Tucked away in Cape Town’s leafy De Waterkant district, this stunning apartment is a haven of tranquillity in the heart of the Capital. From the neutral tones to the luxury furnishings, there’s nothing not to love about the interior here, which comes complete with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel alternative. Gather around the dining table for a relaxing evening meal, take a minute for yourself in the quiet enclosed courtyard, or head upstairs for a late-night dip in the private rooftop plunge pool. 

Just a short walk from Cape Town City Centre, this gorgeous home is perfectly placed for exploring all that South Africa’s largest city has to offer. Soak up some culture at one of Cape Town’s iconic museums or make your way to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for a delicious waterside meal. However you spend your days here, we highly recommend heading home before dusk so you can watch the sun go down from your private rooftop terrace. We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of a better way to spend the evening. 

Oak & Glass

Just a short walk from sandy Camps Beach, and with Table Mountain, the city centre and several other beaches within an easy drive, this smart home near Happy Valley is perfect for a small family or some friends sharing. With all the comforts of home, private parking and the added bonus of a small private pool, it's the ideal base for a Cape Town adventure.

Inside, neutral decor and floor-to-ceiling windows create a bright, cheerful feeling from the moment you enter the door, and we love the sliding patio doors opening the living space up the sunny deck. With a covered dining table and a barbecue, it's the dream spot for evening meals as the sun sets. Follow the steps down to a lower level for comfy sun loungers and down again to your own pool.  

Pursuing Happiness 

High up in gorgeous Sea Point, this modern apartment boasts stunning ocean views from the balcony and is ideally located near some of Cape Town’s famous spots. 

Open the sliding doors and savour the beautiful scenery from your private balcony, before cooking up a delicious BBQ and watching a spectacular sunset. Each bedroom also has a Juliette balcony – you can wake up to lovely sea views in the master bedroom and admire the side of Lion's Head mountain from the second bedroom.

Need to catch up on work between glorious sunsets? Make use of the laptop-friendly workstation and go for a jog along the buzzing Sea Point Promenade during your lunch break, or head up to the fourth floor of the block and take a dip in the communal outdoor swimming pool and make the most of the entertainment area.

In your free time, discover the exciting attractions at the V&A Waterfront, just 1.6 miles away, including the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA). With more than 100 galleries over nine floors, you’ll be fascinated all day long. For a romantic evening, take a picnic to the summit of Signal Hill, just half a mile away from the apartment, and enjoy a magical sunset over Table Mountain.

Lion Sunsets

This contemporary apartment exudes a luxurious elegance whilst maintaining authentically African character. Unique ornaments and artefacts decorate the living space and bright artwork hangs on the walls. It's the perfect blend of bold design and modern comfort. 

The whole home radiates with an airy vibe, brightened by the floods of natural light pouring in through the window. The cream, L-shaped sofas and six-seater table act as social settings, tailor-made for when the whole group comes together. 

The group can also snuggle up on the cute table on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful waterfront. A swinging chair rests in the corner for lazy mornings with a book, a dreamy spot to hear the sound of the waves of the ocean. 

On the other side of the balcony, you'll find a top-rate BBQ for sizzling meats and vegetables. Prepare some burgers and biltong for carefree nights in the intimate outdoor space, complemented by wine from the local vineyards.

If you wanted to venture out from the apartment, you're a few minutes' walk from the picturesque V&A Waterfront. The super-pretty marina is home to various bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as a sprawling shopping centre. For a more low-key afternoon, just chill in the communal pool under the gentle rays of the sun.



All Heroes Wear Capes

If your idea of a great holiday involves stunning ocean views, you’ll be hitting it out of the park with this beautiful home. Set in the heart of Mouille Point and overlooking the Atlantic, you can spend mornings curled up on the sofa, breaking between chapters to check in on the ocean just outside. 

Spend breakfasts at the striking dining table, the concertina doors gaping open to allow the sea-salt breeze in as you drink coffee, pass the scrambled eggs around, and chatter about the day’s plans. 

Those plans might involve a shopping trip at V&A Waterfront or perhaps a day at Mouille Point beach doing little more than listening to the waves lapping. For something a little more cultural, you can stop off at the Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum, only minutes away. Considering that the Bo-Kaap is famous for its brightly coloured houses, it’s worth seeing anyway – even just for a fabulous holiday photo.

Back home, soak up the calm atmosphere created by the natural elements, neutral colour palette, bohemian flair and many verdant green houseplants. And if the space isn’t enough to unwind, you can always enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony at sunset.

Portal to Mouille Point

This penthouse has a private roof terrace with incredible vistas over the city – it's the perfect spot for a barbecue lunch, followed by cocktails made at the bar. Or, later, go for a sunset dip in the communal rooftop pool – we love the vistas from here. Inside, take a seat on the huge, comfy L-shaped sofa and spend some quality time chatting with your family or friends. If you don't fancy eating out, rustle up a Cape Malay curry, open up the doors in the dining area to the balcony and enjoy your meal as a cooling breeze drifts in. 

Situated in Green Point, Cape Town, have a stroll around its namesake park with its lakes, jogging trails, and hedge maze. The park is also home to the Cape Town Stadium, which hosts sports and concert events. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to sample in the neighbourhood too.


African Sunsets

Overlooking one of South Africa’s most loved beaches, this home makes the perfect setting for a breezy coastal getaway. Wake up to beautiful views and savour the feeling of the fresh Southern Atlantic air from the deck. There’s a barbecue for alfresco dining and your host is on hand to help organise extras like a private chef and catering. All three of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms as well as access to the outside. Plus, you’ll be in the ideal spot for massage treatments, yoga sessions, surf lessons as well as hiking along this beautiful stretch of Cape Town.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town's central, you can savour the peace and comfort this beachside location offers – the white-sand shores of Camps Bay are merely a five-minute stroll away.

If you're quiet, you might even hear the waves lapping on Clifton 4th Beach. We suggest bringing a car so you can easily journey into the city centre, less than ten minutes away. Learn more about the country's history at the fascinating Iziko South African Museum, before putting on your walking shoes and heading up Signal Hill. Trust us, it's worth it for the views.

If you’re looking for mountain views, you’ve found them. Tucked away on a quiet street in Camps Bay, this luxurious villa has everything you need. The open-plan kitchen and rooftop terrace make this home perfect for entertaining, while the private pool and freestanding bathtubs were made for relaxing afternoons. You couldn’t ask for a better location here, with three beaches in close proximity, including the city’s namesake beach famous for its fine white sand and natural rock swimming pool. No need to worry about transport either – a train station and two bus stops can be found within a few miles of the house.


Mountain Marvel

This lavish home in the upmarket neighbourhood of De Waterkant is breathtaking. Soft hues of rose and peach envelop the apartment, sweeping a sepia, dreamlike feel across this outstandingly decorated home. It's luxurious and modern, but the soft tones that run throughout the home keep it warm and comforting. But the standout features are the old stone brick walls and wood beamed ceilings, tying in a natural element to this super contemporary home. 

This home is the epitome of indoor/outdoor living, with large patio doors bringing you into the courtyard, which lies between the bedrooms and the living and kitchen area. We love how the wooden beams continue in the courtyard, which is so beautifully decorated that it barely feels like an outdoor area. Evenings spent here are particularly wonderful, enjoying candlelit meals and drinks around the outdoor dining table, before heading up to your rooftop to sip on wine and watch the city skyline sparkle against the dark. Of course, the rooftop is beautiful during the day too, with a small pool that's perfect for cooling off from the South African sun, but there's something about a skyline at night that feels extra special. 

Not only is this home incredibly stunning, but it's also in a great location. You're in the heart of De Waterkant, a vibrant neighbourhood teeming with coffee shops, art galleries, boutiques, bars, eateries, and more. It's the perfect blend between upmarket and trendy. Plus, you're within easy reach of Cape Town's beaches and the majestic Table Mountain.

Bamboo Sugar

This home is stunningly aesthetic, and with such a spectacular view of Table Bay's private yacht marina, it would be a pity to pass it up. Slide the balcony door open and relax in the egg chair with a drink of your choice, admiring the beautiful turquoise water that glistens in the sun, and when noon arrives, light up the barbecue to enjoy some tasty grilled food. In the afternoon, visit The Old Biscuit Mill, a heartfelt collaboration between chefs, designers, photographers, and other artists from the area – formerly a biscuit factory that now hosts a Saturday market with over 100 speciality dealers for you to experience.
