with fashionable boutiques and chic restaurants. Chinatown is a twenty-minute walk or eight-minute ride, while the One World Trade Centre is eight minutes on foot. The iconic Empire State building is a fifteen-minute drive (just over twenty minutes on the bicycles your lovely host Yvonne provides), or if you fancy some green space, Washington Market Park is a mere two-minute stroll.

Back at this apartment, head up to the gorgeous, private roof terrace and take in the views over the Freedom Tower. Inside, textural 3D artworks adorn the walls, and dark oak floors are enlivened with colourful rugs and furnishings. For the kids, there's a fantastic play area with plenty of toys, books and games. There's a home cinema set up too. Our favourite feature, though, has to be the swing in the living area – so random and yet so right. This playful home is perfect for a family.





It Don’t Mean a Thing if It Ain’t Got That Swing	

This family-size home is only a short walk from Central Park, with many of NYC's other major landmarks within easy reach. Located on the Upper East Side, you'll be just a few steps away from historical buildings, trendy eateries and high-end boutiques. The apartment itself offers everything needed for a comfortable stay, with three uncluttered bedrooms and a study desk area – perfect for those working remotely. The kitchen is fully-equipped for preparing homemade meals, though there's only enough dining space for four guests. That said, there are countless dining options on your doorstep. 

The New Manhattan

There’s a sense of calm that runs through this apartment. It all starts with its quiet Upper East Side location, continues in the understated design, and culminates in the sunny terrace. Of course, calm is a relative term in Manhattan, and almost any building will experience some traffic noise. However, there's something strangely relaxing about listening to the background hum of Manhattan as you swing gently in the breeze. And while there are more than a few steps to negotiate to reach the apartment, we're sure that you won't be disappointed when you reach the summit. Back down at street level, the immediate neighbourhood has a homey atmosphere thanks to its abundance of green spaces and attractive architecture. There are plenty of dining options, with a wide range of global cuisine reflecting the diverse neighbourhood. The rest of Manhattan is easily accessible in under half an hour, thanks to your proximity to 86th Street station – it's just a five-minute walk away.
