We absolutely love the views over the ocean from this home's communal pool deck. There's a gym for your daily workout and a sky bar, restaurant, lounge, entertainment hub, barbecue area and boutique here, too. The shared facilities are excellent, we have to say. There are more city views and sea glimpses to enjoy from this apartment's private wraparound balcony. Another feature we love is that both bedrooms open onto the terrace and have en-suites. We haven't mentioned the location yet. Well, you'll be near the popular Sea Point Promenade, while the V&A Waterfront is a five to ten-minute drive away.

Trendy Seaside Retreat

Bright and modern, this home in Mouille Point combines rattan furniture, pampas grass, and plenty of wooden elements with bold wallpaper and vibrant tiles to create a natural bohemian style with dramatic flair. As if that isn’t already impressive enough, this home also has incredible views of Lion’s head on one side and the Atlantic on the other.

This home is the epitome of indoor/outdoor living, with large patio doors bringing you into the courtyard, which lies between the bedrooms and the living and kitchen area. We love how the wooden beams continue in the courtyard, which is so beautifully decorated that it barely feels like an outdoor area. Evenings spent here are particularly wonderful, enjoying candlelit meals and drinks around the outdoor dining table, before heading up to your rooftop to sip on wine and watch the city skyline sparkle against the dark. Of course, the rooftop is beautiful during the day too, with a small pool that's perfect for cooling off from the South African sun, but there's something about a skyline at night that feels extra special. 

Not only is this home incredibly stunning, but it's also in a great location. You're in the heart of De Waterkant, a vibrant neighbourhood teeming with coffee shops, art galleries, boutiques, bars, eateries, and more. It's the perfect blend between upmarket and trendy. What's more, both bedrooms have direct access to either a courtyard or a balcony, making the rooms feel larger.

Located in Green Point and close to a number of restaurants and shops, as well as the Sea Point Promenade and the V&A Waterfront. If you enjoy hiking, venture to the Lion's Head path, which begins just opposite the apartment's entrance, so put on your hiking boots and surround yourself with the natural wonders with an excellent view of the city. Expect to snack your way through everything from biltong to Black Forest gateau while sipping fresh juices, coffee and craft beer at the Neighbourgoods Market.

The open-plan kitchen and rooftop terrace make this home perfect for entertaining, while the private pool and freestanding bathtubs were made for relaxing afternoons. You couldn’t ask for a better location here, with three beaches in close proximity, including the city’s namesake beach famous for its fine white sand and natural rock swimming pool. No need to worry about transport either – a train station and two bus stops can be found within a few miles of the house.

This penthouse has a private roof terrace with incredible vistas over the city – it's the perfect spot for a barbecue lunch, followed by cocktails made at the bar. Or, later, go for a sunset dip in the communal rooftop pool – we love the vistas from here. Inside, take a seat on the huge, comfy L-shaped sofa and spend some quality time chatting with your family or friends. If you don't fancy eating out, rustle up a Cape Malay curry, open up the doors in the dining area to the balcony and enjoy your meal as a cooling breeze drifts in. 

Situated in Green Point, Cape Town, have a stroll around its namesake park with its lakes, jogging trails, and hedge maze. The park is also home to the Cape Town Stadium, which hosts sports and concert events. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to sample in the neighbourhood too.

Nestled in the heart of Sea Point – one of Cape Town’s most coveted neighbourhoods – this ocean-facing apartment is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Tucked away in Cape Town’s leafy De Waterkant district, this stunning apartment is a haven of tranquillity in the heart of the Capital. From the neutral tones to the luxury furnishings, there’s nothing not to love about the interior here, which comes complete with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel alternative. There’s plenty to keep the whole group entertained and pampered at the villa itself, with a swimming pool looking out towards the Atlantic, a separate plunge pool and a braai for those hot summer nights. A wall of glass slides open to blend the swimming pool terrace with the huge, open-plan living area. In here, you’ve got a vast dining table and plush lounge set around a striking feature fireplace. 

Heading down to the lower floor, you’ll find a dedicated games room with a pool table, and the secret plunge pool on the terrace outside. Bedrooms come with private balconies and patios to take in that Camps Bay sunset in peace every evening. 

Location-wise, you’re in the beachy suburb of Camps Bay, where a stretch of bone-white sand attracts surfers and sun loungers alike. It’s a twenty-five-minute walk (or four-minute drive) to myriad seafront restaurants and bars and there’s shopping galore on Victoria Road.

Just a stone's throw from the V&A Waterfront, there's plenty to explore around this sleek apartment. You've got bustling Green Point and its array of lively nightlife, delicious restaurants and cute coffee shops within easy reach. Then there's the aquarium and museums right by the seaside, as well as breathtaking views of the Atlantic and Table Mountain from the top of Signal Hill. And with the buzz of Cape Town's City Centre also close by, we can't think of a more central spot.

Adventures may be right on your doorstep, but you'll need a cool and contemporary place to return to after a long afternoon on your feet. This apartment is the ideal antidote – picture breezy living spaces, stylish bedrooms and a glossy kitchen that makes self-catering a dream. There's also a balcony where you can catch the last of the evening rays – although it overlooks the hustle and bustle of the street, we still think it's an excellent spot to share a bottle of South African Pinotage as you plan tomorrow's itinerary. You'll also find a communal pool on-site, perfect for a quick morning swim before heading out for the day.

Set in De Waterkant, all the delights of Green Point are close at hand, with the V &A Waterfront just a stroll away and the hiking trails of Signal Hill within easy reach. Along with art galleries, restaurants, shopping and fitness centres practically on your doorstep, it's ideal if you're hoping to stay in the very heart of things.

Colourful and eclectic, this home is freshly renovated, with modern decor, an open layout to the living space and internal stairs up to its bedrooms. There are some fun furnishings and wall art to give it all some character, and a little terrace area to sit out on with your cup of coffee. But it's the view from the master bedroom's Juliet balcony that really wowed us – just imagine gazing at the mountain across the treetops every morning.

You can slide open the glass door and step directly onto the vast terrace and pool area, where you’ll also find a dining table with enough sitting for eight - should you opt for an indoor feast, there's an elegant table here too. On those balmy summer nights gather everyone outside for delicious dinners and barbecues under the stars. On hot afternoons, you can easily spend hours reading and relaxing on the comfy sun loungers by the pool.
