The home itself is the perfect place to kick back after a day spent eating, drinking and doing, with its pastel blue tones, warm wooden flooring and chic decor. We love how the floor-to-ceiling windows offer urban vistas from the comfort of your sofa, although our favourite spot is undoubtedly outside on the private balcony. With sweeping views of the unspoiled landscape and comfy Acapulco chairs, we can think of no better start to the day than sipping your morning coffee out here. Fans of impressive viewpoints really will be spoilt for choice with the rooftop terrace and barbecue area overlooking the city skyline across Lady Bird Lake. There's also a gym, outdoor pool and sauna room for those looking to work off last night's overindulging supper. Speaking of, there's a host of local eateries to devour. Walk to Juan Pelota Cafe for breakfast tacos or Barton Springs Saloon for a cold craft beer – both are less than a twenty-minute stroll from your high-rise pad.

With two sumptuous beds to wake up in each morning, as well as a dedicated desk space for any business you may need to do, you have everything you need for both work and play. This Bouldin Creek location makes this home a cut above the rest, with a vibrant neighbourhood on its doorstep and a short drive from Downtown Austin. There are views galore from this tall building, and there's nowhere better to enjoy them than on the communal rooftop, with its excellent sky lounge and outdoor pool. After a swim, head back to your apartment – its floor-to-ceiling windows offer yet more of those views from every angle. Cosy up in the living room, cook for an evening in (the large kitchen is particularly impressive and equipped with everything you'll need) or take your cup of coffee out onto the little balcony. Elsewhere in the building, there's a residents bar, a gym and – best of all – a communal space on the roof with gas grill stations. Just a short walk from the river and Lady Bird Lake, it's a superb, easily walkable spot with all sorts of exciting restaurants, quirky shops and street food vans nearby.

Enjoy some live entertainment at Auditorium Shores, often the place for outdoor concerts and festivals, which is fifteen minutes on foot, or visit some live music venues in the adjacent streets. With its array of attractions, Downtown Austin is just over a thirty-minute stroll or a seven-minute ride. Back at this apartment, go for a pre-dinner dip in the resort-style pool – there's also a gym here so you can keep up with your fitness regime while you're away. Then, cook some Texan produce on the barbecue and enjoy an alfresco dinner. We love this home's on-trend rattan furniture, native patterned textiles and large windows, as well as the balcony with its verdant views – perfect for an evening drink. This is an excellent apartment for a group of friends or a family.
