One look at that private terrace with sweeping views over Barcelona, and it's easy to see why this home caught our eye. Location-wise, you're right in the heart of vibrant Glòries. Don't miss the nearby mall with its long-standing flea market and upscale shops and eateries. Or hop over into neighbouring L'Eixample to hit the must-see sights. If we were being picky, though the kitchen is well-equipped, it could do with an interior refresh. It's also worth noting the second bedroom is pocket-sized with limited floor space. But we'll let that slide for a home with such impressive outdoor space.

El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou is a small neighbourhood outside of the old historical centre. Aside from easy access to the beaches, several successful startups call these streets their home, which gives you a good idea about the creative atmosphere and its residents. Madame Marina is a relaxed home with a beachside vibe. The furniture does show some wear and tear, but the appliances are all in great condition. The terrace is key to the atmosphere, especially on sunny days, where you can see for miles in all directions.

The furniture here is more of a backdrop than a statement, but that works quite well to maximise the space. Barcelona's most famous sights might not be in the immediate vicinity of Poblenou, but Bogatell beach is within walking distance.

Adorned with Modernist masterpieces, this part of Barcelona boasts great architecture on every corner and even the insides of an unassuming building like this one show some masterful craft. True, the street you'll be staying on is a little bit noisy, but we think that easy access to the cultural heart of town more than makes up for it.

Nestled in the vibrant Eixample neighbourhood, this studio apartment boasts a stylish interior and a wrap-around Juliet balcony, making it an ideal place to base yourself during your Barcelona city break. While you’ll be within walking distance of markets, taps bars and galleries, you’ll also benefit from the proximity of excellent transport links, with Girona metro station just a few steps away. After a morning of emails at the handy deskspace, you can enjoy a dose of culture within moments of leaving your front door. And after a day of exploring, what could be better than a glass of wine overlooking the bustling streets below? 

Eixample Chic

As for El Poblenou, it's a residential, quiet neighbourhood without the city noise – and yet under a twenty-minute wander from the iconic La Sagrada Familia.

Still, the beautiful view and comfort make it a good option for a small family or a group of friends.

This apartment has a modern style and is located in the heart of Barcelona's bustling city centre, next to Plaça de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia. Just a five-minute stroll from the Barri Gòtic and El Born, as well as being surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants, you really couldn't be asked to be better placed. The home also benefits from a Juliet balcony and a stylish living area with a sociable breakfast bar – ideal for morning coffees before setting off for a day of sightseeing. You're also a three-minute walk from the FGC train station and the Plaça Catalunya metro station, both connecting you to the entire city with ease.

Inside your home, a lavish theme continues. The furnishings are high-quality, modern pieces, and the colour scheme of the decor is rich and regal. We particularly love the deep crimson tiled bathroom and dark green feature walls. Pick up an art book from the shelf and have a flick through as you catch some rays on the balconette. From up here, the Urquinaona metro stop is so close you can almost see it – just one minute away, hop on to be whisked around the entire city. But there’s plenty to do on foot. See Gaudí’s masterpieces Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, a fifteen and twenty-minute walk respectively, on the elegant broadway of Passeig de Gràcia. You can hit some designer shops en route, before winding back to your locale for tapas and a glass of Spanish wine.

Let's kick off with the location first with this home – it's fantastic. The apartment is within walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya and the Arc de Triomf, as well as all the restaurants and bars of Eixample. Culture lovers, on the other hand, can visit the nearby Picasso Museum and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. The apartment itself has a Juliet-style balcony with views over the La Rambla de Catalunya. We should point out that if you're a group of four, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the already compact living room. But that's probably a small price to pay for such a great address.
