Breathe in the fresh, sea salt air from your position on the sunlouger, take a dip in the clear, solar-heated swimming pool, and when lunch inevitably comes around, be sure to try South Africa’s favourite pastime, the braai. If you’re not up for barbecuing, you can of course sample the eateries of the area. There are a couple of restaurants and cafes around a five-minute walk away.

Swim in the Camps Bay Tidal Pool, only a short walk away, or pick any one of the tens of hiking trails around – Lion’s Head is an especially popular choice and the starting point is only seven minutes away by car.

With scenery this stunning, you can see why the architect went for floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the main living area rather than walls. This decision also means that this space is treated to bountiful amounts of natural light, making it a lovely spot in which to relax. We're huge fans of the contemporary design throughout, especially the minimalist kitchen and colourful artworks adorning the walls.

We absolutely love the views over the ocean from this home's communal pool deck. There's a gym for your daily workout and a sky bar, restaurant, lounge, entertainment hub, barbecue area and boutique here, too. The shared facilities are excellent, we have to say. There are more city views and sea glimpses to enjoy from this apartment's private wraparound balcony. Another feature we love is that both bedrooms open onto the terrace and have en-suites. We haven't mentioned the location yet. Well, you'll be near the popular Sea Point Promenade, while the V&A Waterfront is a five to ten-minute drive away.
