Location-wise, you’re in the beachy suburb of Camps Bay, where a stretch of bone-white sand attracts surfers and sun loungers alike. It’s a twenty-five-minute walk (or four-minute drive) to myriad seafront restaurants and bars and there’s shopping galore on Victoria Road.

Take advantage of that by watching the tide change from the striped wing chairs, or grab a book from the small library and sink into the brown leather sofa – with the windows open, of course, you want to hear the lapping waves beyond. 

Get the coffee dripping first thing in the morning and once breakfast has been prepared, you can take it all out on the sun terrace where to eat alfresco. Breathe in the fresh, sea salt air from your position on the sunlouger, take a dip in the clear, solar-heated swimming pool, and when lunch inevitably comes around, be sure to try South Africa’s favourite pastime, the braai. If you’re not up for barbecuing, you can of course sample the eateries of the area. There are a couple of restaurants and cafes around a five-minute walk away. 

Spend sundrenched days at the beach – there are plenty of options to explore along the coast, including the famous Clifton Beach. Swim in the Camps Bay Tidal Pool, only a short walk away, or pick any one of the tens of hiking trails around – Lion’s Head is an especially popular choice and the starting point is only seven minutes away by car. 

After a long, tiring day, soak in a bubble bath with a glass of wine in hand. Afterward, why not sit out under the stars with koeksisters or peppermint crisp tart and end the day on a sweet note?

We absolutely love the views over the ocean from this home's communal pool deck. There's a gym for your daily workout and a sky bar, restaurant, lounge, entertainment hub, barbecue area and boutique here, too. The shared facilities are excellent, we have to say. There are more city views and sea glimpses to enjoy from this apartment's private wraparound balcony. Another feature we love is that both bedrooms open onto the terrace and have en-suites. We haven't mentioned the location yet. Well, you'll be near the popular Sea Point Promenade, while the V&A Waterfront is a five to ten-minute drive away.

Tucked away in Cape Town’s leafy De Waterkant district, this stunning apartment is a haven of tranquillity in the heart of the Capital. Nestled in the heart of Sea Point – one of Cape Town’s most coveted neighbourhoods – this ocean-facing apartment is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Inside, high ceilings and plush furnishings make this a home you’ll be happy to linger in, while the private terrace is the perfect place to soak up the gorgeous South African sunshine. Go for a quick dip in the glistening pool or settle in for a day of drinking and dining at the outdoor dining table, which boasts gorgeous views of Cape Town’s beautiful Signal Hill. 

We could easily spend all day unwinding here but, if you fancy a change of scenery, there’s plenty to explore nearby. Along with art galleries, restaurants, shopping and fitness centres practically on your doorstep, it's ideal if you're hoping to stay in the very heart of things.

Colourful and eclectic, this home is freshly renovated, with modern decor, an open layout to the living space and internal stairs up to its bedrooms. There are some fun furnishings and wall art to give it all some character, and a little terrace area to sit out on with your cup of coffee. But it's the view from the master bedroom's Juliet balcony that really wowed us – just imagine gazing at the mountain across the treetops every morning.

It's luxurious and modern, but the soft tones that run throughout the home keep it warm and comforting. But the standout features are the old stone brick walls and wood beamed ceilings, tying in a natural element to this super contemporary home. 

This home is the epitome of indoor/outdoor living, with large patio doors bringing you into the courtyard, which lies between the bedrooms and the living and kitchen area. We love how the wooden beams continue in the courtyard, which is so beautifully decorated that it barely feels like an outdoor area. Evenings spent here are particularly wonderful, enjoying candlelit meals and drinks around the outdoor dining table, before heading up to your rooftop to sip on wine and watch the city skyline sparkle against the dark. Of course, the rooftop is beautiful during the day too, with a small pool that's perfect for cooling off from the South African sun, but there's something about a skyline at night that feels extra special. 

Not only is this home incredibly stunning, but it's also in a great location. You're in the heart of De Waterkant, a vibrant neighbourhood teeming with coffee shops, art galleries, boutiques, bars, eateries, and more. It's the perfect blend between upmarket and trendy. Plus, you're within easy reach of Cape Town's beaches and the majestic Table Mountain.

This cosy little apartment is the perfect pad for a Cape Town break near the beach. This home is just 100 metres from Camps Bay Beach, so you can almost smell the sea air when you wake up each day and open up the Juliet balcony doors.

You can slide open the glass door and step directly onto the vast terrace and pool area, where you’ll also find a dining table with enough sitting for eight - should you opt for an indoor feast, there's an elegant table here too. On those balmy summer nights gather everyone outside for delicious dinners and barbecues under the stars. On hot afternoons, you can easily spend hours reading and relaxing on the comfy sun loungers by the pool.
