This Turkish villa boasts three floors of contemporary living. The top two levels feature en-suite bedrooms and sun-kissed balconies, while the open-plan living space downstairs is ideal for unwinding together as a group. That said, our favourite feature is the terrace, with its private pool, vibrant lounge chairs, and an alfresco dining table beckoning for family meals at sunset. The location isn't bad, either. Kalkan Old Town and its postcard-worthy beach are about twenty-five minutes on foot – there's also a local bus if you're not up for walking. Closer to home, you'll find a restaurant, supermarket and bar in Kalamar Bay, 300 metres away.

• Well-behaved pets may be allowed on request, but you'll need to pay £30 per pet, plus a £175 security deposit – please speak to your host before booking if you'd like to bring your pet along.

• While your host can likely provide one cot and one high chair for free, extra equipment may be available for an additional fee of £30 per cot and £15 per high chair – you may have to bring your own cot linen.
