Perfectly located opposite Camps Bay Beach, this oceanside apartment boasts unrivalled views with the beach and restaurants just a short walk away.

Wake up to the gentle sigh of the ocean and make a coffee in the stylish modern kitchen before padding onto your private balcony and gazing at the palm-lined beach and ocean. After a day in the sun, wind down with nibbles or a meal in the beach house-style interior. Don’t miss a spectacular sunset from your balcony with a glass of South African wine, although it’ll be hard to – you’ll end up spending most of your time here soaking up the magical views. 

A stone’s throw from the beach, you won’t be able to resist a stroll along the white sands before cooling off in the turquoise water. Grab a bite in one of the many laid-back cafes nearby and have a rummage in the local boutique shops.

This apartment is a perfect base to explore Cape Town. Go hiking in the incredible Table Mountain National Park, which is pretty much on your doorstep, or take a day trip to visit the African penguins at Boulders Beach.

This home is hard to beat for its unforgettable views and central location, just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of exciting Camps Bay.

Ocean Mirrors

Perched just above Camps Bay, you're going to struggle to find a home with a better location than this in Cape Town – or anywhere on the rest of the globe for that matter. Step out onto the terrace and you're greeted with a glorious view of white sands, rolling waves and the Table Mountain range in the distance.

With scenery this stunning, you can see why the architect went for floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the main living area rather than walls. This decision also means that this space is treated to bountiful amounts of natural light, making it a lovely spot in which to relax. We're huge fans of the contemporary design throughout, especially the minimalist kitchen and colourful artworks adorning the walls.

The home even has a surprise up its sleeve in the shape of the plunge pool accessed from one of the bedrooms, offering a wonderfully cooling way to deal with the South African summer months. If you're visiting during the cooler seasons, the large freestanding tub in the master bathroom steps up to the plate instead.

As you can probably guess from the panorama, it doesn't take long to reach the beach – in fact, you can be standing on the sand in no more than three minutes on foot. It also only takes five minutes to drive over to the Table Mountain National Park, in which you'll find a wealth of hiking routes and vantage points. Cape Town's City Centre is just over ten minutes away in the car, too.

Beauty & The Beach

This charming Camps Bay villa, nestled between the mountains and the sea, is a welcoming retreat where you can escape everyday life and simply enjoy some quality time with loved ones. Inside, the home is light and bright with splashes of colour adorning every room. We love the children’s rooms, in particular – packed full of character and with plenty to keep your little ones occupied when you’re enjoying a relaxing day at base camp. Stroll out onto your sunny terrace and you’ll find a comfortable seating area that’s just inviting you to sink down into the cushions with a book and a glass of fine South African wine. If the heat of the day gets a little too much, slip into your sparkling pool and swim a few lengths as the sun beats down. From the living area and outdoor space, you’re blessed with stunning sea vistas that will make it hard to resist a trip to the beach.

If the pull of the ocean is too strong, head to nearby Camps Bay beach where you can surf, enjoy the tidal pool, or simply stretch out on the sand and soak up the sea breeze as you listen to the sound of the waves. In this beautiful location, you’ll feel utterly content and completely at home. 

Below the Mountains

Admire the views over Bali Bay from the sun loungers on this home’s private terrace – we think they are stunning. As the day heats up, take a cooling dip in the plunge pool, then enjoy some of the South African staple chakalaka for an alfresco lunch, followed by some malva pudding. Inside, you can relish more of those sea vistas from all of the rooms. This home is perfect for a couple, business professional or solo traveller.

Located in upscale Camps Bay, spend the day on the white sands of its namesake beach and take in the outlook of the Twelve Apostles mountains. Or sample one of the seafood restaurants, cafes or stylish bars along the promenade. For culture lovers, there’s the Theatre on the Bay, which stages drama, musicals and comedy year-round. 


Bali Bay Vistas

The living space is a focal point of this home – it’s minimally modern, comfortably homey, and seamlessly elegant. With huge picture windows that frame the Atlantic vistas and plush furnishings in the comfortable living room – you’ve got a light-filled oasis to unwind in. Factor in the calm, pared-back bedrooms, and you’ve got all you need for a blissful stay on the Cape Peninsula.

You couldn’t ask for a better location here, with three beaches in close proximity, including the city’s namesake beach famous for its fine white sand and natural rock swimming pool. No need to worry about transport either – a train station and two bus stops can be found within a few miles of the house.

The kitchen here is one you’ll want to make the most of – slick and dynamic, the culinary inclined will love cooking up a feast here.

Need to keep up with your fitness routine? Make use of your private gym’s treadmill, full-body exercise machine, and pilates equipment or if you’re wanting to make the most of your location, go for a jog along the shoreline – you’ll welcome the Atlantic breeze.

Seek out the pristine sands of the iconic Camps Bay beach, a ten-minute walk away. Consider putting on your walking shoes and heading up the Kasteelspoort trail – a picnic at the top, overlooking the Twelve Apostles, would make a treasured memory.

There are several vantage points inside, as well as a few more features to make your stay that bit more memorable, including a games room and gym. To top it all off, Camps Bay Beach is only a short drive away, too.

When you’re in the mood to explore, you’ll find yourself within striking distance of some of the city’s best beaches, including bustling Camps Bay. Settle in for an afternoon of sunbathing or make your way into the city centre for a spot of sightseeing before heading home to watch the sun go down from your private terrace. Bliss.

Atlantic Sunset

Situated just fifty metres from the secluded Bakoven Beach, this penthouse apartment is excellent for a stay that's luxuriously simple. The spacious balcony boasts a private pool and sun loungers with stunning sea views. Sliding doors open up the home and blur the lines between the indoors and out, so you can bask in the sunshine from the kitchen and living area. The Camps Bay beachfront is within walking distance with its lively restaurants and bars, and you'll have space to park in a designated garage if you want to bring a car for further exploration.

Beach Haven

Nestled rather beautifully between the majestic Table Mountain and the glistening sea, this bohemian-style home is an idyllic base for a family or a group of friends looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Cape Town. 

Arrive to be greeted by this home’s cheerful exterior, set against a stunning backdrop of the cloud-covered mountains and boasting partial sea views. The inside will greet you with a bright and cosy living room, with plenty of comfy spaces to lounge about and relax after a long beach day. We love the laid-back vibe of this pad, with its lovely wooden floors and warm ambience. Enjoy movie nights with your loved ones, settling comfortably on the plush sofas in front of the fireplace. You can slide open the glass door and step directly onto the vast terrace and pool area, where you’ll also find a dining table with enough sitting for eight - should you opt for an indoor feast, there's an elegant table here too. On those balmy summer nights gather everyone outside for delicious dinners and barbecues under the stars. On hot afternoons, you can easily spend hours reading and relaxing on the comfy sun loungers by the pool. 

For a night of restful sleep, you’ll have a choice of three equally plush bedrooms, although our personal favourite has to be the master with a sleek ensuite bathroom. Treat yourself to an indulgent bubble bath, before drifting off to the land of sweet dreams in the luxurious king-sized bed. 

In the morning you’ll wake up refreshed and ready for another day of exploring. Head out to find yourself in a lovely neighbourhood, close to the picturesque beaches and with easy access to the centre of Cape Town. Why not start with brunch at your local Bootlegger Coffee Company, located just around the corner from your home. 

The Beachcombers 

Located in Bakoven, where you can overlook the ocean from the balcony, this elegant home shouldn’t just be applauded for its views – however breathtaking – but also for its proximity to the beach. With Beta Beach a stone’s throw away and the famous Camp’s Bay strip not much further, you can spend sunshine days laying back on the sand as you listen to the waves lapping the shore. 

Get in touch with nature by hiking one of the many trails in the surrounding area or visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. When you’re not eating fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants, take to the sleek kitchen – the family gathered around the kitchen island to nibble as you go – and prepare a simple meal with the fresh produce available. 

Spend your time admiring the natural landscape from the balcony – whether that happens to be in the plunge pool or whilst nursing a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. With most of the rooms connecting to a balcony, you can even slip out after everyone else has gone to bed and appreciate the night sky as you listen to the waves crash on the rocks on the other side of the road.
